It’s a old hotel and I’m not sure how it qualifies for 4 stars. I had to kill 2 bugs in the one night we stayed there. Room was cold and thermostat system was not switching to hot air. They do not have irons in the rooms for safety reasons (in the US even 3-star inns have irons in each room) and you need to go down to level 1 where they have an ironing room to iron your clothes. Lovely little hotel with all the right amenities, warm and friendly service, and superbe location right at the Moltrasio ferry pier. With an award winning restaurant in-house and several cafes and restaurants nearby it's the perfect Como Lago getaway for a relaxed weekend or lakeside stopover.

This hotel was perfectly located in Moltrasio. Right across the street from the ferry which takes you to all the little towns along Lake Como. The restaurant was amazing for dinner with delicious food and incredible service. It included breakfast which was really well done and had everything you could ask for! Rooms were large and clean. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing beats a classy family owned hotel….the perfect place to stay on the water’s edge at Lake Como. The staff were excellent and provided great knowledge as to what to see and do. La Darsena di Riva Grande is located right on the lake in beautiful Moltrasio. (Just a 15 minute taxi ride from the Como train station) You can walk to many great restaurants, a gelataria and the ferry station in under 10 minutes. Sabrina was a very nice host, enough espresso in the kitchen and welcome drinks. Couple of good restaurants close by, ferry station 5 min. by foot. You can also hike in Moltracio, if you are lucky, public parking directly in front of the house.

The Taverna Del Giglio: the ideal starting point for exploring Lake Como and its renowned city. The tradition of the village perched on the western shore and with a breathtaking view, meets the typical Mediterranean hospitality. The service is excellent, concrete and genuine. The apartment is practical, functional, immediate and sincere. Absolutely recommended to all visitors to the Lario.

Great B+B, great service and rooms, garden directly on the lake, including access to the lake. Everything is very well maintained, and the landlords are also great.

Accommodation in a spacious house next to the villa. (Apartment above the garage) Parking for one car inside and another on the narrow road. Pleasant garden and sitting by the Lake. Breakfast prepared in the evening in the fridge and on the table. So breakfast in the privacy of the apartment. About 700m to the boat stop and restaurants.

Lovely B&B in Carate Urio just a few km north of Como. Easily accessible from the autostrade, but far enough away to be able to enjoy the peace and quiet. Faboulous breakfast served in the garden with freshly baked goods and homemade jams. Great views of the lake from the room.

Disappointed based on other reviews. I guess from them that this restaurant is great for pizza but the fish main course we had whilst substantial was just big plate of calamari - ok if that’s what you were expecting but for EUR28 we were hoping for something more balanced.

Soundproofing in the rooms is terrible. You can hear even how fly farts in the room next to yours. We were unlucky, while we stayed, in the next room was a couple who probably hadn't seen each other for a long time.... Rooms small. Washrooms old. But fine. Service good. Personal nice. Breakfast is good enough. It costs a lot, but you pay mostly for the view.

Lovely spot in the heart of Cernobbio. Can walk to the park at the waterfront and hop on the ferry to any spot on Lake Como. It was spotless, the people were super friendly and helpful (and humored me for trying to speak Italian). I was with my wife last weekend in the Cernobbio residence, on the occasion of the visit to Lake Como, excellent location of the residence, very helpful owner, perfect cleanliness of the rooms and price in line with expectations and spacious rooms, excellent check-in and check-out times, possibility of parking in front of the residence at €5 per day

Slow and inefficient- one waiter for entire dining room until another arrived. Waiter kept apologizing for service. Also had to contend with loud wedding party filling the entire dining room and lounge area until 7pm.

Amazing views. It is quite high and it’s a steep walk so unless you are happy walking over a km at incline, perhaps look for another spot.
