The price-value ratio is absolutely good, as many people have written, the accommodation is really reminiscent of the old days, but they pay great attention to cleanliness, which cannot be said for many other "modern" places. The food is excellent, as is the service. A special plus is that there is no field force, you can be separated from the outside world.

Cheap accommodation on a beautiful countryside.

The pension is beautiful from the outside, with a nice, helpful receptionist. I didn't like the room anymore: uncomfortable bed, non-functioning lamp hanging from the wall. Our room did not have its own direct bathroom, the one we could use had to be accessed through an anteroom, but it was quite disturbing that sometimes strangers walked in front of it. Lovely cozy hotel, with a few rooms. The interior is fresh, new and we'll designed. The breakfast is continental, "all-you-can" eat. The personnel is kind.

Looks good outside but the room is regular quality, the bed should be changed for new one, smell like an old building. And bathroom should have electric motor ventilation, not just a hole, no windows outside for the bathroom. For 12800 ft per night, comparing with other places in Hungary and in Miskolc which looks much better, quality is not good.

The food was great, and the terrace has a great view to the lake, and it's shady even in a hot summer day. Beware, there are an awful lot of stairs in the place, but it's no surprise as the whole area is located between hills.

A classic hotel with fully updated rooms, very comfortable beds and a great restaurant. We loved the walk around the lake and the gardens and falls.

The staff was absolutely lovely and accommodating. They made the stay easy with our year old son. The view is incredible from the cafe! Highly recommend!

A group of us stayed for three nights. The staff was super friendly and attentive to all our needs. Loved the rooms as each was decorated beautifully and in a different style. The restaurant served a wonderful variety of delicious food so we decided to eat all our meals there. This place is well worth a visit for a few relaxing days to unwind and enjoy nature. After riding the Lillafured train we stopped here for lunch. The view of the lake was fantastic. The quality of the food and service was what you would expect from an establishment such as this…excellent! Strongly recommend eating here!

This review relates to the restaurant only. This impressive looking grand hotel is steeped in history and tradition. The air conditioned dining room is huge and has an adjoining terrace with views. We were told to find a table that we liked after which the problems began. We waited more than ten minutes for menus to be provided to us. We had an amazing time. The place is gorgeous, and the service was fantastic. The lobby bar in particular was our favorite. The cocktails, coffee drinks, and service were all excellent.

The fairytale hotel that should definitely be on your travel list when visiting Miskolc or North-Eastern Hungary.

We had two meals, breakfast and dinner during our 3 day stay inclusive of the hotel charges. Menus change everyday and food quality was good. The surroundings were beautiful with activities you can do like tracking, swimming in the nearby cave spring.

We were very happy with this place. Comfortable room with a big clean bathroom next to it. The kitchen had what we needed and the couch area was a great place to relax after a day on the mountains. Would definitely stay again.

Dear, flexible accommodation provider, the price-value accommodation is perfect, the sights are within walking distance. It’s worth noting that there are no shops nearby and the restaurants ’kitchens close quite early, but that too can be easily eliminated.

Clean, comfortable, good location, fairly inexpensive. 2 nice restaurants in walking distance. The creek runs buy it. Whoever they didn't upgrade their design for 20+ years.

The hotel is fine and very quiet. The restaurant closes early, so if you plan to eat something, don't wait until it's too late... the nearest restaurant is approximately 1km away, and also closes early! They have a sauna and a "salt room". The latter isn't used often but it's quite interesting, they say it clears your lungs helps you breathe.

Spacious, well equipped rooms, super friendly and accommodating staff and a great location with main attractions being in walking distance. The creek flows right next to the hotel with a beautiful waterfall by the gardens.

Our staying there was really pleasant. I loved the room, very cosy. Worth to visit again and stay a bit longer. They have a fully equipped kitchen, fridges, cooker as well. You can park inside, if there is a spot(only 3 cars can park inside) but you could park on the side of the road too.

Spent a weekend here in the African Premium room a few months ago. Everything was really good; the atmosphere, the staff, the rooms, the food, the wellness. It was really nice and relaxing to spend a few days here. Altho if I may say, we liked Shiraz a bit more ;)

Positive: The area is very quiet. The accommodation is located in a beautiful natural setting. The room was clean. In the common room there is a kitchen with billiards next to the kitchen and another lounge with armchairs. The garden is nicely arranged and there is a very good bacon oven / stew space. Well equipped apartments, demanding environment, billiards table, barbecue facilities, mostly shower enclosures. Great for a big family, but the walls are thin so everything can be heard. We really liked it!

Nice hotel at an excellent location with a lot of facilities!

This is a fantastic place, a resort in the beautiful Szilvásvárad. You can stay in houses with kitchenette, two bedrooms, living room. It has a fireplace and free wifi. The breakfast is excellent, great choice, and dinner containt 8-10 varieties of hot dishes. The resort has wellness facilities too.

We had New Years Eve, altogether 2 nights in this hotel. We had a great experience. We stayed at one of the apartment houses with cozy rooms, kitchenette, sitting room. The brekfast and dinner were fine. The New Years Eve party including the dinner, drinks and entertainment was awesome. I recommend to spend some days, as well as New Years Eve here.

Stayed here a while ago but I still thought I would write a review. I would highly recommend staying here. The rooms were clean, comfortable, the scenery is beautiful and quiet (in a good way) and the staff are very nice. I’m always cautious because of my dietary restrictions but they even made me a mini gluten free loaf every morning :) Overall it was a lovely stay.

Absolutely loved this place! highly recommended to stop by and spend some time. I worked from here remotely, and it was perfect for that as well. The staff is absolutely friendly and welcoming, the food is beyond expectations and the atmosphere is relaxing. Loved the different accommodation types and the community spaces as well.

Great place for the nature lover. Lovely hospitality by the staff, good food. Only downside is the water pressure in the bungalow, we were staying in one of the highest situated one and if you open the kitchen sink tap, it would shut it off everywhere else, including the two showers. Something to improve there. I would still return.

The decoration of the room is a bit much, but it is comfortable and well equipped anyway, there is everything an average tourist can need. There were a lot of dogs, but we love them, it wasn’t bothersome. It is close to local attractions. The walls are thin, every movement is audible, it could bother someone.

We loved it! A cozy garden, the house is spotlessly clean everywhere! I can't imagine a better place to stay. The táltos restaurant is also a must! :)

My partner and I were looking for a restaurant on Sunday evening where we could have dinner, we went to several places in Szilvásvárád, but they didn't accept us anywhere, only here, despite the fact that we came in a quarter of an hour before closing time. The waitress was very nice, the cook baked/cooked us fast, extremely good food. We will come here again next time.

Well. 2 times I have been there the 1st thing I need to tell: make sure you have enough time to wait for the food. Do not even think about a quick lunch it takes so long to receive anything so go before you starving. Staff is confusing one time sayin’ they cannot serve u as expected a group then decided to have us the last guests. It has hungarian foods, which taste okay, nothing special.

We went there for 1 night. The location of the hotel is spectacular. Room was very nice. But the food options for dinner were really limited and not tasteful. Also the a waitress was during the breakfast time was really acted rude towards me while serving me which I didn't expect at all.

We were there only for a lunch after a nice walk down from Fátyol falls, but the service was excellent, the venue well maintained and clean, and the food was superb. They are also especially flexible with regards to food for the little ones. Second visit there, most likely not the last, might even stay for a night or two too next time.

We are returning guests, as last time everything was great! Breakfast is delicious and plentiful, the hosts are kind and helpful! The first time I have stayed in a guest house all by myself. I was the only guest today in the rooms but no complaints. The place is quite a distance from the center but it's beautiful. If you like quiet and peace, then this is the place to come. Like an oasis from the hustle and bustle. The room is pretty and bathroom is adequate. We couldn't find the remote control for the climate control, but it didn't bother us. Other than that, everything was great. I strongly recommend it for 4-6-8 people.
