Me and my wife stopped at the Astoria Hotel, Desenzano for one week. The staff were lovely and the room was nice, clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great.....it gave a good start to the day. The location was spot on...for both restaurants/bars and the ferry to get round Lake Garda. The train station was a 25 minute walk (uphill), which we used to get to Verona, Milan and Venice.....so again an ideal location if you want to explore further afield. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay👌

Rudest check out ever. Day hotel manager was utterly obnoxious. Most unpleasant stay and check out I ever experienced. The desk manager sent the room service multiple times from ca. 10 am to make sure to vacate the room by 11 am sharp. Very invasive and disrespectful behavior as I was trying to get ready and pack and was interrupted about 4 times between 10 am and 11 am. Almost started a fight with me for leaving the room at 11:05 instead of 11:00 he wanted. He literally came up to the room at 11:01 or so and immediately was disrespectful. This is a place that is supposed to host guests but that excels in being unwelcoming. Waving goodbye to it’s customers by disrespecting and provoking them

Very simple,clean,good smelling (very good really) hotel,kind personnel and total freedom on check-in/out time,and private park totally free. Found on Booking,very good price. In the middle of Desenzano and at 5 minutes on foot from the beach!

A lovely clean and comfortable hotel. The owner, Josef, was very kind when I felt unwell with anaemia. Really close to the centre and lovely breakfast and terrace on the roof.

This is the worst hotel. The owner is very rude and had arrogant behaviour. We stayed with baby and asked for hot water to sterilise the bottles - on which he got offended. He wasted our lot of time to give the hot water due to which we were late 5 mins for the check out. He came shouting at our door that it’s our checkout time. No hospitality, no service, arrogant behaviour, no kid friendly, no refrigerator, no kettle and no porter for the luggage.

Location is great, it is literally around 2 minutes away from the beach. Rooms were ok. However breakfast buffet didn’t have a great variety of foods but it was ok. And rooms didn’t have a small fridge unfortunately. And they also didn’t have an iron 🥲. But i guess the great location compensates for the other missing things

This small hotel is excellent. Located just 3 minutes walk to the lake 5min if you walk very slowly. Good size room, very clean. Comfortable bed and good nights sleep. The staff are friendly and very helpful. No drink making facilities in the room but reception will make you a tea or coffee for €1. Good choice of foods at the breakfast buffet. The view of Lake Garda from the sun terrace is fantastic. Take your book and a glass of wine to enjoy a peaceful relaxing time. The hotel is 20min walk from the station if you arrive by train or they have parking out front.
You can then explore the local area or catch the ferry or bus to explore the Lake all a short walk from the hotel. A wide selection of local restaurants and cafes mean you have no problems finding lunch or dinner.

They hotel was central to everything. Our was cleaned but could done with nice curtains and could painted up.
