Hotel in a great location, very attentive, polite, friendly and helpful staff, the chef is exquisite and very professional, the maitre d'oeuvre is always attentive to any needs, the clientele is suitable for this class, there is a guarded and monitored parking. Possibility to have breakfast, also in the large dining room, even under the magnificent land or at tables next to the beach located on a long promenade. Clean and always well-kept rooms, efficient air conditioning to suit your needs. Very beautiful and elegant place. Recommended . S. Tesauro

I have been staying here for the last 10 plus years. All the staff are new this year. They are trying their best at reception but they don’t really know what they are doing yet. I love this hotel. Sad to see all the old staff have gone especially the GM. Breakfast is good. The menu in the restaurant has gone up to €40 which l find outrageously expensive for what you get. The rooms are lovely. Not sure l will return after this visit which is sad.

Nice place to stay in Alassio
Nice old 4 star hotel with quite central location. Practically on the beach - and with spa.
As for most of the hotels in central Alassio, parking might be a challenge in the high season. ÷ on comfort since airco is date driven - not temperature. Good breakfast.

Does not live up to potential
Pool was closed when asked about it upon arrival. Probably due to lower season but no info regarding it. After some discussion they agreed we could use the jacuzzi in the spa for one hour.

Sofa bed was a disaster, too small for two ppl and crooked/broken.
Would need a general renovation or touch up.

Used valet service, no problems.

Have to highlight the fantastic breakfast and amazing view from the room balcony.

Traditional hotel.. just a couple of mins walk into main area of Alassio. Second stay and we’ll definitely be back again.

Katia at the front desk was great! My minimal use of Italian was fine because she spoke excellent English to explain check-in and the hotel's services. The room was well appointed and balcony overlooking the beach perfect! Hotel seemed to cater to older folks and repeat guests which was fine because we wanted a quiet spot and this was the place. Great location and walking distance to everything in Alassio. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, lunch at the beach restaurant quick, relaxing and delicious, and all the hotel and restaurant staff were very nice and accommodating. Noticed other guest reviews complaining about having to pay for beach chairs & umbrellas - knowing that is how it works in Italy that didn't bother us. Its an optional service. We had only intended on staying one night but luckily Katia found us accommodations for the second night, despite hotel being sold out on line. I highly recommend this property for a great stay in Alassio!

It was a raining evening so we opted to eat at the hotel. They only have a set menu, not so much variety. The food was tasteless and took a long time to serve. Waiters does not speak English, hard to understand the menu. If you want to enjoy your vacation, never ever go here.

The hotel is directly on the sea with private beach which belongs to the hotel. The rooms are quite ok in size, the bathroom even bigger. The breakfast is simple but very tasty. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I felt very comfortable. I can recommend it to others. Gladly again

Can't beat the location -- beautiful view. Higher price than expected for what you get. Best way to manage expectations is to envision a "geriatric holiday" complete with too many rules and insufficient air conditioning (I keep being told why the room is hot, not why the AC is insufficient); we know it is July and reserved a 4-star hotel with expectations for a functional, effective aircon. Meals are good quality, but strict times and seatings make it impossible to rest and enjoy a relaxed holiday -- you need to eat when the hotel says it is time -- breakfast at 10:15 am, no. Snack at 3 pm, no. Dinner at 9:00 pm, no. Summary -- beautiful but inflexible. Not appropriate for cosmopolitan guests.
