Hotel Metropol

Stayed at the Hotel Metropol for the long-weekend, and would go back in a heartbeat.

Two things stood out for me: the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the place, and the stunning views of the bay.

The staff were very friendly with us. My partner said that 'they make you feel at home with a smile', and that's true.

Our double room was spacious and clean. Personally, I quite liked the balcony for the privacy it offered, along with an amazing view of the sea. For those like me who live in the city, it was so nice to be greeted by the sun and sea each morning.

Location is great too. It’s just up the hills offering great views, yet only a 3 min walk from the beach with its many bars and restaurants, and maybe another 5 min walk from the town centre. You can easily drive into town too, if you want.

There’s a large swimming pool tucked away for a swim and sunbathing, which I thought was great to get some quiet time.

Overall, I found it very easy to relax and enjoy my time off at a place like this.

A really good find for a getaway holiday. Would highly recommend.

We have just finished an 8 day holiday at the hotel Metropol.
We really enjoyed our stay.
We do not usually use the hotel dining room for dinner but the food at breakfast and dinner is wonderful. The staff without exception were friendly and kind.
We will definitely be coming back next September.

A piece of Paradise!
Located in a natural 5 km bay on the west coast of the Ligur Sea. The Sea is mostly flat, well protected from strong winds. It is clear and transparent, the sunshine plays it's game on the waves providing an unboreable attraction during swimming.
The Hotel is situated 50-60 meters above the Sea offering a breathtaking view. The rooms are mostly ESE directed, the balconies are shadowed in the afternoon (thx God).
Shuttle bus service to the beach or cc. 3-5 minutes walk. Swimming pool is 1 minute walk. Sunambrella and sunbeds are provided on both locations.
The food, drinks, chef, waiters and all staff is fantastic! Never had such good food before!!!
Salmon and all kind of fruits of the Sea, beafsteak, mushroom, cakes, etc.
They compete with french chefs and are unbeatable!!!
It's a true 4 stars hotel! Pets are welcome too with limited access to the beach.
On the 1st day we turned up at 10 Am, our room was ready and we were let in. Got an extra sunbed on the balcony too...
It is a good price/services offer, in my opinion it is a MUST TRY!
We spent our best holiday here and shall return!

Nice hotel with private beach 5 minutes to go

Nice place to stay few minor points: small rooms and airco was not working well. Not sure to visit hotel with children due to restricted menu choise. Would like to end positive: clean rooms, free beach access, nice food, friendly staff
