Lovely hotel, with comfortable and clean rooms and a nice breakfast. It truly has everything you need. The staff is polite and friendly, with Nicolo being especially helpful during my stay.
Conveniently located across from the train station, the hotel is perfect for anyone wanting to use Empoli as a base for exploring the area.

Hotel is great located, so that you can easily go to Florence. Clean rooms and goos breakfast.

Wonderful staff so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was delightful and very clean. Was made to feel very important and looked after

The rooms are clean and nice but the man who was in the reception in every evening can speak only Italian (even he did not want to speak in other language) and he was not either friendly nor helpful.

A little bit old school hotel. It is like from the 60s but the friendly staff and the nice rooms is okey. It is very close to the station so you can easily get into Florence.

Rooms were nice, breakfast ok, but for the price one would expect more.
The problem was that the staff barely knew any english word, so fortunately for us, we didn't have any problems, because we would't be able to discuss anything with them.
We got a parking permission in the blue zone, but were quite unsecure what would happen to our car - the street was looking a bit shady.
All in all, ok for one night stay.

We chose to find a place at Empoli to travel easily between Siena and Florence. Hotel Il Sole is the best option at Empoli. It is conveniently located across Empoli station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Niccolo was awesome and made us feel very welcome! Rooms are newly refurbished and very clean. Our room included breakfast which provided good options. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Rooms are cozy and very clean. It is comfy to stay in.
Stuff is super friendly and helpful. Fresh buns and coffee for breakfast.
And location is perfect, the railway station is in front of hotel.

Nickoli runs a very nice hotel. From instant email response to my questions, to a very warm welcome upon arrival. Yes, the rooms are small, but the furnishings are up to date and everything is very clean.
He gave us great dinner recommendations. If we are ever in Empoli again, and we just might just to say hi and stay another night.
