I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a recent booking I made through your platform. The reservation amount displayed during the booking process was approximately ₪700, which I understood to be the total cost.
However, upon arrival at the hotel, I was charged ₪980 – a significant discrepancy of ₪280. It turns out that additional taxes or fees were added at the property, despite no clear indication of this during the booking process on your site.
This is misleading and unacceptable. The total amount shown at checkout should reflect the final amount to be paid – not a partial figure that causes surprise charges upon check-in.
I kindly request a full explanation and reimbursement for the overcharged amount. Please find below the booking.
I trust that Trip.com will take this matter seriously and process my refund promptly.

The Leonardo Plaza hotel is the only hotel for me when I visit Netanya. The property itself as well as its superb location by Independence Square and the beach is reason enough, but more importantly: the amazing staff. Fabrice and Yaron in the reception: you guys are outstanding in your service and friendliness and the reason I keep coming back. See you again!

Great place to stay - right in the heart of the action in Netanya. Pool is small sized si fun for kids, and has a toddler pool and stunning sea views. The service model is one of excellence, with the manager often walking round and chatting to guests. Staff seem happy and issues are addressed, even when things are busy. There are treats included eg surprise ice lollies by the pool and lobby snacks. Breakfast and shabbat dinner are standard for Israel and this price point of hotel, and nice/abundant
