It’s a old hotel and I’m not sure how it qualifies for 4 stars. I had to kill 2 bugs in the one night we stayed there. Room was cold and thermostat system was not switching to hot air. They do not have irons in the rooms for safety reasons (in the US even 3-star inns have irons in each room) and you need to go down to level 1 where they have an ironing room to iron your clothes. This hotel was perfectly located in Moltrasio. Right across the street from the ferry which takes you to all the little towns along Lake Como. The restaurant was amazing for dinner with delicious food and incredible service. It included breakfast which was really well done and had everything you could ask for! Rooms were large and clean. Soundproofing in the rooms is terrible. You can hear even how fly farts in the room next to yours. We were unlucky, while we stayed, in the next room was a couple who probably hadn't seen each other for a long time.... Rooms small. Washrooms old. But fine. Service good. Personal nice. Lovely spot in the heart of Cernobbio. Can walk to the park at the waterfront and hop on the ferry to any spot on Lake Como. It was spotless, the people were super friendly and helpful (and humored me for trying to speak Italian). Beyond All Expectations! This hotel is truly a gem located just a short walk from the lake and the Cernobbio ferry station. The rooms are large and comfortable and the lobby is beautifully decorated. The best part, however, is the amazing family that runs the place. I could not recommend this place more!

Home from home away atmosphere and the friendly demeanour of the family running the business made us feel comfortable and helped us with a few tricky issues we encountered. The location is quite remote, requiring a noisy highway to reach the lake. The lakeside area isn't very close to the Lihu Scenic Area, and the facilities are old. The hotel reception looks amazing but they seemed to have stopped the renovations at the room. They look old and have a lot of signs of usage. The bed and sheets are great however. They offered a transfer service that is a very short car ride I later learned isn’t complimentary…5 euros every time isn’t bad but when the Funicular was down it totally derailed my travel plans.

We didn't stay here but went for dinner with a reservation. They picked us up from the top of the Funicular, and brought us to their "home". It's a hotel with crazy amazing views. I was in and out of Italy a several times, Hotel Villa Flori is definitely one of the best hospitality I have ever had! The hotel left us with mixed feelings. We arrived much earlier than the check-in time and wanted to leave our bags at reception. Nice stay at this small hotel on the shores of Lake Como. Good value for the price, unobstructed views of the lake, clean, and great service. The additional fee for breakfast is almost a must, as there is not much else around. This is the perfect place to come relax on the lake for a few days. Ristorante Vapore was also very good!

The price wasn’t overly expensive not cheap but I’d say 100% worth it

Location is good. But that’s there is to it. Service and hospitality is very rundown since the hotel can be sold itself.  Very touristy. Not for romantic getaway. Average 3 star hotel, not worth the money.

Nice location on the lake. Unfortunately our room's two windows faced the wall of the building next door and the parking area of the apartments behind. There apparently was no air conditioning but the weather was nice. Breakfast was served in a very nice room. The staff were all very courteous and helpful.

Absolutely love this hotel. They treat you so well and make your stay very pleasurable. From sitting out front and watching the ferries come and go, to having a great meal served up. I can't recommend them enough. Their Breakfast buffet is amazing and very fresh. The coffee is exceptional and all served with a smile!

Good location, but would not stay here again. There are better options nearby. There is no gym and the room is small. There is a nice bar next door, but it plays loud music all night. Good breakfast

Older building with charm. The room was very small, asked for an iron, and they brought a board that wouldn't fit in the room. No extra toiletries aside from soap, shampoo, etc. I'm not sure if it was location on Lake but kept getting bit by mosquitos inside and on deck area. Additionally, the linens were dirty and asked for them to be changed.

We stayed three nights in a room advertised for lake view. The actual view is half blocked by a tree. This is very disappointing considering the images at the website. There was a huge bug on bed sheets and blonde hair noted on towels before we started using them. Lastly the hairdryer was broken. A nice hotel overall with excellent service, and a great breakfast. Although we didn't try the bistro, it looks very promising. The building is old and outdated however, and beside noisy plumbing, it's not a big issue.

It is actually a B&B with a history of more than 100 years. It has a good location, very close to Lake Como, quiet in the bustling city, and typical European small town scenery. There are many restaurants and bars in the town, and there is also a large supermarket open 24 hours a day.

A good hotel for unpretentious guests with a great location. If you are content with little, and all attention is on the natural beauty and architecture of Como, then take this hotel.
