We stay 3 nights, and were completly happy with the service , the cleannes and the treatement of the staff. The restaurante is good, a big variety of dishes, meat, pizza, pastas, seafood etc. The brakfast abundant and tasty.

It is very close to the Bergamo station, a 5-minute straight walk from the station. The amenities are simple (body soap & shampoo and a cotton bud). The room we booked was 16m2, but we felt more spacious. The staff were very kind, and the stay was pleasant.

What an nice historic hotel with a very good location. You can see the walls in the breakfast room which are still having some old fresque. Room are spacious, hotel is charming, and we have been impressed by the kindness and the genuine touch of Fabio which is working in the hotel. What a peaceful place. Beautiful view, nice service. The beers are quite expensive though, and the toilet experience, without a toilet seat nor toilet paper, is not exactly according to Michelin standards in my opinion.

Good hotel in a good location. During low season make sure the hotel knows how late you are coming, when we arrived there was no-one and door was closed. The room is very modern and good, with nice bed and shower. Parking at a location of the hotel for a fixed price, or in the streets (free from 7pm until 9am). You had better not take breakfast from the hotel, it is very poor. Instead eat next door...

Our room was small yet nice, cosy and clean. Owners suggestions for food must be taken ....he did suggest some really nice joints to us eat. Seemed very humble, helpful and nice. Very helpful hotel staff! Waited extra long for us to arrive in the late night. Nice and large suite with a view to the top of Bergamo.

Never felt more welcome. We decided last minute in the middle of July to stay in Bergamo and called ahead to check availability. Irene from La Castellana gave us an Appartement in the city and made us feel so very welcome. The apartment was in an old building great for genuine experience as well as within walking distance to Citta Alta. We can not recommend this highly enough!
