Where to stay in Bergamo

What an nice historic hotel with a very good location. You can see the walls in the breakfast room which are still having some old fresque. Room are spacious, hotel is charming, and we have been impressed by the kindness and the genuine touch of Fabio which is working in the hotel. What a peaceful place. I will go again next time in Bergamo.

Great location close to busses and Bergamo centrale station. Not all rooms has been renovated but the old rooms had their charm. Breakfast had a nice selection of cheese, meats and cakes. The cakes seemed a little old some of the mornings. Great place to stay for both business and leisure guests.

Probably the best hotel ratio quality/price in bergamo! Great modern design, great facilities, friendly staff. Definitely my home in Bergamo (don’t get fooled by the only 3 stars it has)

We’ve been here for one night. The hotel is in a convenient location. Close to the airport and to every thing in city center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was rather cheap so I guess that's what one should expect. The room we had was clean but it kind of resembled a basement, there is a window but only high on the ceiling which gave it an odd, cell-like vibe. Good hotel in a good location. During low season make sure the hotel knows how late you are coming, when we arrived there was no-one and door was closed. The room is very modern and good, with nice bed and shower. Parking at a location of the hotel for a fixed price, or in the streets (free from 7pm until 9am). You had better not take breakfast from the hotel, it is very poor. Instead eat next door...

Our room was small yet nice, cosy and clean. Owners suggestions for food must be taken ....he did suggest some really nice joints to us eat. Seemed very humble, helpful and nice. Very helpful hotel staff! Waited extra long for us to arrive in the late night. Nice and large suite with a view to the top of Bergamo.

Never felt more welcome. We decided last minute in the middle of July to stay in Bergamo and called ahead to check availability. Irene from La Castellana gave us an Appartement in the city and made us feel so very welcome. The apartment was in an old building great for genuine experience as well as within walking distance to Citta Alta. We can not recommend this highly enough!

Gombit Hotel is an excellent to experience Bergamo - located in the center of the city, walking distance to all attractions and local shops. The hotel staff was very kind, rooms were spacious, clean and very refined and updated. We had breakfast served in our room both night of our stay which was amazing. Breakfast was excellent, we would highly recommend staying at this hotel!

If you visit Bergamo old town this is the place to stay. No contest. Breakfast in your room. Huge rooms with comfortable couches and dining table. Close to everything. The staff was kind helpful and super conscious of being environmentally sound.

Uniquely styled and fun hotel in the heart of Citta Alta. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Having available garage parking was also an exceptional bonus considering the limited parking available for the area.

We stayed three nights and I’m sure we’ll meet again! Matteo is an extremely professional host, the apartment was in perfect condition throughout our stay. Clean, with daily supplements, towels and hygiene products. For a good price (10 eur), we have organized transfers to and from the airport. Nice bed and breakfast hotel only a walk away from the "upper city" Citta Alta. You can arrive by bus or with a taxi (about 20 €) from airport. Reception is open also at night, there are not many B&B's in the city with this option. The breakfast consists of bread, fresh fruits, yogurt, salami, cheese and coffee. Rooms have nice green backyards.

It's a little palace just off one of the main streets - far enough so you can't hear noise, near enough to be a 2 minute stroll. The rooms are big and really nicely done up, with a smart and big en suite bathroom. A really good breakfast is served at a time you choose. Best of all for someone as disorganised as me, arrival is flexible, as the door has a code, and registration can be done the next morning...

Entro le Mura is a beautiful Bed & Breakfast: the rooms are spacious and clean, the garden is a really relaxing place to stay in and the breakfast was awesome! The owners are really nice.

Great location in the city. Only 10 min from the airport. Room I was in was a bit dated. Good selection for breakfast. Staff helpful. A side note; taxis are very difficult to come by in Bergamo even when ordered by hotel. Order well in advance.

I had the best night sleep in this hotel after landing in Milan. My flight was cancelled and the wonderful Agnese in reception was able to accommodate my needs without any issues. Location is perfect too, only a 20 min bus ride from the airport. The bus stop it’s very close to the hotel too. Can’t recommend enough!

It was very nice, the hotel is located in the old city in Bergamo. You can take the bus number 1 from the airport and go to the hotel, there was only 5 min walk after taking off the bus. The room was nice and clean.

Great location and helpful personnel. Our room was placed on the first floor, behind the hotel, in a kind of patio. The room and the bath were almost in the dark. The location is great. Short distance to railwaystation, busses, shops and restaurants. The room was clean, but there was only two cardboard mugs. The decent glass would have been nicer. About a half block from the Bergamo train station - an easy walk even with heavy suitcases. The rooms are well laid out, the front desk is very helpful, and the bathroom is spacious. It was an excellent recommendation.

Well-placed hotel on the lower city main street. Right in front of the train station but surprisingly quiet. Nice recently refurbished rooms with quality materials. Beautiful view, nice service. The beers are quite expensive though, and the toilet experience, without a toilet seat nor toilet paper, is not exactly according to Michelin standards in my opinion.

What a place! Delicious, with a fantastic city view. Must-be-spot with incredibly creamy pistachio ice cream. Probably the best I've ever had in this part of the world.

An adventure. This place is on the top of citta alta, and it's like a prize when You finish your walking and want to eat something delicius. The price is okey for the high Quality, the service it's perfect and the food is really good. I will be back!
