The location is quite remote, requiring a noisy highway to reach the lake. The lakeside area isn't very close to the Lihu Scenic Area, and the facilities are old. The bathroom sliding door is a struggle to close, and it doesn't close properly. It's a very old hotel. The hotel reception looks amazing but they seemed to have stopped the renovations at the room. They look old and have a lot of signs of usage. The bed and sheets are great however. But you can feel the hotel had a lot of usage. The fact there’s no view or access to the water was a big issue for us. On the bright side the service was exceptional.

Overall Hilton Lake Como is wonderful. The service is very nice. Breakfast is more than ample. The rooms are well laid out, but don’t expect a view of the water unless you book a specific lake view room. You can still enjoy the spectacular view from the roof, but room lake view rooms are their own class and they only offer a 1 level Gold Status Upgrade unlike other Hilton and Hilton family hotels....

I would argue that this is one of the best hotels on the lake. We stayed in a suite facing the lake and I was pleasantly shocked. Car paring gate is not automatic sensor & not convenient for the guest.  Upgrade room for extra Euro400 per night for the lake view suite but the view is not really good, room is quite old.

The hotel is clean and you can park in the yard. There is a big supermarket next to it. It is a 15-minute drive from the city center, so it is only suitable for self-driving. The room is at the level of domestic home inns. The room on the second floor does not have any exterior view, just like a skylight. Alas, it is not satisfactory.

The room is large and has a balcony. It is right in the center of the town, with a good location and free parking. The room is clean, cost-effective, and convenient to go anywhere. Highly recommended!

The room was arranged on the first floor, facing the road. There were two emergency exits hidden behind the curtains, and one of the doors was not closed. The soundproofing was very poor, and I could hear people chatting and traffic outside at night. This was the worst hotel to stay in when traveling in Europe. It felt like I was living on the side of a main road.

The facility is a bit old but well maintained. The room is clean and the place is overall quiet. The service and treatment is so friendly. There are plenty of shops nearby and the main town/lake is only short drive and accessible via walking. Plenty of parking on the site.

Older building with charm. The room was very small, asked for an iron, and they brought a board that wouldn't fit in the room. No extra toiletries aside from soap, shampoo, etc. I'm not sure if it was location on Lake but kept getting bit by mosquitos inside and on deck area. It's a good location. 10 minutes walk from San Giovanni station. Room is big and nice. 10 minutes walking to the center.

Super small shower area. I am 150cm tall and 42 kg , hard to turn around. The doors of the shower area got a big gap such that the floor was all flooded after shower. Room big for a double room and small for a single one .

We expected low cost and we got low cost, so can’t complain on that. However this hotel could do with a fresh coat of paint especially when price/night is still high. Staff was very friendly and helpful

The location of the Alberto Firenze was perfect! It’s a short walk from the Como San Giovanni train station and an even shorter walk to the ferry station and Como-Brunate funicular. The hotel is well located near the city centre. Convenient car parking at hotel premises. I was disappointed that booking for one person gets you only one single bed in a very small room. Originally we had planned to stay in Como but I was put off by an unwelcoming host so booked Locanda Milano at the last minute. Some of the best food I’ve ever had, such a stunning location, and I don’t think the staff could have been any more accommodating or friendly truly if your in lake como this is a must and it gave me and my friends a very pleasant memory. We were a group of 16 people and the owners picked us up and drove us to the restaurant from the funicular. The view, the setting for dinner, the staff and the food were all sensational. Thoroughly recommend going and make arrangements for them to pick you up.

We didn't stay here but went for dinner with a reservation. They picked us up from the top of the Funicular, and brought us to their "home". It's a hotel with crazy amazing views. The food was very rustic and delicious, and the service was fabulous. If you are staying in Como area, make the trek, but reserve ahead and ask for a pickup at the top of the funicular.

We have just returned from an amazing time here. The place is lovely, full of Italian charm. The hotel is so close to the funicular and the ordinary railway it’s a great base to stay in. Nice location on the lake. Unfortunately our room's two windows faced the wall of the building next door and the parking area of the apartments behind. There apparently was no air conditioning but the weather was nice. Breakfast was served in a very nice room. The staff were all very courteous and helpful.

I was in and out of Italy a several times, Hotel Villa Flori is definitely one of the best hospitality I have ever had! I stayed here at Christmas eve, though there is some booking issues upon my arrival, the staff was truly passionate and enthusiastic to help even though it is none of their fault, they even prepared the related documents in case I need it.
