The hotel is located quite far from town the distance isnt great but the waybup is difficult. The staff service is excellent. The hotel is quite old but fairly clean. If hotel can be renovated would been better. There are parking but limited

Enjoyed a great family lunch in the restaurant. The staff was really nice and the food was great. I recommend trying the local polenta meals! Also tried some risotto which was very well cooked. Overall a great experience which I recommend to anyone visiting Brunate!

Originally we had planned to stay in Como but I was put off by an unwelcoming host so booked Locanda Milano at the last minute. Some of the best food I’ve ever had, such a stunning location, and I don’t think the staff could have been any more accommodating or friendly truly if your in lake como this is a must and it gave me and my friends a very pleasant memory. The price wasn’t overly expensive not cheap but I’d say 100% worth it

We were a group of 16 people and the owners picked us up and drove us to the restaurant from the funicular. The view, the setting for dinner, the staff and the food were all sensational. Thoroughly recommend going and make arrangements for them to pick you up.

This quiet and tranquil place was absolutely stunning for dinner with a sunset. Good food in an idyllic setting and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend for a meal and there’s a lovely little hotel for those looking for something different and a little out of the way.

We didn't stay here but went for dinner with a reservation. They picked us up from the top of the Funicular, and brought us to their "home". It's a hotel with crazy amazing views. The food was very rustic and delicious, and the service was fabulous. If you are staying in Como area, make the trek, but reserve ahead and ask for a pickup at the top of the funicular.

We have just returned from an amazing time here. The place is lovely, full of Italian charm. The hotel is so close to the funicular and the ordinary railway it’s a great base to stay in. Beautiful hotel and friendly staff! The views are stunning but the location is a logistical head ache without a car. They offered a transfer service that is a very short car ride I later learned isn’t complimentary…5 euros every time isn’t bad but when the Funicular was down it totally derailed my travel plans.

Staff went out of the way to help and the view from my room made mynjaw drop open. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna were great also with an amzing view and the restaurant was top notch. It is a bit far from the center in Como and have to take the funicular (taxis are expensive) but totally worth it for the view. I would come again felt like a Queen.

The hotel just re-opened after a major renovation and is now a 3-star hotel. Everything is new and completely clean. Rooms have air condition. It was lovely to see the Lake our of your front window and balcony. We did cram 4 adults in one room (2 parents / 2 teens) so it was tight, but we knew that going in.

Lovely place to stay in Como. Very close to the historic city centre but quiet and it has a stunning view into a private garden. The rooms of the urban villa are modernly renovated in style. The property was close to the town and we felt secure. The owner was friendly and helpful and the property was spacious and clean. Due to it's location to the eateries it can be a little noisy til fairly late. But as a whole we enjoyed our stay in Lake Como.

Perfect Como Stay We had a fantastic stay at L'Approdo di Sant'Agostino. It is located in the perfect position for town, the ferries, the Brunate funicular and public transport. This was a lovely room very close to everything. The only drawback was the noise that went late into the night with the men laughing and drinking at the bar underneath the room and began early in the morning with the workers emptying the large amounts of glass bottles from the night.

Wow one of the most beautiful BB I've seen in Italy. It's a gem. Location is on the spot just a short walk from the old town. Parking is available which is a big plus. The owner is friendly and gave us excellent recomendations. Mostly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at this Bed and Breakfast in Como. Perfect location near the old town and very close to the Lake. Giampi was a wonderful host and steered us to two of the best restaurants we could have imagined . . . both within walking distance in the cobbled streets of old town Como. Sadly we weren’t able to access the rooms as they had water damage from rainfall the day before. But they had already booked us a new hotel and arranged transport for us, everything paid for! Went there with friends on Saturday night last month. Such a beautiful building and great location. We found nice staff and it has lots of options in the menu. All of us ended up enjoying our plates so much. There are few vegetarian options, the one I had (don’t remember the name) it was so good. Really recommended!

Older building with charm. The room was very small, asked for an iron, and they brought a board that wouldn't fit in the room. No extra toiletries aside from soap, shampoo, etc. I'm not sure if it was location on Lake but kept getting bit by mosquitos inside and on deck area. Nice location on the lake. Unfortunately our room's two windows faced the wall of the building next door and the parking area of the apartments behind. Location as others have said is very convenient to the ferry, Cathedral, restaurants, main harbor and shopping. Air conditioned which is a plus. There is a musty mildew smell at first (guess to be expected with heat and humidity) but room is very clean. 20 minutes downhill walk from train station. Rough with luggage. Take bus back.
