Staff was friendly although didn’t offer much in the way of helpful advice or suggestions .Room was quite modern and clean. Breakfast was mediocre and some details were lacking: Many of the “clean” plates at the breakfast buffet were dirty with stuck-on food. Town had very limited things to see and do. There were a couple good dining options, but not many during early season.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room and facilities were spotless. The pool and bar were perfect and the view from the pool was beautiful. Breakfast was plentiful and good options. We love the villa and exceeded our expectations. We stayed as part of a Viking cruise package. The room was large with king bed, excellent AC ( very hot ＞95F), good size bath with all amenities, good WiFi connectivity, nice pool & area, etc. We really like the place. The location is a bit remote, but it is also very quiet. The front desk service is very good. There is a bathtub in the room picture but there is not in reality. The dinner is very cost-effective and it is worth eating in the hotel!

I traveled to Italy on a group tour and this hotel was our base. Great food in the restaurant, beautiful views out of my window of the Tuscany countryside. My only complaint was that the room was warm and the air conditioner never worked properly. The tour guide said the Italian government wouldn't allow air conditioning after October 15...odd

Beautiful setting. Room is very spacious….bed is average. Room is cleaned daily. Breakfast has many varieties. Room was dark and dreary. Nowhere to sit except a hard leather couch that is very uncomfortable. Internet requires a new login almost every time it’s used. Very annoying after a few days.

We have stayed in this hotel for a number of visits to Rome over the last few years. We have found the rooms excellent, Service very good and they would go out of their way to help. We would not stay in another hotel in Rome!! Very central and only a 10 mt walk from Termini railway station. 15 mt walk to trevi fountain.

The property is beautiful and in a central location for reaching Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra. The breakfast room ladies were delightful as were the ladies in the Cardinale restaurant. Mina was an extremely affable and polite head waitress whose standard of courtesy is hard to come across in service industries anymore.

Nice place to stay. We had a 2 level room which was nice. The remodeling is excellent and the bathroom area is really excellent. As a structure I liked it, maybe it would need some tweaks inside the rooms with a few more electrical outlets and in the bathroom I would only recommend a nice and large shower and remove the bathtub. This hotel gets extra points for value. It is very affordable and for what I paid it was a great place to shower and sleep. Plus the staff was extra nice.

Advantage is free parking in the garage, even though it's a little bit complicated to find it. Breakfast was very basic, with mostly sweet food, and salami that there were didn't have good taste. Air conditioning in the room is located in the way that it blows directly on the bed. Rooms were clean though.

Excellent experience and starting point for visiting Siena San Gimignano Arezzo and other beautiful places. The top is in the kindness of the staff, but also in the cleanliness of the rooms, in the garage under the structure and in the varied breakfast.

Good location of the structure. Close to a free car park and the lift which allows easy access to the upper part of the town. Francesca, the owner, is very helpful and kind. The breakfast is fantastic, all based on cakes and biscuits prepared by her. Highly recommended!

A beautiful renovated historical building in a great location, right at the gate of the old quarter. I don't normally write reviews, but my goodness, do these folks deserve one. They're an elderly Italian couple, always smiling and giggling and laughing and being over the top with hospitality. They were just so sweet. Greeted me at checkin, I was the only one there (January is off season), the house is made of stone so it's super quiet, great to catch up on rest. This is a little pearl in the beautifull landscape of Toscany. Great people, great breakfast and a nice old pelgrims house from the year 1200 that is restored in a beautifull way. A very nice place to be. Restaurant recommended in the near area, also nice Italian food.

We were walking on the Via Francigena and my traveling companions found this renovated 15th century Tuscan farmhouse surrounded by green grass with a swimming pool. Top courtesy and kindness. We had received a tip from a local to do a wine tasting here, we are very glad we went to La Segolina. We first got a tour of the vineyards, and then the wine tasting started. Delicious wines for a great price. We took a box home. The owner knows what he is talking about and conveys it very nice and professional. Definitely recommend for a fun experience. Magnificent farmhouse, very convenient to reach many Tuscan villages. Very kind owners, delicious and well-stocked breakfast (the homemade cakes are excellent). The infinity pool overlooking the vineyard is perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. Special mention for Arya, the really sweet dog of the farm.

Staying at this location was wonderful. The owner was friendly and and the apartment we stayed in was 1000 Square feet. The pool was wonderful and the other guests were friendly. Perfect location.. wished we would of stayed here longer. We definitely would visit again.

We had the most wonderful stay at La Pieve. Daniela was absolutely amazing in helping us enjoy our Tuscan vacation, including dinner reservations at Arnolfo (2-star Michelin), the amenities and treats in our cottage, and the delicious meal served on our private patio. My husband and I were so lucky to celebrate our wedding at Borgo Santinovo. All our guests loved the apartments, swimming pool and the entire property. The staff were incredible and went above and beyond for each guest. The wine and food were wonderful. We all decided we will go back for our five year anniversary, can’t wait!
