Amazing resort! Excellent overall experience - attentative staff, lovely rooms, beautiful pool and spa areas and very clean and well kept! If I could change 2 minor things - there was no outside / al fresco dining. We love having dinner on a terrace in the summer but bith restaurants were inside only. The house has a history of 1600 years. Italy is such a magical place. The room is very large and the ceilings are very high. It is very comfortable to live in. I will stay here again if I have the chance.

This a fantastic 13th century former castle near the airport (5 mins) reasonably priced. The staff are fantastic and one has just said taxi's are too expensive and is going to take us to the airport. That is real excellent service

We areived past the 10pm check in and they stayed for us which was great. The room was nice and the bed was comfy, but the air-con didnt work so was a very warm and uncomfortable first night in Italy. Breakfast was good with a good variety. The staff were all lovely and very helpful.

The hotel is easy to reach and has it’s own in-house parking. The outdoor recreation area and the pool area are exceptional. Pls consider that the area is used for weddings having an impact on your personal freedom as hotel guest. Otherwise the spot is an excellent choice.

I have been going to this business for some time, but I only enjoy the restaurant. The dining room has a huge fireplace equipped with side seating. It is very pleasant, in winter, to dine with the fire behind. The cuisine is simple, typical Umbrian and well prepared. You can also enjoy an excellent pizza. The value for money is good.

Small and quaint accommodation establishment located right outside Perugia, in a quiet setting with beautiful surroundings and views. Breakfast was very good and staff were very nice and helpful. The only drawback is that since it is an old building, there is no lift. For the rest, I would definitely recommend for those staying at Perugia.

We had the most amazing time and stay at the Castello and wished we stayed longer! Just to say we actually slept in a real castle is incredible!! The grounds and castle itself was amazing with so much to see. They had a great pool with hot tubs and the view of Peruigia from the pool and deck areas was stunning! This was my happy place. Just incredible to stay in a 14th century castle were the Templers lived. Just outside of Perugia. The inside and outside will blow your mind. The breakfast and staff were fabulous. Beautiful views, you name it. It had it all.

Absolutely gorgeous places, and wonderful staff. Still only 4 out of 5, because we suffered both nights a lot from the noise of our neighbors above; sleeping was possible only with ear plugs. We had a panoramic room (i.e., a rather expensive category), and still the noise isolation was almost non-existant. We would happily return, but inquire beforehand about a room with no noise problems.

Hotel located a few steps from Assisi and the major centers of interest in the Umbria region. Hospitable structure and spacious and welcoming rooms. The staff are helpful and friendly. We stayed at this hotel while on a Perillo tour. This was the 2nd hotel out of 3 on the tour. The hotel is large with a pool in the back and great views of Assisi up on the hill. It is not close to anything within walking distance, so you will need a car if you are not with a group. It has a restaurant on site with a breakfast buffet each morning and a spa. I did not visit the spa, so can't comment...

Convenient location, with an internal restaurant (the days I stayed it was closed for holidays), clean, attentive and courteous staff. It can be a very good accommodation to stay overnight in Perugia. The room was not very big but equipped with all the necessary comforts.

If you don't mind stepping back in time without any particular old-world charm, you'll be fine because this hotel offers good service (cleanliness, quality breakfast, and perfect maintenance). But hey, you have to like carpets on the stairs, cramped elevators, dark furniture, etc. At the same time, it's not a surprise, the photos speak for themselves.

Well placed local; excellent dishes from linguine and risotto, etc., to main courses of land and sea; all exquisite. Fair value for money; there can be waiting times with regards to pizzas, while for the first and second courses you wait a little longer ... I repeat, always good ... and it may be worth it. This hotel would greatly benefit from renovation. It's old. Breakfast was ok. The location is good. The very helpful front desk people said you can go to Perugia on foot, but the climb is quite steep. As an alternative driving to the closest parking is about 5 minutes.

Hotel is in the midst of nature. Two bus stops away from city centre. Its very good value. For money. Not ideal for people who have mobility problems. Hotel offers a good bfast and has a restaurant. One needs to use taxi for getting tovtrain station.

Romms are vey very standad. Breakfast is good, I found that a 3 or 4 stars in Italy are just a matter of price but not quality. For me, it needs a lot of repairs and improvement details to be a 4 star. Air conditionning was not working.
