Staff was friendly although didn’t offer much in the way of helpful advice or suggestions .Room was quite modern and clean. Breakfast was mediocre and some details were lacking: Many of the “clean” plates at the breakfast buffet were dirty with stuck-on food. Town had very limited things to see and do. There were a couple good dining options, but not many during early season.

We love the villa and exceeded our expectations. We stayed as part of a Viking cruise package. I traveled to Italy on a group tour and this hotel was our base. Great food in the restaurant, beautiful views out of my window of the Tuscany countryside. The property is beautiful and in a central location for reaching Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra. The breakfast room ladies were delightful as were the ladies in the Cardinale restaurant. As a structure I liked it, maybe it would need some tweaks inside the rooms with a few more electrical outlets and in the bathroom I would only recommend a nice and large shower and remove the bathtub. This hotel gets extra points for value. It is very affordable and for what I paid it was a great place to shower and sleep. Plus the staff was extra nice.

Advantage is free parking in the garage, even though it's a little bit complicated to find it. Breakfast was very basic, with mostly sweet food, and salami that there were didn't have good taste. Air conditioning in the room is located in the way that it blows directly on the bed. Rooms were clean though.

Great hotel! The staff is very kind. We had a baby that made a mess during breakfast and we asked for a broom to clean but the waiter rejected my request, saying that he will clean it.. There are plenty of parking spaces. It is a distance from the town. The courtyard on the first floor is quite large, but there are still problems with insects. I killed four mosquito-like insects in one night, although they did not bite people...

We enjoyed this amazing hotel near San Gimignano. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel has a shuttle that takes you to San Gimignano if you don’t want to worry about finding parking. There’s also a Michelin Star restaurant on-site, which serves delicious Tuscan food for a decent price. The owner and his family are great people and We will definitely be back soon!

This is a lovely family hotel surrounded by vineyards and amazing views. It is tranquil, bus stop right outside so we could reach it without a car. The staff is amazing! Everyone were so kind, especially the owner Donatella. On the other hand, I really hope that the owner will change all the room doors because the noise they're making is unbearable. What a beautiful property just inside the main gate! The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. It had a balcony with an amazing view of the countryside! The breakfast and dinner were excellent! Nice hotel in the heart of this fabulous town. We had a room with a shared veranda, which had a fantastic view over the town and local countryside. Like all of the reviews available this property overall was great. The rooms and bathrooms are on the small side and could do with a paint: however the rooms are still comfortable. We ordered croissants and bread most days, perfect. The setting was beautiful, the property perfect, the pool and within easy driving distance to some fantastic hilltop villages.

It was wonderful to use the swimming pool and sit in the lush gardens. The location is perfect, tucked away from the hustle and bustle but very close to the village. There is a path where you can walk to the village and its a 5 min drive away. The prperty is well maintained and so peaceful!

Photos tend to overstate present state of repair however staff are friendly and helpful. A very happy and casual feel to the place so need to be flexible about some of the finer details you might expect in a more urban location. This resort has a rich breakfast and a large swimming pool, which is very suitable for summer vacation. From the observation deck, you can see the small town of San Gimignano, which is known as the "City of a Hundred Towers". It is about 2 kilometers away on foot.
