Where to stay in Vonyarcvashegy

Klidné místo na konci uličky, nedaleko restaurace i cyklostezka, naproti pozemek s hřištěm, parkování hned u apartmánu, milá obsluha, pěkný čistý bazén i vířivka, dobrá snídaně s možností posezení venku. Apartmán pro 6 lidí byl dostatečně prostorný, rozkládací gauč dost velký i pro dva dospělé lidi, oddělená toaleta i koupelna.

Friendly staff. Places are large enough. The pool and whirlpools are really nice. The beach of the Balaton lake is about 15 min walking from the camping, this is a payed beach but worth a visit. The toilets and showers are clean enough. However, there is no hot water to do the dishes and the showers are also not really hot.

Good value for money and nice location. Although it is next to the Main Street it is calm and silent. There is an own pool and sauna as well.

For me magic place, wonderful owners, homemade breakfast, close to the balaton. Wonderful garden with pool, jackuzii, sauna -outside. You can make barbecue, there is big table, benches to sit. Children and dog friendly place. You can buy local, homemade specialities. For sure i want to come back there. Time is going much more slower in this grrat atmosphere.

I didn't know what to expect before arriving here, but wasn't disappointed. I really liked the breakfast and dinners! There were lots of vegetarian options, home made products as well and nice palinka! :)

Very nice accomodation and a family-like atmosfere. Amenities include breakfast, parking, Air conditioning, TV, mini-refrigerator, etc. Host (Mrs.Agnes) is friendly and helpful, with insightful hints about restaurants or places to visit. Enjoy and have fun!!

Hotel has very nice outdoor pool for children as well as good indoor area. The two bedroom apartment was very large and comfortable. Good selection for breakfast and dinner too. Overall we had a great time.

The hotel location is pretty good. Staff speaks German as well. The rooms are very clean but could use a 21st century update. Unfortunately the towel policy is a bit odd. We got one medium sized towel for the whole stay and a literal table cloth for the pool/sauna which was absolutely useless, after asking we did not receive another towel we could use for the pool/sauna area. Kakadu hotel is situated in a quiet piece of town. There is a gas-station approximately 100-150 meters away. The personnel was very nice and they spoke German and English. Breakfest is buffet type and I found it tasty. I can only recommend this hotel.

If it didn't cost a night in this guesthouse, how much it costed, I would say that it's a great guesthouse, but considering the high price, it's not worth it. The walls are very thin, every night someone will disturb you, and since there is no one at the reception at 10 pm, you have nowhere to complain. The place was so nice and quiet. The room was clean, fully remodeled and with new furniture (and it smelled SO good). Also, the recepcionist gave us a warm welcoming and she was so nice to us, which we were thankful for after a long trip.

The Outside doesn't look so nice, this is the first view! But if you meet the Girls by your Check-in, the are so friendly, you see your Room, nice and clean! You can walk in 5 minuets to the Lake Balaton, to visit the Beach, find a good spot to eat and much more. Also the Breakfirst was good, and the parking spot is direkt in front of the Hotel. I would like to Recommend it !

Short stay We stayed 2 nights, the location was excellent, breakfast was good, sadly the wifi was not good at all on the 2nd floor. I would recommend to friends just update the wifi for thr future please.

Spacious rooms and good beds in a sleepy area. There is a cafe and restaurant close, but hours of operation may vary. Short walk to the lake, parks, or center of town. More comfortable furniture than many resorts of this type.

Very pleasant English speaking staff, specially the owner Sanyi (read as Shanyi). The hotel is on the Lake with well kept loan and ladder to enter the Balaton lake. Walking distance are shops, bars and restaurants. I saw signs of a night club not far. The breakfast is good. The rooms are basic. So is the price. Excelent choice for the money.

It's a fair hotel with a fair price. I'd like to see that there's available WiFi in the hotel rooms but I wasn't so lucky.

Large, spacious resort. We got a nice, cosy, traditionally-styled house a few steps from the pool. Unfortunately, WLAN and Internet did not work in the house and even not in front of it. Only some 20 steps away WLAN worked.

Really great place. Warm and cozy apartments, pretty clean. Nice food, kind staff. It is about 15 minutes away from the Heviz centre. I guess it is much more interesting in the spring or summer, since there is much space for walking, running, playing sports, there is a big pool outside etc. I recommend the place and will consider coming again.
