There the stairs was OK, but the things about the room service is really bad because we ordered food after midnight and they bring it. It’s already made and it’s dry and really bad. Overall Hilton Lake Como is wonderful. The service is very nice. Breakfast is more than ample. The rooms are well laid out, but don’t expect a view of the water unless you book a specific lake view room. You can still enjoy the spectacular view from the roof, but room lake view rooms are their own class and they only offer a 1 level Gold Status Upgrade unlike other Hilton and Hilton family hotels....

I would argue that this is one of the best hotels on the lake. We stayed in a suite facing the lake and I was pleasantly shocked. While I understand that people may want to stay at a less modern place when visiting such a historic place, it’s nice to have a modern touch then be able to venture out to the lake or town. Car paring gate is not automatic sensor & not convenient for the guest.  Upgrade room for extra Euro400 per night for the lake view suite but the view is not really good, room is quite old.

The hotel reception looks amazing but they seemed to have stopped the renovations at the room. They look old and have a lot of signs of usage. The bed and sheets are great however. But you can feel the hotel had a lot of usage. The fact there’s no view or access to the water was a big issue for us. On the bright side the service was exceptional.

Great location on the water front. Easy walk to the main squares and all the Activities. One only stayed one night as we were passing through. Room was loud from all the outdoor activities. Probably will not return.

The best location and transport links with 2 train stations nearby, can visit other parts of Italy and Switzerland. The ferry to go to the other islands around Lake Como is opposite the hotel. Breakfast was nice with some halal items but can be repetitive after a while. Staff at reception and breakfast were very welcoming when it came to asking questions. Great location near many good restaurants and the ferry docks. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and some sweets. The bathroom was huge compared to other bathrooms we experienced during our tour of Northern Italy. We would definitely stay there again.

The room we were given was ok large room , City view , Breakfast so Good , the Only this I really didn't like was the room had a Noise up in the ceiling sounding like a electrical power surge Noise every so often . It's a good location. 10 minutes walk from San Giovanni station. Room is big and nice. 10 minutes walking to the center.

Super small shower area. I am 150cm tall and 42 kg , hard to turn around. The doors of the shower area got a big gap such that the floor was all flooded after shower. Room big for a double room and small for a single one .

We expected low cost and we got low cost, so can’t complain on that. However this hotel could do with a fresh coat of paint especially when price/night is still high. Staff was very friendly and helpful

A typical and reliable B&B hotel in Como. Close to the train station. Friendly and polite staff at the reception.

The hotel is clean and you can park in the yard. There is a big supermarket next to it. It is a 15-minute drive from the city center, so it is only suitable for self-driving. The room is at the level of domestic home inns. The room on the second floor does not have any exterior view, just like a skylight. Alas, it is not satisfactory.

The room is large and has a balcony. It is right in the center of the town, with a good location and free parking. The room is clean, cost-effective, and convenient to go anywhere. Highly recommended!

The room was arranged on the first floor, facing the road. There were two emergency exits hidden behind the curtains, and one of the doors was not closed. The soundproofing was very poor, and I could hear people chatting and traffic outside at night. This was the worst hotel to stay in when traveling in Europe. It felt like I was living on the side of a main road.

The facility is a bit old but well maintained. The room is clean and the place is overall quiet. The service and treatment is so friendly. There are plenty of shops nearby and the main town/lake is only short drive and accessible via walking. Plenty of parking on the site.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The location is PERFECT. The only small negatives was that the air-conditioning was not on and safe was difficult to understand. Would certainly stay here again and is wholeheartedly recommend.

Very good location in heart of Como. Near to bus & ferry terminals. Noisy at night till 12am but if windows are fully closed it’s silent. But if in summer windows need to be open, then though luck. I went in winter so it’s amazing

The hotel is located in the city center, right in the pedestrian area. Downstairs, you'll find bars, patisseries, restaurants, an ice cream parlor—literally everything you need. We enjoyed our stay at the Firenze Hotel Como, the location was brilliant and central to everything, the breakfast was top notch, the staff attentive, professional and very helpful. The hotel is well located near the city centre. Convenient car parking at hotel premises. I was disappointed that booking for one person gets you only one single bed in a very small room. The couple who owns the restaurant are absolutely delightful. They were extremely kind, very funny, and patient with our large group. The food was affordable and delicious. I highly recommend any of the dishes with polenta. Sometimes it pays to go off the beaten path.

Initially, we wanted to stay for one night. However, we ended up staying for two nights because we liked the location. The food, meaning the gnocci, was great. The room had everything we needed. In addition, the owner and his family were super friendly. Highly recommended.

Beautiful view on the mountain in Como. Convenient location via the tram plus 20 mins walk. Very very good food, selection of wine and friendly host. If you decided to stay, this is also a hotel with clean, comfortable bed in white sheets and all the essentials, breakfast included. The host will take care of you so well that you feel like home away from home.

When my friend heard that I’m visiting Milan, he said that he had the best carbonara in his life here and recommended me to definitely try it in this restaurant. And he was right. It was completely different from what I had experienced in Italian restaurants in Amsterdam. The food and the service was excellent and you can enjoy the quietness and view.

We were made extremely welcome and every effort was made to assist us. We were told the location of best restaurants and shops and how and where to get a bus into town (a short trip). Tickets for the lake boat trip were arranged.

Top spot in Como. The rooms are tidy and classy. Artwork everywhere. The bar is excellent, with special signature cocktails. The staff is super friendly and speaks perfect English. In case you haven't guessed yet, it's one of my favorite spots in Como to chill and have a laugh in a friendly environment at the center of the city center.

A cozy, extremely clean hotel, everything is well taught off, with quality products and tasteful decor and materials. Extremely good positioning, right in the center of Como, near the Duomo. Very clean, nice host. Great garden. Kitchen could be used. Breakfast kept simple. Maybe fresh tomato or cucumber would be nice. Walked in spontaneously and asked for a room. Very friendly and got a room at the top floor. Nothing wrong on the room, clean and all you need in a hotel room. Not like most others, but breakfast included. Just give your preference and it's ready in the morning. Perfect located close to the lake, city and train station. Will come again.

One of the only vacant rooms in town on the 21st Sep.... A bit more expensive than we expected but it’s a reasonable location from the centre of things and the room was very comfortable and clean, if a little small. This hotel is located roughly a 15 minute walk from the lake/touristy area you may be expecting. There are crosswalks and getting to said area isn’t hard. As for the hotel, they provide a nice and traditional breakfast which is interesting. Further, the rooms are generally clean and well put together. In my opinion, a picky one I’ll admit, the blankets and towels seemed more worn than I would’ve liked...

This hotel has the old way of client service in Italy where the customer is always wrong. Nice location on the lake. Unfortunately our room's two windows faced the wall of the building next door and the parking area of the apartments behind.
