- There was not enough workers at breakfast time and a lot of people had to queue or stand and eat. Half an hour before closing time almost everything run short. The workers were doing great job.

+ The location is great. Short distance to railwaystation, busses, shops and restaurants. The room was clean, but there was only two cardboard mugs. The decent glass would have been nicer. After cleaning only one mug was left for 2 person and only one towel as well. Nice stuff. They gave us a nice room and also taxiservice was arranged -thank you!- There was not enough workers at breakfast time and a lot of people had to queue or stand and eat. I am deeply disappointed. I was hoping for 4 star treatment, I got services similar to student hostels. The room was heavily worn - furniture was damaged, lamps broken, ventilation not working (which is not nice in the middle of summer). Don't even dream of a well-functioning air conditioning! The service didn't take it seriously. She proposed to change the room immediately, which took place at 1 PM the next day. Immediately means after several dozen hours with no ventilation working, in a room where it is almost 30 degrees. The room was changed but only after strong insistence. They lie on the booking confirmation, it said that the full amount was paid with taxes, meanwhile the hotel asked for more charges. It's not fair! It is a pity, because the hotel is in a good place - near the train station, bus junction and close to the city center.

Very well located. Walking distance to funiculaire to Alto Bergamo. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Airco highly appreciated. Downside: reception staff was not very friendly nor helpful.

Despite giving ample notice for a change of dates or cancellation due to covid restriction, between booking.com and this hotel they've kept every penny of the booking we made but could not attend due to covid travel restrictions. Be careful.

Booked trough Booking.com a room for 39 euros a couple of weeks before arrival, in the booking conditions it was written "no prepayment is required. Payment on site at the hotel." After that, the hotel several times tried to write off money from my credit card and sent messages that my credit card is not valid and in the end it canceled the reservation on the day of arrival.
I called the hotel and was told that I needed to make a new reservation, which costs 70 euros. I made a new reservation using the SAME CREDIT CARD and this amount was successfully debited. In the end, the hotel just made me pay twice as much as the price I was booking at.
Wouldn't recommend it at all!

The rooms are mostly well-sized, even though they lack enough light. It's always dark in there. Some on the 4th floor are tiny!

Good location close to the rail and easy to get to Citta Alta. Room is a little dark. But good size and price. Helped me get a wall converter which I was glad they had for sale and at a decent price.

Conveniently located downtown. Clean. Decent breakfast. Competent reception desk personnel, speaking several foreign languages. Rooms on the top floor, being right under the roof, tend to get too warm, AC cannot really cope. The hot water flow fluctuating at rush hours.
