This is a lovely hotel situated in easy reach of everything you might want to do in Bergamo. A bus stop on either side of street for ease of getting to and from airport. You are also within 15 min walk to the entrance of cable car to old town.

The hotel is really great, but is not obvious how to reach on foot from Bergamo Centre. The facilities in the hotel are very good, the problem was a football team was also staying at the same time, which maybe distracted the hotel staff and meant certain things were closed off. It's a little palace just off one of the main streets - far enough so you can't hear noise, near enough to be a 2 minute stroll. The rooms are big and really nicely done up, with a smart and big en suite bathroom. A really good breakfast is served at a time you choose. Best of all for someone as disorganised as me, arrival is flexible, as the door has a code, and registration can be done the next morning...

the room didn't offer any drinking water as other reviews said. hotel door is very small, hardly to find it when arrive in the evening in dark. located in the city center, easy find good foods nearby. shower water is really good, no chance for breakfast, etc.

Excellent location. We had 401 and 402 top floor which had balconies. Perfectly placed hotel, nice rooms and bathrooms and good coffee with a large TV and small fridge in room. Entrance is through pin codes on a keypad and this worked seemlessy and was very easy to use. Definitely would stay again..

The room was very clean and had everything you might need like coffee/tea, shampoo, face washing set, etc. The only issue was the air conditioner, which was locked so the temperature couldn’t be changed

Just returned from 2 weeks in Italy. Bergamo was our first stop. The Gombit Hotel was recommended by friends and did not disappoint. Beautifully designed and decorated, small but exquisite breakfast, great location to explore the city, and wonderful staff.

We stay 3 nights, and were completly happy with the service , the cleannes and the treatement of the staff. The restaurante is good, a big variety of dishes, meat, pizza, pastas, seafood etc. The brakfast abundant and tasty.

It is very close to the Bergamo station, a 5-minute straight walk from the station. The amenities are simple (body soap & shampoo and a cotton bud). The room we booked was 16m2, but we felt more spacious. The staff were very kind, and the stay was pleasant.

The location is great. Short distance to railwaystation, busses, shops and restaurants. The room was clean, but there was only two cardboard mugs. The decent glass would have been nicer. The hotel environment is very good, located in the city center, it is very convenient for eating and traveling. Turn left and walk along the main road to the mountain, where there is an ancient town from the Western Han Dynasty.

It is quite old hotel and the bed is relative small.

Close to Train station and bus stop to Airport I stayed in a Single Room (417) on 4th floor which is very well decorated and functional. All the amenities in room are excellent. Only problem i had was being close to lifts you will hear humming noise every time when someone uses a lift, i would have tolerated that but there was a loud banging noise when the lift door opens and closes dusturbed my sleep...

Two memorable days in Bergamo We stayed for two nights at the Hotel Piazza Vecchia. It is ideally located right next to Bergamo old square, in the Main Street that is great for walking. We particularly enjoyed the large bathroom in our bedroom. The service was both attentive and competent. The free and flavorful breakfast was also a plus.

This was an amazing hotel. Getting there is a little tricky - best to have a small car. They have a parking garage that is worth using. Breakfast is amazing. Views are incredible. We booked a walking tour in old town through Viator and it was well worth it as he took us to views and site we never would have seen.

The hotel is accessed via one of the those enormous wooden gates which have a 'door within a door'. This gives access to a wide passage leading to the courtyard, the reception, and stairways to the hotel rooms. There was an elevator in the courtyard, but we did not see it operating.
