Great experience! Pity with an unstable weather that we couldn’t enjoy the beach. But the swimming pool was great that the deepest part is 2.9 mt.

It is real heaven here! The people are so kind, so helpful. The view is amazing, the garden is divine. The food... If somebody will remain hungry, they deserve it. The food is fantastic. We travelled with child and it was perfect!

This place was so perfect for a family gathering, i was happy there everyday(7days) 18,then 22 people met up there,12 from another part of italy and 6 and then 4 from the Usa,they could not be more welcoming,the food was good,the drinks where good,and i dont know any place besides a resort that can accommodate 18 people for dinner, Sadly i dont speak italian,but everyone there does and where so great...

Excellent attention from the people who work for the hotel, the view of the Stromboli volcano is fabulous, the hotel is very quiet, it has several personalized villas. A place to connect with the Sea, Remember to wear water shoes, Do not be scared of the fish that are curious

Very nice hotal

A very nice hotel with friendly staff. A lot of rooms have a nice view to the sea. It is very clean and rooms are nice. The food is excellent, we were on half board, and while the breakfast is a little bit plain (and same every day) dinner is fantastic. There is a small pool wich is nicely maintained. The hotel is near the Groticelle beach and has a shuttle if you don't want to walk down a steep road...

Nice beach but cery crowded. No sand - small pebbles but it is equally nice. Deep water, note very suitable for kids. Parking is very challenging - only few free spaces, paid parking places are either 2 EUR/hour or 5 euro per whole day (private parking on the right side of the road).

The Hotel Grotticelle is a lovely clean hotel with wonderful friendly staff. From the Barman Salvatore to the catering staff mimmo, Antonio and the others providing great friendly service. The animation team Fabio, Alesandro and all we really didn t want to leave. To sum up. Lovely people, great food. Will return. Thank you all x

This is first Resort that looks so much better real than in pictures.. It is beauty that can not be descreibed. One of best Hotels in whole Italy.. Location, beach, pool and hotel stuff just perfect. Cleaning Lady has closed my bottel wine that i forget. So much dedicated to details.. We are coming back 😊

Beautiful resort and a phenomenal beach. The rooms are pretty nice and well furnished and equipped. Certain services could use some help especially breakfast service in the morning. If you are noisy and waving your hands, the waiter may notice you. Once you order a hot drink, expect to wait for it for another 20 minutes since they have only one barista. And that's unacceptable in a claimed 5 star hotel

Very relaxing stay: the sympathy and availability of the staff, the sea, the Spa, these points were really perfect. On the other hand, the hotel highlights "sustainability", "local", "organic" without this being the case. For example, the breakfast eggs are code "3" (16 chickens per 1m²) and the dive staff advised me to give some bread to bring in the fish when I dive... I agree with other opinions...

This resort is simply fantastic. If you wish to disconnect from the world for a while, if you wish to spend some time near glorious, most beautiful water, while experiencing polished and friendly service, then come stay here. The facility itself is located right on the water, so there is only a short walk from your room to the pool or the beach. The hotel is shaped like the letter “S” with some rooms...

Very friendly staff, lovely garden and pool. Rooms are a bit small and dated, but we did have a great view of the sea from the window and balcony. Great value for money, with room and board, but simplistic menu.

Very nice place, but its on the top off the train tunel....

The hotel is beautiful and very clean and functional. However the restaurant was only really catering for set meals. The staff were all great except for the manager who was very abrupt, blunt and not genuine. Franco in the restaurant could not do enough for his customers as did Mungi for the entertainment he helped provide every night. The pool and outdoor facilities were fab.

Proximity to sea, view was beautiful. Lunch & dinner was delicious and fresh.

Overall I rate the 7 night stay average. Surely the location of the resort is very beautiful with a welcoming and well-kept beach. The rooms are clean, large and quiet. The food in the restaurant is a strong point as it is very good and the staff very kind, such as Alessandro who recommended us a nice place next to the resort and was very attentive to our table. Just an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They assisted my brother-in-law by providing pickup service via a golf cart due to a medical condition. The staff really tried to make it a fun experience for all family members. Hotel sits on the side of a cliff with a private beach. Hotel provided golf cart transportation from central locations to get you up and down the cliff...

We found ourselves very well, the staff is very kind and discreet, the location of the residence is very quiet, the swimming pool very nice and clean and the shuttle to the sea always available. The private beach of Grotticelle is wonderful. The availability of cars for shopping and possible trips is suggested.

We come from Germany and feel comfortable in the Residence Rosy every year. Enzo and Isa together with the whole family are fantastic. We have been visiting this Residence for 4 years. The beach is a dream and the pool is an oasis of calm. Even the children get the fun with the entertainment on the beach, and also in the evening. In all a fantastic holiday with excellent hosts who are always helpful...

We have been going to the lovely Residence Rosy for many (13?) years, and are always warmly welcomed by Isa and Enzo in this charming Residence. It's not right by the beach so you get some tranquility, and the pool and their stretch of private beach are both perfect. Tropea and the unspoiled local area make all in all a lovely holiday spot. Reccomended.

We stayed at Borgo Donna Campora and were associated with a seagull as a guide. We had a great time. Excellent value for money. Attentive and helpful staff, the camphor female structure is truly beautiful and well thought out. Easy access to the sea thanks to constant inland transport by golf-style electric cars. I really liked the hotel, the service, the location, especially suitable for those who love a quiet holiday, on the seashore, sand and clear turquoise water. Swimming and cycling are especially recommended. Advice: rent a car, you can’t live here without it - all the shops are not close.

the location is really wonderful! It's on the beach of capo Vaticano and during all the day you have a wonderful view. The service is quite fast. Food is really good but the ice-cream, specially CANOA it's really AWESOME! I've never tried something like that, everyone must try it!

Very well maintained village, I stayed in the neighboring village but every day, for lunch, my family and I came to Torre Ruffa. Tables with breathtaking sea views, very good food, very professional and kind waiters, attentive to every detail; all accompanied with some relaxing low-volume music. Truly wonderful place, I can't wait to go back, next time, maybe, even to stay.

The staff is very friendly, and helped a lot with our toddler. Excellent location both for going to the beach and having a walk around the village. For breakfast and dinner we were served delicious homely food.

Absolutely great place! We were in Eolo 4 days, and we regret that we have to leave. Especially that we came here before official opening of the season and the renovation was still finishing. But even some disturbing made by renovation the climate of this place is excellent. The owner family made all to make us happy. The dishes were absolutely amazing. The Hotel and Residence Santa Chiara is a top familar managed Resort with helpfull and always,friendly workerd. The rioms are very clean with a good look to the sea. We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights because we were attending a local wedding. We haven't spent that much time in the hotel itself and also, it was beginning of October already. However, I loved how friendly the staff was and how clean the hotel is. They have two adorable cats who live there and they have buffets for breakfast and dinner (only ate twice there though). My room was generaly ok, but I have some reservations. For example in apartment with kitchen, bathroom, marital room and main room the air conditioner is located in marital room. This is causing problems: one room is arctic cold, the other hot. Another minus is kitchen created for one person use and lack of some equipmemt (for example wine glasses). Last minus is paid toilet on the beach (0,5€).

Very bad service in the restaurant. Suggest to try the other restaurants on the beach.

Quiet hotel for holidays escape. Good service and beach with clear water. It's located on the hill, so there are several levels. From upper level you can be delivered to beach on golf car, departure every hour. Hotels beach is not too big, but comfortable. Every room has free personal umbrella and 2 sunbeds at the beach. All customers can use kayaks 30 minutes per day for free. No shampoo and soap...
