We were a group of 16 people and the owners picked us up and drove us to the restaurant from the funicular. The view, the setting for dinner, the staff and the food were all sensational. Thoroughly recommend going and make arrangements for them to pick you up.

This quiet and tranquil place was absolutely stunning for dinner with a sunset. Good food in an idyllic setting and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend for a meal and there’s a lovely little hotel for those looking for something different and a little out of the way.

1. getting to the hotel was incredibly difficult - and potentially dangerous 2. reservation was cancelled by property ( they needed the room for a wedding ) excuse was “you have no money on credit card “ funny, the half dozen reservations made on the same card in the days immediately before and after had no issue 3. owner was rude - it was clear we were usurped for the ongoing wedding

I booked the room several months in advance. 3 days prior to my stay they sent an email cancelling my reservation without explanation. I was unbale to reach them and forced to find another hotel and overpaid due to the short notice. Totally unacceptable.

We didn't stay here but went for dinner with a reservation. They picked us up from the top of the Funicular, and brought us to their "home". It's a hotel with crazy amazing views. The food was very rustic and delicious, and the service was fabulous. If you are staying in Como area, make the trek, but reserve ahead and ask for a pickup at the top of the funicular.

I have never eaten such good Fiorentina, not to mention the first courses! Spotlessly clean rooms and family-run staff who make you feel at home, highly recommended!!! Rich breakfast, space cappuccino!one guest from USA behaved very badly towards the staff by threatening them for no reason . I really appreciated the behavior of the staff!

We had a lovely last evening of our holiday at this restaurant! The view is truly spectacular, and we thought everywhere we dined had amazing views but this was something else. Food was great, probably the best pasta we had during our holiday, the wine was also great. Everyone who served us was super friendly, and we really appreciated Alberto (think that was the name) going the extra mile to save us attempting the walk back to the funicular!

I stayed for one night in the hotel and it was an incredible place, 18th century building with very comfortable rooms and good amenities. Free wifi available. The food that the restaurant serve is phenomenal. It’s a family business and the owner and his family are extremely welcoming and adhere to your every need. There is free parking available, but if you didn’t have a car like me, it was quite tricky to get to via taxi, you could walk it from Brunate, but expect quite a walk. I saved the best thing until last and that’s the view. The view is breathtaking and having dinner outside is an amazing experience. Not to mention the view from your room window and balcony. I will be going back, strongly recommend.

Breathtaking view! The small road to come there is quite a challenge but there must be an easier way I think. The personnel is very friendly and gives you a warm welcome. The food, wine and breakfast are very good! Very quiet and authentic place you must visit?

Amazing location with a fantastic view. This is a family owned business, and I can only recommend this place if you are looking for a quite and cozy restaurant with breathtaking views. Also, this was a recommendation of our local hosts, so if you want to have a local experience - there is no better place.

They also have a few rooms, and we’ll be staying here the next time we come to lake Como. Just an amazing escape from the big city life.
