Nice hotel on a small hill with wonderful view! Close to the lake Balaton and nice regions around the Balaton! Wellness area small and nice, only the whirlpool didnt work

Beautiful hotel, fantastic location, nice and clean wellness area. Staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant food was pretty decent too.

The staff is polite, the room was clean and the sauna world with the evening sauna sessions. Extra point for the late night wellness. The location is also nice, the more expensive rooms have a nice view on the lake

Opening times a bit to short or difficult to manage with dinner time. Rooms nice and clean, comfortable bed, balcony or terrace and big bathroom. Restaurant with nice view! The terrace is lovely to sit outside

But unfortunately (in July) eating was a bit of a challenge cause of wasps. The service was a bit unattentive. Food was good but with to less variety

Only for stars because the food was not that good as anticipated. It was okay but nothing special

If you are looking for a sparkling clean accommodation with super nice hosts, this is the right place for you. Well-cared for outside and inside. With a really great pool, cleanliness also perfect here

In bad weather, a roof can be moved over the pool. At the pool several covered seating areas for eating or just lingering in the shade, as well as several very comfortable (!) Loungers by the pool

It is family panzió in nice place, few minutes from balaton, supermarket is at the corner, few good restaurants around the house, and pool in garden. Next year if we go to balaton we go here! :)

The object is honestly recommended! Very nice owner, very clean and well-kept room, an additional advantage is the swimming pool. Shop "under your nose", 10 minutes walk to the beach

The hosts are kind and flexible. The place is clean everywhere. However, WIFI upstairs is unenjoyable! If already advertised. Wifi amplifier would be good! The pool is very nice

It is a pity that you can only bathe until 20:00 and that there is no vegetation in the immediate vicinity of the pool. Overall a pleasant, beautiful place!

10 minutes walk from the beach, otherwise peace and quiet. The hosts take care of the surroundings, lots of plants, flowers and trees. On the plus side there is a small but covered swimming pool

Nice place, good apartment close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Micro is unfortunately only shared with the other apartments and the wi-fi signal is not very strong, but apart from that everything was perfect.

Unfortunately, it was very difficult to communicate verbally, since no German was spoken and only very bad English, but we still managed. Make requests or questions in writing, then it works without any problems

There were 2 light bulbs in the house. There was no battery in the TV remote control. On the other hand, there was breakfast, which we were only told on the second day. It was not listed at the time of booking

Accommodation is very simple, but will take you for a night or two. In the garden, unfortunately, I had to walk among garbage bags and wine bins because the apartment was right behind the restaurant

The owner is German but speaks Hungarian. The apartment is simple but clean. However, about 5 cats belonging to the owner have access everywhere. I mean, in the catering unit as well

The complimentary breakfast was a great bonus. Nice hosts. Free parking place in front of the building.

The pool and whirlpools are really nice. The beach of the Balaton lake is about 15 min walking from the camping, this is a payed beach but worth a visit. The toilets and showers are clean enough

He recommended a lot of things to visit and do nearby. Very good parking place and a lot of facilities available. What can be improved: Although we did had a great time, the daily cleaning still can be improved

Positive: The rooms are big enough and very comfy bed. Good breakfast and the staff is very friendly and nice! I would recommend Mr. Janos to everybody! Very kind & polite owner

However, there is no hot water to do the dishes and the showers are also not really hot

For me magic place, wonderful owners, homemade breakfast, close to the balaton. Wonderful garden with pool, jackuzii, sauna -outside. You can make barbecue, there is big table, benches to sit

Good value for money and nice location. Although it is next to the Main Street it is calm and silent. There is an own pool and sauna as well.

I didn't know what to expect before arriving here, but wasn't disappointed. I really liked the breakfast and dinners! There were lots of vegetarian options, home made products as well and nice palinka! :)

Children and dog friendly place. You can buy local, homemade specialities. For sure i want to come back there. Time is going much more slower in this grrat atmosphere

Very pleasent place ! In bungalow clear ( but it isn't new- a littel old). In the place is pool- it's in plus!Owners are very friendly. Bungalows are near beach!

To get to the Balaton lake you have to go out from the main entrance and after that walk about 800 metres. There is only one small spot where u can see Balaton and seat ( no for swimming)

Bungalow itself was not bad not good. They didn't provide us basic staff like sugar, soap, dish soap etc. , so it's better to take it with you. They speak German with English they have problems

Quiet place, summer season ends here with the end of August. You have to look farther for the place to eat something after 8 pm

One of the best places I have ever been! We were with my small family, the staff was nice and helpful both at the reception and in the restaurant! Nice clean room, games room well equipped with lots of games! The wellness area is also great with several pools with slides and a nice temperature! The food is very well prepared, delicious!! Will go again!

Many different activities for children (and adults with an inner child) as well as a quiet adult-only wellness section with sauna, swimming pool, jacuzzi and a fitness room to round everything off

Hotel has very nice outdoor pool for children as well as good indoor area. The two bedroom apartment was very large and comfortable. Good selection for breakfast and dinner too. Overall we had a great time.

Really nice place to spend a week or so, good for biking, and some watersport also. The property has a nice pool, we were spending a lot of time there

Nevertheless, the villa is clean, comfortable and has a great pool and very nice views of the Balaton and surrounding mountains

Very nice hotel and nice staff. They helped us with everything, even with the way to the train. The village is not the most beautiful one on Balaton, but you can use bikes of the hotel to explore the region.

Our family recommend the stay in Balatongyorok and hotel Villa Astoria with 'all ten fingers". It was pleasure to stay there and we will be happy to return to Villa Astoria and Balaton lake next time 😀

We got one medium sized towel for the whole stay and a literal table cloth for the pool/sauna which was absolutely useless, after asking we did not receive another towel we could use for the pool/sauna area

The room is only 3 stars but the dinner is royal! The hospitality perfect and the park is nice. There is inside pool which is also good.

The hotel location is pretty good. The rooms are very clean but could use a 21st century update. Unfortunately the towel policy is a bit odd

A ton of meat and one normal side and a veggie side with a salad bar. For dinner only tab water and breakfast some watered down juices. The prices for out of the package drinks is a bit high

If we knew about that, we would have brought our own! Food is… okay and edible. We had both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was better than dinner, there was no real variety at dinner

We have been coming to this restaurant for 20 years. The quality of the food is consistently good. Everything is freshly prepared and it can happen that a dish has run out. This shows me a fresh origin of the dishes

A lovely place in a very quiet area of Lake Balaton. The owner was very helpful with a particular problem. There is a very nice restaurant here also. The room was very pleasant, looking out over the Hungarian countryside

The best feature of Balatonbereny in general is the excellent beach by the campsite. Overall an interesting contrast to Siofok and Keszthely. Really rural Hungary for sure

I should add the train station is 500 metres away, so all Lake Balaton resorts and towns are easily within reach. One train an hour or every two hours to Budapest

Everything is great! Hospitable hosts. The room is great. Balcony. Everything in the kitchen is new. Balaton 10 min walk. Supermarkets are also 10 minutes away.

Very friendly hosts, pleasant, calm surroundings. Restaurant, beach, shopping center can be reached on foot in five minutes.

We are returning guests. We love being here. Super clean rooms await with fairy hosts who respond immediately to requests.

All for 5. There is also a swimming pool. Quiet street. To the beach about 10 minutes on foot, and to the city about 35 minutes. The room is tidy, the only thing missing is air conditioning.

Indoor parking in the shade and use of the small outdoor swimming pool with sun lounger and umbrella. Perhaps the only flaw is that the room completely lacks shower gel and phone. Anyway I recommend it to everyone!!

I stayed here 3 nights and had a great time. Kindness and availability of the owner impeccable. Breakfast buffet at the height of the structure. Maybe some local sweets are missing. You can have breakfast on the terrace
