Beautiful hotel and friendly staff! The views are stunning but the location is a logistical head ache without a car. They offered a transfer service that is a very short car ride I later learned isn’t complimentary…5 euros every time isn’t bad but when the Funicular was down it totally derailed my travel plans.

I would never book through this site again, it is very expensive for what it actually offers, the room was moldy and the toilet seat was broken. Not recommended for older people as there is no elevator!!!

We stayed in Hotel Paradiso for 6 nights as a family with a small child. The hotel is a small but very personable place. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome there. The pool was a hit for our kid as she can stay in water all day and the view from the pool/patio is amazing. It was below expectation than what been described . Poor breakfast and location was not easy reach with hotel charged for each trip to funnicular station. Room was not we had booked and only had partial lake view.

Staff went out of the way to help and the view from my room made mynjaw drop open. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna were great also with an amzing view and the restaurant was top notch. It is a bit far from the center in Como and have to take the funicular (taxis are expensive) but totally worth it for the view. I would come again felt like a Queen.

Very friendly staff that serves you excellently. Rooms are spacious, clean and all you need. Silence is a luxury these days, I mention it as we had a peaceful night of sleep.Breakfast is basic sweet Italian.

The hotel just re-opened after a major renovation and is now a 3-star hotel. Everything is new and completely clean. Rooms have air condition. The staff is very friendly and the location is quiet even though you are only a 3 minute walk from lake Como and the many restaurants and bars. The hotel has a private parking for guests. We have just returned from an amazing time here. The place is lovely, full of Italian charm. The hotel is so close to the funicular and the ordinary railway it’s a great base to stay in. Chiara our host on reception was incredibly helpful, pleasant and funny. Breakfast was great and as much as you wanted. The view from the bedroom is unreal. Would go back tomorrow if I could!

While navigating the roads is daunting and parking should be arranged with the hotel (and costs extra), it is easy to reach this hotel by Funiculare. The rooms were clean and the views were amazing. State at Vista Lago as a family of four on our way travelling back through Italy to the UK. We loved the area and the stunning views really made the trek up the mountain roads worth it. Hotel is clean and had all the facilities we needed as well as fans for the warm weather. The room was small but clean. The location is fantastic: close to the train station, shops, the ferry, and the funicular railway. The food at the hotel was good, as was the service.

Super convenient location, right by the funicular train and the main boat dock. Tons of restaurants and bars nearby. The breakfast is a good deal and the staff is super friendly. Special note for the excellent service from Rakib!

It was lovely to see the Lake our of your front window and balcony. We did cram 4 adults in one room (2 parents / 2 teens) so it was tight, but we knew that going in.

The hotel is located quite far from town the distance isnt great but the waybup is difficult. The staff service is excellent. The hotel is quite old but fairly clean. If hotel can be renovated would been better. There are parking but limited

Enjoyed a great family lunch in the restaurant. The staff was really nice and the food was great. I recommend trying the local polenta meals! Also tried some risotto which was very well cooked. Overall a great experience which I recommend to anyone visiting Brunate!

Originally we had planned to stay in Como but I was put off by an unwelcoming host so booked Locanda Milano at the last minute. I was so glad we switched as the owner and his staff could not have been warmer and more accommodating. The hotel is not five star but is clean and homely and the food was wholesome and delicious. Lovely place on top of the mountain overlooking Como Lake. Owner operated & it shows …. Staff terrific & super helpful. Close to the Funicular Train straight to Como waterfront. Some of the best food I’ve ever had, such a stunning location, and I don’t think the staff could have been any more accommodating or friendly truly if your in lake como this is a must and it gave me and my friends a very pleasant memory. The price wasn’t overly expensive not cheap but I’d say 100% worth it

We were a group of 16 people and the owners picked us up and drove us to the restaurant from the funicular. The view, the setting for dinner, the staff and the food were all sensational. Thoroughly recommend going and make arrangements for them to pick you up.

This quiet and tranquil place was absolutely stunning for dinner with a sunset. Good food in an idyllic setting and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend for a meal and there’s a lovely little hotel for those looking for something different and a little out of the way.

We didn't stay here but went for dinner with a reservation. They picked us up from the top of the Funicular, and brought us to their "home". It's a hotel with crazy amazing views. The food was very rustic and delicious, and the service was fabulous. If you are staying in Como area, make the trek, but reserve ahead and ask for a pickup at the top of the funicular.

I have never eaten such good Fiorentina, not to mention the first courses! Spotlessly clean rooms and family-run staff who make you feel at home, highly recommended!!! We visited Venice, Como and Milan, and this restaurant at the top of Brunate was the highlight of our trip. First, you have to take the funicular to Brunate. Then you have to hike to the lighthouse. From there you can either stop for a drink/food or keep going on a wide trail through the trees and along houses. The whole hike is quite exhausting, but the view from this restaurant is well worth it....

Bellavista is a perfectly restored traditional Italian Hotel with a long standing history in Brunate and lives up to its reputation. The setting of the hotels restaurant is simply amazing with views across Como Lake and snow peaked mountains of Switzerland. The sunset over these mountains is just fantastic. My husband and I were recommended this place while we were on our honeymoon. He had the duck pasta and I had the boar ragu. It was one of the the best pastas we’ve ever had and we still talk about it. You know it’s good when it lingers in your mind and palate. Extraordinary place with a spectacular view on Como and the lake. We only ate there but it was a magnificient moment and a tasteful meal. They have a lot of vegetarian choices and even replaced meat with potatoes. I would definitely come back again to have the view in winter. :)

Walked 20 minutes up the mountain just to come to this restaurant. Website hours stated they were open, but the gate was locked when we got here. The view is beautiful overlooking Lake Como. The food and drinks are affordable, it was super busy because it was the only restaurant with a view that was open during the siesta. The food was nice, the wine and the cocktail was even better. The staff was also very nice.

10/10 vibes. Absolutely fantastic views. Honestly one of the best places to visit if you're going to Como. The only down side is that you need to take the funicolare to get up the mountain, unless you have a car or the stamina to walk up a 500 meter tall mountain. Will visit again!

Popped in a couple of times whilst staying in Brunate to enjoy the fantastic view, friendly staff and a cold beer, lovely little spot, would recommend a visit if you have the chance.

We stayed here a few years ago, and would stay again if I'm in the area. The host were more than hospitable, and when out of their way to make us as comfortable as possible.

Basic but neat. Small and cozy. Perfect for transit but not with camper or caravan due to 4 km of narrow steep road to location.

Very unique B &B. Have to stay to feel that spirit of it. Location and road to property very extreme, but scenery compensates everything. Decent size room, comfortable bed, clean all around.
