This is a very average 2 or 3 star hotel in a pretty picturesque town. The hotel is very basic, although included half board (breakfast and dinner) which was a buffet. Food is very heavy and salty… hotel includes free water, coffee and juice but only till 6pm…. 😳 Our room had a king bed which was two singles pushed together, which moved apart overnight. Mattress very soft (foam) pillows very hard. Bathroom is large with shower only, towels are dreadful- small and thin. The room had a balcony which was nice place to chill after a day out with beers bought from the local supermarket. The thermal pool is very nice to chill in…. Hungarian and German is spoken and no English. If you only speak English you are in trouble…..

More guests are admitted to this thermal spa than there are sunbeds available. It is very cold and too loud for a thermal spa and definitely overcrowded. The rooms are large and spacious but still dirty! The service at the bar doesn't understand a word of German and just turns around and leaves without getting someone else who understands German or at least English. The selection of food was good but unfortunately everything was COLD! Cold soups and cold to lukewarm main courses are part of the menu here. It's a real shame that this thermal spa/hotel has disqualified itself and will no longer be a travel destination. We were last there 10 years ago and we were more than impressed but since then everything has changed for the worse!

A nice bath with a lot of different pools. A water could be warmer. I like that in the thermal bath area there is lot of greens. This makes the area even more relaxing. Despite my general experience was nice, lifeguard personnel was very unpolite! I would advise management to take care about their employees attitude and behaviour!

We stayed at this hotel/spa for nostalgic reasons. First the positive: the room for 3 women was big enough and clean, the terrace overlooking the garden was very big. But then there were a number of things that were not to our liking: the pools in the spa are too cold and seem very unkempt, and the fact that you have to pay extra for the sauna (where very little works) is incomprehensible. Despite paying extra, the barrier would not open - we had to climb over it or crawl through it several times. The evening buffet is geared towards quantity, not quality, hardly any Hungarian food in Hungary; we found the breakfast better - there was more choice and enough fruit and cereal ingredients.

The hotel is very beautiful, and the staff is also friendly. BUT! The service is absolutely not at the level of a 4-star hotel. The breakfast and dinner are absolutely neither plentiful nor varied. At the buffet dinner, there are usually 3 main courses, 2 of which are low-budget (pasta/saucy dishes). Additionally, dinner is served in two shifts, which you have to decide upon at check-in. We chose the second shift (8:00 PM - 9:30 PM), but it happened several times that some dishes were no longer available to us. Breakfast is also very average, roughly at the level of a guesthouse. A positive aspect is the proximity to the bath, which can be accessed through a corridor.

Hotel has good rooms, with excellent dinner and breakfast. It was clean and quiet inside of the rooms. It is hard to call elevator, buttons are almost insensitive to touch. Staff is very pleasant, but mostly do not speak English. Inside air temperature and water temperature in large pool were cold. Outside pool was freezing cold, without any heating at all. Tiles at big inside pool are too slippery. Jacuzzi and silent pool were nicely warm. They are letting teenagers without parents in wellness area, so be prepared to listen to unbred, never stopping screaming in wellness area.

The hotel is great. Definitely worth its 4 stars. The hot spring attached to the hotel is ok but mostly indoors and catering to kids. I'd have loved 50/50 inside/outside then I'd definitely give my fifth star and come back again. Price is good but be warned that prices can change rapidly these days

Very cold in the thermal baths + cold water, nothing like a thermal bath - very old, broken tiles everywhere you look. Cleanliness is also poor, whether in the thermal baths or the hotel. To "warm up" there are 2 warm whirlpools, which are always full. The restaurant in the thermal baths is a joke, not even one star in terms of quality. Unmotivated staff everywhere you look. It smells strongly of chlorine or deep fryer, depending on where you are. I don't understand how you are supposed to relax here... In the hotel restaurant some of the food is cold and often breaded. Prices are similar to those in Austria. However, there is no longer any value for money here. So if you think you can get a bargain for little money, you are doing so at the expense of your own nerves and health. I advise everyone not to go here, you will only be disappointed!!
