My husband and I were recommended this place while we were on our honeymoon. He had the duck pasta and I had the boar ragu. It was one of the the best pastas we’ve ever had and we still talk about it. You know it’s good when it lingers in your mind and palate. Highly recommend the pasta in this restaurant it’s cooked with a traditional flair but the flavours are exceptional. Thank you for this highlight

Extraordinary place with a spectacular view on Como and the lake. We only ate there but it was a magnificient moment and a tasteful meal. They have a lot of vegetarian choices and even replaced meat with potatoes. I would definitely come back again to have the view in winter. :)

The couple who owns the restaurant are absolutely delightful. They were extremely kind, very funny, and patient with our large group. The food was affordable and delicious. I highly recommend any of the dishes with polenta. Sometimes it pays to go off the beaten path.

Initially, we wanted to stay for one night. However, we ended up staying for two nights because we liked the location. The food, meaning the gnocci, was great. The room had everything we needed. In addition, the owner and his family were super friendly. Highly recommended.

Beautiful view on the mountain in Como. Convenient location via the tram plus 20 mins walk. Very very good food, selection of wine and friendly host. If you decided to stay, this is also a hotel with clean, comfortable bed in white sheets and all the essentials, breakfast included. The host will take care of you so well that you feel like home away from home.

When my friend heard that I’m visiting Milan, he said that he had the best carbonara in his life here and recommended me to definitely try it in this restaurant. And he was right. It was completely different from what I had experienced in Italian restaurants in Amsterdam. The food and the service was excellent and you can enjoy the quietness and view.

We visited Venice, Como and Milan, and this restaurant at the top of Brunate was the highlight of our trip. First, you have to take the funicular to Brunate. Then you have to hike to the lighthouse. From there you can either stop for a drink/food or keep going on a wide trail through the trees and along houses. The whole hike is quite exhausting, but the view from this restaurant is well worth it....

It is a very nice place away from the noise with the tranquility of the mountain, the site is spectacular with impressive views, the owner is a very kind woman and has many details with her guests, it is an ideal place.

Great hosts. Spacious and very well equipped house. 5 minutes from Como by car, free parking nearby and funicular connection to the center of Como. Perfect as a base to visit the Lake and its villages.

Wonderful place

We stayed here in Summer of 2019, I noticed I never left a review. It was fantastic for myself, wife and daughter. Private guesthouse on estate grounds, amazing pool and property, the nice walk to funicular takes you to all the crazyness of town and tourism, but you feel secluded here. Can't wait to come again!

A perfect piece of Italy! The view was gorgeous. Everything about the stay was simple, the house was clean and also private. We loved the pool, and especially how close it was to the funicular... so easy to get to and from Como.

Very unique B &B. Have to stay to feel that spirit of it. Location and road to property very extreme, but scenery compensates everything. Decent size room, comfortable bed, clean all around.

Nice place with amazing view. We spend there only one night, but we had a great time. Room was clean and cozy, brakfast good and we received also a suprise wine at the end of our stay.

The hotel just re-opened after a major renovation and is now a 3-star hotel. Everything is new and completely clean. Rooms have air condition. I've been in the most recomendable 5 stars hotel but I'd rather stay one night at the Paradiso Hotel than in any other hotel in the Como area. Just the most beautiful and amazing hotel we have ever been to. It’s a proper family run hotel and every single person there is friendly, happy and just wants to help you enjoy your stay. A perfect location with exceptional hosts. I booked this hotel as soon as I saw the views over Lake Como. The hotel is Family run and you can tell straight away that they care about their guests. The hotel offers a much appreciated free transfer service from the Funicolare, I didn't realise this on my first trip up the hill in the rain... Clean and decent and in a good central location. Breakfast is basic continental with helpful staff. Good for kids. Family room is out of the main hotel without air conditioning but there is a fan. 2 nights cost us €440 plus taxes.

Stayed here for two nights solo, and aside from the small and simple room, enjoyed my stay. It was quiet, offered breakfast for €15 (simple, and a little overpriced for the offering), and has a restaurant for other meals. Amazing peaceful place, where we had rams to visit us for breakfast twice! Beautiful shy creatures who made the stay even more special. Host was extremely friendly and helpful. Trust his advice with dining etc, but in particular listen to his tip about the size of your car,an suv will not make it up there ;-)! Would come back any time.

The apartment is very beautiful, the furniture is clean, and the owner of the apartment is a very wonderful person... but the location is very high and the road is very bumpy.

The perfect lunch spot, slightly tucked away but with the most breathtaking views of the lake, great drinks and delicious home-made Italian food. Reasonably priced and the couple running it are lovely. Would definitely return!

Walked 20 minutes up the mountain just to come to this restaurant. Website hours stated they were open, but the gate was locked when we got here. The view is beautiful overlooking Lake Como. The food and drinks are affordable, it was super busy because it was the only restaurant with a view that was open during the siesta. The food was nice, the wine and the cocktail was even better. The staff was also very nice.

10/10 vibes. Absolutely fantastic views. Honestly one of the best places to visit if you're going to Como. The only down side is that you need to take the funicolare to get up the mountain, unless you have a car or the stamina to walk up a 500 meter tall mountain. Will visit again!
