The sound in the room was very loud during the night

The hotel environment is lovely, with parking conveniently located right on the property. Breakfast was a highlight, with a good variety of options and staff who made coffee to order. The rooms are spacious and include a balcony with beautiful mountain views. However, the hairdryer could be stronger. The hotel is about a 25-minute walk from the city center, but note that part of the route is along a highway without a dedicated walking path, which can be risky, especially for families with children. Taking a taxi or public transport might be safer. The staff were very welcoming, though English communication was limited—knowing some Italian would be helpful.

Smell of smoke - non-functional air-condition - cargo train noise - dirty towels
1. We had booked a non-smoking room - but this was not the case; it smelled like smoke everywhere. The receptionist, just offered to spray some fragrance but he could not offer another room. It was terrible to sleep in this stinking room and all of our clothes were smelling after the stay.
2. It was very hot in the room and even after the receptionist had programmed the air condition we could not feel any cooling. There was no temperature change in the room. So, we tried to sleep with open windows...
3. The room was 100m from the Simplon-Milano railway connection. Cargo trains were running all night making it impossible to sleep: Stinking room, air condition not working, open windows with impossible traffic noise.
4. The shower towel was dirty - looked like someone wiped his butt - very disgusting!!! (see picture).

Generous breakfast and very friendly atmosphere. Rooms are fully air-conditioned. Good base location to explore the area. Fully recommend staying here.

Very comfortable accomodation, easy parking clean rooms, nice people, excellent breakfast at very convenient price. What ask more ? Surely my next stop in this town will repeat the same accommodation experience

Very considerate staff, they let us in after we had arrived after closing hours. Decent rooms and a good breakfast, also very close to the main road that runs through Domodossola.
