2) The room with breakfast was booked, but the front desk made a mistake and asked to pay. It took half a day to confirm it. It was a waste of time.
3) The courtyard is beautiful and quite cost-effective
Room cleanish, bed good. Pillows terrible and only one supplied per person.
Dinner was alfresco besides the pool and including entertainment but was part great, part disgusting. The lamb was excellent however the vegetables were stewed to death.
The service was the worst I had experienced in a long time, apart from being rude and officious our first drink order was lost. After I complained they retook the order and then had the affront to charge me twice.
The staff was incredibly helpful and polite. The breakfast was great, and the AC in our room worked incredibly well (too well for my wife but perfect for me, lol).
The gardens and pool at the hotel, along with the poolside bar and restaurant, were also very nice.
The price was also very good at about 80 usd a night. We had a great view of the grounds and gardens.
The ONLY bad thing was that the wifi kept dropping out every few minutes for several seconds, which made working difficult. I ended up using my providers international plan for the nights I needed to work.
Also, parking while available was difficult at night as the small sand lot filled up quickly, and you were forced to park Italian style (ie crazy double parked and blocking other cars in)... so I guess that's two drawbacks, but they were outweighed by the positives (for me, at least).
PROS: Location, the staff, breakfast, nice room, price.
CONS: Bad Wifi, Parking
