It is very close to the Bergamo station, a 5-minute straight walk from the station. The amenities are simple (body soap & shampoo and a cotton bud). The room we booked was 16m2, but we felt more spacious. The staff were very kind, and the stay was pleasant.

The location is great. Short distance to railwaystation, busses, shops and restaurants. The room was clean, but there was only two cardboard mugs. The decent glass would have been nicer. The hotel environment is very good, located in the city center, it is very convenient for eating and traveling. Turn left and walk along the main road to the mountain, where there is an ancient town from the Western Han Dynasty.

The location is very good, very close to the train station and very convenient to Citta Alta. However, the room is relatively small and the style is a bit old-fashioned. It's a little palace just off one of the main streets - far enough so you can't hear noise, near enough to be a 2 minute stroll. Close to Train station and bus stop to Airport I stayed in a Single Room (417) on 4th floor which is very well decorated and functional. All the amenities in room are excellent. Only problem i had was being close to lifts you will hear humming noise every time when someone uses a lift, i would have tolerated that but there was a loud banging noise when the lift door opens and closes dusturbed my sleep...

The staff is absolutely fantastic. Francisco, Rebecca, and Joanne are wonderful hosts. They helped with dinner ideas and reservations, not to mention setting up a great E-Bike tour of Bergamo. The hotel was in an excellent location but you had a set of quite steep steps to get to reception. There was also new pavement laying directly outside. My room was quaint but rather gloomy light wise. The bathroom was modern and good.

Two memorable days in Bergamo We stayed for two nights at the Hotel Piazza Vecchia. It is ideally located right next to Bergamo old square, in the Main Street that is great for walking. We particularly enjoyed the large bathroom in our bedroom. The service was both attentive and competent. The free and flavorful breakfast was also a plus.

This was an amazing hotel. Getting there is a little tricky - best to have a small car. They have a parking garage that is worth using. Breakfast is amazing. Views are incredible. We booked a walking tour in old town through Viator and it was well worth it as he took us to views and site we never would have seen.

When I asked at reception for some coffee and milk I was told there is a shop across the road that sells it. The hotel don't do it. Quarenghi16 is a beautiful place to stay in the lower city of bergamo. The accommodation is a short walk from the bus and train station and only 15/20minutes from the airport by shuttlebus. You are just around the corner from the shops and a short walk to the old town (upper town) which is beautiful with so much history and views of the town below and the surrounding countryside and the bergamo alps...

We spent 6 days using Bergamo as our base to visit the lakes and surrounding area. We pick Quarenghi for its location close to the main routes into and out of the city. It was a great choice! The apartment was decent size and there are coffee making facilities in the shared area.
