Hotel Asnigo with its manicured outside area, is an idyllic hotel tucked in the mountain and overlooking beautiful Lake Como. Friendly, nice staff always ready to assist. Lavish breakfast is a good way to start the day. Dinner is equally lovely. Dining area overlooks a very inviting pool. Room with a view is highly recommended.

The only thing you get from paying big money in this hotel is a balcony with an amazing view of the lake, a beautiful view at breakfast and friendly staff in general. Very lovely welcome by the owners themselves. Fabulous big rooms furnished with alot of love and style. Only 5 min car drive from wonderful Lucca. We spent only one night and were sad we had to leave. Stay here at least 2 nights and explore the surroundings. Pisa and Lucca are close.

The view is the only thing that made this hotel a good stay. The food at the restaurant was snack sized. Parking is €25 a night, and if you leave your parking space you are not guaranteed to have the space you paid for. The rooms are small and not clean. Soundproofing in the rooms is terrible. You can hear even how fly farts in the room next to yours. We were unlucky, while we stayed, in the next room was a couple who probably hadn't seen each other for a long time.... Rooms small. Washrooms old. But fine. Service good. Personal nice. Breakfast is good enough. It costs a lot, but you pay mostly for the view.

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel! The room was excellent, and I was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade. The breakfast each morning was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. Great location in the center of Cernobbio. A few steps from Como and the famous Lake. The owners are very nice and professional. The rooms are quite large and comfortable. Presence of wi-fi and parking space. In the surrounding area there are excellent clubs, pizzerias, restaurants and bars-pastry shops.

Food is of a good standard. Lovely garden, quiet romantic. Value for money. Service is professional but friendly. Recommended.

Disappointed based on other reviews. I guess from them that this restaurant is great for pizza but the fish main course we had whilst substantial was just big plate of calamari - ok if that’s what you were expecting but for EUR28 we were hoping for something more balanced.
