Recently stayed at this wonderful old Italian Hotel and had one of the most amazing dinners with my lovely wife in their dining room that looks out over the lake. Just been here for food (trattoria pizzeria alessi desenzano) the hotel seemed to be connected. Had a delicious pizza and my partner had gnocchi both loved our meals. The staff are very friendly and always around. They even had three vegan options (burger, pie and a pasta dish I think)

The hotel has a great location, right in the center if the walking street and pricing are fair. But there’s no parking spaces nearby, rooms are badly maintained and if you plan on being there during the summer months note that there’s no air conditioning in the rooms.

I don't have problems recommending the place. My children enjoyed the jacuzzi on the rooftop. My wife with the bike rented (of the hotel), she was able to roam surrounding places. The room is okay and clean. And the breakfast? Satisfied! There's a lot to eat. Everyone ate well and the staffs are all helpful. We'll return again, maybe to stay more days.

We (4 boys) stayed for one week in the Hotel Berta. We had a awesome time in this hotel. Our Vacation was during the covid pandemic. The hotel stuff managed the situation pretty well. The breakfast buffet was excellent. But the best about the hotel was the always very friendly and courteos stuff. Big props for that. One day we will definitely visit hotel Berta again!
