As a structure I liked it, maybe it would need some tweaks inside the rooms with a few more electrical outlets and in the bathroom I would only recommend a nice and large shower and remove the bathtub. This hotel gets extra points for value. It is very affordable and for what I paid it was a great place to shower and sleep. Plus the staff was extra nice.

Staff was friendly although didn’t offer much in the way of helpful advice or suggestions .Room was quite modern and clean. Breakfast was mediocre and some details were lacking: Many of the “clean” plates at the breakfast buffet were dirty with stuck-on food. Town had very limited things to see and do. There were a couple good dining options, but not many during early season.

What we liked the most was the location: the property is situated on a hill not far from Siena, with a breathtaking view to the fields around it. The property itself is very typical, a country mansion really well kept where the best part is the swimming pool surrounded by trees. We stayed here for one night upon our arrival in Italy for a two week vacation. The location can’t be beat as it is right in the heart of the older part of the city and you can walk everywhere. We were very satisfied with our stay in Colle di val’d Elsa. The hotel was fantastic and our “breakfast-host” was very service minded. The breakfast was generous and the surroundings was lovely.

Our stay at the Hotel Palazzo Renieri was wonderful. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel was clean and nicely appointed. The room was nicely furnished, had a lovely bathroom, and was air conditioned. The breakfast at the hotel each morning was terrific - lots of fresh food, and many options. We would definitely stay here again.

Simply amazing. Beautifully renovated antique palazzo. A modern and silent lift has somehow been incorporated into the building. We stayed in the top floor room with incredible countryside views. Lovely, clean place in a picturesque zone with walking paths. Very friendly hosts and beatiful views from the terrace. Though the price is quite high for being located just by a really busy road. We found this gem of a place just by chance when we were driving by in Sept 2018. Simply amazing place. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The food was exceptional and the wine was delicious. We are planning another trip to Italy from Canada in Sept 2020 and are really looking forward to going back here for a nice dinner and wine tasting. See you between Sept 15-20.

Good Tuscan style food; classical dishes well prepared and for very fair prices. Secondi are with a focus on grilled meat. The house wine is good value for money - indeed one of the more enjoyable "basic" wines. Location outside on the terrace was nice. Reservation recommended!

I don't normally write reviews, but my goodness, do these folks deserve one. They're an elderly Italian couple, always smiling and giggling and laughing and being over the top with hospitality. They were just so sweet. Greeted me at checkin, I was the only one there (January is off season), the house is made of stone so it's super quiet, great to catch up on rest. This is a little pearl in the beautifull landscape of Toscany. Great people, great breakfast and a nice old pelgrims house from the year 1200 that is restored in a beautifull way. A very nice place to be. Restaurant recommended in the near area, also nice Italian food.

We were walking on the Via Francigena and my traveling companions found this renovated 15th century Tuscan farmhouse surrounded by green grass with a swimming pool. Top courtesy and kindness. Good location of the structure. Close to a free car park and the lift which allows easy access to the upper part of the town. Francesca, the owner, is very helpful and kind. The breakfast is fantastic, all based on cakes and biscuits prepared by her. Highly recommended!

Staying at this location was wonderful. The owner was friendly and and the apartment we stayed in was 1000 Square feet. The pool was wonderful and the other guests were friendly. Perfect location.. wished we would of stayed here longer. We definitely would visit again.
