Hotel Della Valle in Agrigento

Helpful staff, great location (About 10 mins walk to both the temples and Agrigento old town), bright room and decent breakfast buffet. Big pool but we didn't use it. We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant, too. Recommended!

We got a room upgrade and it was huge with a balcony overlooking the gardens but sparsely furnished. I don't know what standard rooms are like. Staff at reception were welcoming and helpful. In a good location for the Valley of the Temples and just a 15-minute walk up to the old town.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were so friendly and welcoming from start to finish. A special mention to Francesco at the pool bar—he was incredibly kind and helpful, always making sure we were well looked after.

The pool area was a peaceful, clean, and relaxing spot—perfect for unwinding. The hotel’s location is also ideal, just a short distance from the archaeological sites, which made exploring the area so easy.

Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choices and really good coffee—served from 7 to 10am, which gave us a nice, relaxed start to the day. We also had dinner in the hotel’s restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. Room service was spot on too!

We truly loved everything about this hotel and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Nice room clean but no kettle which was disappointing. Shower cubicle is average but at a strange angle. However the waiting staff made dining a pleasure. Nice choice of menu and pleasant staff

The location is amazing. It is literally only a 2 minute drive from the Valley of the Temples and maybe 5 or 6 minutes from the city center of Agrigento. There is also a cinema (open on the weekends) and a grocery store right next to the property.

The staff was incredibly helpful and polite. The breakfast was great, and the AC in our room worked incredibly well (too well for my wife but perfect for me, lol).

The gardens and pool at the hotel, along with the poolside bar and restaurant, were also very nice.

The price was also very good at about 80 usd a night. We had a great view of the grounds and gardens.

The ONLY bad thing was that the wifi kept dropping out every few minutes for several seconds, which made working difficult. I ended up using my providers international plan for the nights I needed to work.

Also, parking while available was difficult at night as the small sand lot filled up quickly, and you were forced to park Italian style (ie crazy double parked and blocking other cars in)... so I guess that's two drawbacks, but they were outweighed by the positives (for me, at least).

PROS: Location, the staff, breakfast, nice room, price.

CONS: Bad Wifi, Parking

I randomly ended up there to have a drink on my way to somewhere else. We just ordered 2 spritz and, for a reason that is beyond my understanding, the waiter went above and beyond serving us appetizers and bruschetta in quite a way (see picture). 30€ for 2 spritz, not cheap, but cannot give any else but 5 stars.
