Mare Hotel

Actually it is not 4 stars, it is ordinary 3 stars hotel. And very expensive for its price.

Family suit - small room with two beds standing close to each other. Unfriendly staff. They tried to charge city tax for 6-months baby and for 3 yo kid. No soundproof windows in room with view to street, so you'll hear all bikers and cars at night.

AC don't work.

Electricity did very bad, some lamps flashes at night - because of led switches. There are naked wires in safe lock.

Breakfast is more or less ok.

Rude, inconsiderate, and lukewarm. These are the words that can describe 95% of the staff at this hotel. When we reached the hotel by car, we wanted to park, and we got in the garage. A very mad woman came screaming saying that we should have waited at the entrance of the garage, but there was no sign. When asking a question “could you call someone to help us with the luggages”, she was almost like defying us with her tone of voice by asking back “to carry your luggages?”.

In the way out, a similar incident happened, so it looks like it’s systemic.

Food is okay. I’d give it a 2.5 cuz one can taste that the tuna was not of its best quality. Salad of tomatoes served in a hot plate. Breakfast only bread was good. Scrambled eggs, bacon, etc were almost like not edible.

View from rooms is charming but the room feels like a dark place.

The nice waterfront and cool beachclub unfortunately do not make up for the very unfriendly service - from the garage to the front-desk, to the restaurant- employees make you feel unwelcome, as if you are bothering them just for being there.

Breakfast is really poor - though the three restaurants were pretty good for dinner.

Rooms were comfortable and ample.

The overall bad taste is topped-up with the futuristic neon lights of the lobby.
