The hotel is well located near the city, has a gorgeous view and it is very quiet place during night. The pool Needs better care and to be heated, it is too cold in April, the garden needs a better maintenance and the service staff restaurant needs a more polite supervisor Asap.

Like all of the reviews available this property overall was great. The rooms and bathrooms are on the small side and could do with a paint: however the rooms are still comfortable. I had a room with a balcony and it was amazing to watch the sunrise and sunset from there. The staff were all kind and helpful and the communal areas and breakfast area were great. We recently spent two weeks at the end of May at this delightful hotel. Authentic family run hotel. One of the best kept secrets in San Gimignano . Beautiful gardens, great location, delicious food friendly helpful staff. A lovely charming and old fashioned feel. A definite 10/10. Thank you to all the staff who made our first time in Tuscany a wonderful experience .

Very nice hotel, good breakfast (including savory food) and very friendly staff. Andreas in particular was brilliant and he provided a shuttle service for a fair fee. Would have been nice to have a shorter walk into the old town from the hotel as quite a long detour walk (very scenic and beautiful though) had to be taken each day as public busses were not at all reliable. This is a lovely family hotel surrounded by vineyards and amazing views. It is tranquil, bus stop right outside so we could reach it without a car. The staff is amazing! Everyone were so kind, especially the owner Donatella. Very professional and helpful staff. The room we stayed in was very clean and tidy and the breakfast was delicious. If you're arriving with a car, there are more than enough parking spaces. On the other hand, I really hope that the owner will change all the room doors because the noise they're making is unbearable. For anyone with poor fitness skills, I don't recommend going to San Gimignano on foot...

This resort has a rich breakfast and a large swimming pool, which is very suitable for summer vacation. From the observation deck, you can see the small town of San Gimignano, which is known as the "City of a Hundred Towers". It is about 2 kilometers away on foot.

Good walking distance from the historical San Gimignano sites. The room was always clean and the staffs were very friendly. The iconic towers are visible from the hotel pool side.

The hotel is in Chianti, surrounded by vineyards, and the scenery should be more beautiful in autumn. There are many villages with nice scenery within dozens of kilometers. The breakfast is not bad, the coffee is delicious, there are many desserts, and there are many kinds of cheese. Continental breakfast.

The hotel is in a very strategic location, easy to find by car, and very close to San Gimignano. Walking on the path to the old town, the scenery is very beautiful, fully reflecting the unique natural environment of Tuscany.

We enjoyed this amazing hotel near San Gimignano. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel has a shuttle that takes you to San Gimignano if you don’t want to worry about finding parking. There’s also a Michelin Star restaurant on-site, which serves delicious Tuscan food for a decent price. The owner and his family are great people and We will definitely be back soon!

What an amazing experience we had at La Collegiata. Driving up to the old monastery along the beautifully tree lined driveway and arriving in this magnificent greenery and impeccably maintained gardens around the whole property. A wonderful hotel, full of charm and real character with outstanding, knowledgeable service. A quick 20 minute walk into San Gimignano where Stephano recommended terrific restaurants for lunch or dinner, and also other towns to visit. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are decent. Wifi is terrible. Our biggest issue was with the lack of food available on the premises. We were on a cycling tour and besides breakfast, it is unclear if there is any food to be had for the rest of the day. Since we got caught here during a very rainy day, we had to taxi (40 euros) to San Gimignano eat lunch and bring home dinner for later-...

A beautiful setting within a beautiful city. We loved this place overall. Staff were very friendly, everything about the hotel was top notch...except the comfort of the bed for me. That was the only slight negative. We would love to visit again though. Basically outstanding.

I have nothing negative to say! The staff were always friendly and always happy to help with anything! The room was clean and spacious with all the amenities you would expect. The location couldn't be more perfect and the parking was a huge bonus. Breakfast was great and again with great staff. In summary, I highly recommend this hotel if you go to San Gimignano.

What a beautiful property just inside the main gate! The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. It had a balcony with an amazing view of the countryside! The breakfast and dinner were excellent! The hotel is in a perfect location as it is on the main street of the city, full of little shops, it is close to parking (you cannot drive into the city), the atmosphere is typical Tuscan, very cozy and comfortable. Nice hotel in the heart of this fabulous town. We had a room with a shared veranda, which had a fantastic view over the town and local countryside. Only downside of the visit was that we were not able to get a table at the restaurant for dinner. Not much effort from the hotel reception desk to fit us in

Clean, comfy, simple and homely welcome in a great location overlooking the vineyards. Excellent breakfast of fresh fruit, homemade cakes and focaccia with local tomatoes. Firm comfortable bed and great shower. What more could you need.

The only positive is the very central location and nice views, but the rooms were dated and uncomfortable, the staff seemed bored, and the breakfast was the worst that we had in Italy. The views are beautiful and serene. The hotel staff is welcoming and kind. Our dog was able to walk the property and our room had lots of space. The room was clean and had amazing views of the countryside. The breakfast was nice, but limited choices. The hotel is a short drive to the city center but feels as if you are in the middle of nowhere.

Wonderful hostel, in the middle of Tuscany, near San Gimignano. The two-bedroom is gorgeous, with wooden ceilings, and nicely decorated. The area is simply beautiful! Highly recommended!

One of the most beautiful places / hotels I've ever seen especially considering the price. The only thing I could critizise is that the sound isolation of the rooms are not the best and you can hear the neighbours sometimes.

This place is designed with a third eye. From the windows, to the bathtub, to the honor bar & library. I would do anything to stay with Baker & Christian again. We stayed 5 nights and found the location to be very convenient for day trips to other Tuscan towns. Highly recommend!!!

This B&B was the absolute best part of our stay. The views were excellent and the hospitality was second to none. Anna and Alessandro are such kind people; delays to our travel plans left us stranded at the train station in Poggibonsi (about 12 km from the hotel) and they came to pick us up in their own car in the middle of the night! They also arranged a car service for us to get back to the train...

Although I did not stay here, I walked on the property and was greeted by the owner of the B&B who was extremely friendly, gracious and hospitable. The views are incredible (picture attached) from the rooms and backyard. To experience Tuscany away from the tourist district but close enough to access it quickly, this is an excellent choice. If I had another night in San Gimignano, I would have stayed...

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Small b&b (just 3 rooms, I think). All rooms looking out over the tuscan hills and the owners vineyards and olive groves. The owner and his family were very friendly and his wine is delicious. Breakfast is served in the owners apartment and is plentiful and delicious. Only a 5 minute stroll into the city. Wish we had booked more than one night.

I Coppi is without question one of the best B&B's I have stayed in. The location is within a few hundred meters of the main village in San Gimignano. I stayed in the Ginestra apartment for 4 nights with my family and we had a very good time. The apartments are equipped with everything you need, they are immersed in a wonderful wooded park where there is also a swimming pool. The owner is very kind and helpful, we will gladly come back!

Fantastic place for a large group. Mixed group of 25 of us stayed for a week, including two very young children, with no complaints. Separated flats and kitchens allow for a lot of flexibility, while the communal dining room & table were a great natural gathering point in the evenings. Could not have found a better place. Amazing house and the owner is absolutely lovely. Rooms were super clean and completely ready for you. Cooking gear is spotless with nice set of pan and cutlery. Flat screen TVs allowed us to watch World cup games properly. Highly recommended!!!!
