The Hotel Royal in Sanremo is a spectacular place to stay! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the elegant decor and the warm, welcoming staff. The rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished, and offer stunning views of the sea. The amenities are top-notch, including a fantastic pool area and an exquisite dining experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the heart of Sanremo. Our stay was truly exceptional—highly recommend for a luxurious and unforgettable experience!

As a discerning traveler with a penchant for luxury and comfort, my recent stay at The Royal Hotel Sanremo was a delightful experience. The hotel, with its rich history and prime location on the Tyrrhenian Sea, offers a unique blend of classic elegance and modern amenities.

Spa and Pool Experience
The spa was an absolute highlight, providing a serene escape with its exquisite treatments and tranquil ambiance. The pool, although showing its age, is a testament to timeless design from 1948. It is well-maintained and adds a touch of vintage charm to the property.

Culinary Delights
Breakfast at The Royal Hotel is nothing short of spectacular, arguably one of the finest in Europe. The selection is vast, catering to a variety of tastes, and the quality is impeccable. However, the breakfast service could benefit from additional staffing to enhance the overall experience. While the €18 ice cream at the pool and the room service prices are on the higher side, the quality of the offerings somewhat justifies the cost.

Service and Amenities
The service throughout the hotel is consistently lovely, with the turn-down service being particularly commendable. The staff's attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction is evident, making the stay truly worthwhile.

Dining Options
While the hotel's dining options are appealing, the surrounding area boasts phenomenal restaurants that are worth exploring. As such, I chose to forgo the hotel's dinner package in favor of experiencing the local culinary scene.

Tldr, The Royal Hotel Sanremo is an excellent choice for those seeking a luxurious stay on the Tyrrhenian Sea. Its combination of historical charm, exceptional breakfast, and attentive service make it a standout option.

Beautiful hotel. I loved the sea water pool! During dinner some child-care is offered and one evening there even was a magician (royal follies program). Sometimes it is mentioned that they have a sauna but it is a sanarium at 60C. The pizza is tasty but very salty. Unfortunately the choice of alcohol-free drinks is very limited and alcohol is just left out instead of being replaced by for example an alcohol-free gin.

A beautiful grand historic hotel set in a perfect location overlooking the Mediterranean. Service is excellent from the moment you arrive. Rooms are spacious and have breathtaking view.
One of kind pool with caves should you want to explore. The pool is heated and there are many sun chairs.

An Italian palace… everything was perfect: spacious room, very well equipped (Nespresso, snacks, linen, spa bathrobes…), impeccable service, fabulous breakfast (salty, sweet) with a view of the sea and vegetation…

This Hotel provides a 10 star Guest Experience! The entire staff is so friendly and fun! The accommodations are stunning and comfortable and the pool was gorgeous. Great location walking to beach and town! I want to return to Sanremo just to stay here again!

Obviously it's a 5*L hotel.
Your car is taken care of right at arrival, as well as luggages. Getting car back on depature was very quick.
Front desk very welcoming and fast for check in.
Rooms are huge with all expected confort.
Dinner is hotel restaurant terrace was great (and elevated price. Approximately 200€ for 2).
Breakfast buffet was nice but not overwelming. No fresh orange juice. Bred was not 'fresh'.
Hotel has many lounges, and a huge sera water pool outside facing the sea shore.
