Hotel Astoria

Nice hotel, in the middle of old town - not reachable by car, you have to walk a bit, not so easy to find it. But what a pleasure to step out of the door and to be at 5 minutes from the main square! The rooms are large, stylish, the bathroom too. Good continental breakfast, with freshly backed croissants.

It was such a a cute little place to stay and had the most amazing crosaunts, the atmosphere was cute it had a bit of like early 90's vibe that was maintained well and I would absolutely stay here again

The hotel was in a central location, walkable to everything, clean, and had a great, strong, hot shower and a comfortable bed. The downside was that the room, or possibly others, was right above a bar that served tables outside, so it was very- loud until they closed late at night. Breakfast left a lot to be desired.

We spent a night at this hotel, it has a nice boutique style, the room is spacey and clean. It’s clear that in the old city it is quite difficult to find a quiet place but in this case there is a bar-restaurant directly underneath the windows. Open until 01 AM, so it was a bit loud until that time. On the other hand the restaurant is very good, has nice starters and good cocktails so you can see it as an advantage too. We would generally recommend this place but not for a stay with a baby.

We had a great stay at Astoria Hotel Cremona. The hotel is well located in the historical centre of the city. All staff is very kind and extremely patient with our basic Italian language :)

Coming here for the second time shows that choosing this hotel is an experience that leaves a good impression.
When I made my way in without a booking, the receptionist on duty gave me a warm welcome and although it was still before check-in time, he gave me permission to stay in the room. The room, being a double was huge for my requirements, containing all the necessary furniture, a desk included. A kettle, bottled water and sachets of tea were available.
The bathroom, big and airy was clean and polished to perfection and contained all the necessary accoutrements and more.
This hotel is only a stone's throw away from Piazza del Comune where one can find the outstanding Duomo, Cremona's famous bell tower and the medieval town hall. Tucked in Vicolo Bordogallo, it is housed in a small medieval palazzo, renovated with no expense spared.
The breakfast in the adjoining bar downstairs was beyond expectations. Although it was not the buffet type, the selection was good enough and in abundance.
