Breakfast is great.
It's a hotel with a pool and sauna, but for all the time I've stayed, they were out of robes (in hotels with SPA It's the first time I didn't get one). There is a lot of noise from the street (I got room at 1 floor) and from the corridor.
The gym is good.
The hotel is very well located, the breakfast is very satisfying, and most important, the staff are always friendly and very helpful.
This is non sense, without booking.com you would have less reservations from the rest of the world of Italy. And from a discounted price I get nothing for 298.70€. You could easy have put the room back on sale when I first asked to cancel with the fee to be amended.
Update: I cancelled the room and been charged 298.70€ and they have put the room back on sale and with a little discount.
8days notice of Cancellation for 3 nights stay and they charge me 298€ !
Surely it is not political correct and doesn't show integrity from the management who hide behind a small policy which isn't a law.
I booked via booking and there is a no refund for cancellation applied by the hotel. It is a 3 nights stay for about 300€ from 7/03/25 to 10/03/25 and I have to cancel because of personal health concerns, as I am asthmatic I have to stay away from big city or where there is high pollution. I initially asked politely to cancel and I have been told that they keep 298€. It is not Booking.com fault but the hotel.
The manager is saying to his employees and concierge to tell me no refund in his behalf, and he doesn't reply by writing to my emails and messages. I had to take the phone and they keep saying that it was my fault and that if I cancel they keep a 298€ fee. I won't even step a foot inside the hotel l, nor drink a glass of water or nice Italian coffee, still it costs me 298€.
