We chose to find a place at Empoli to travel easily between Siena and Florence. Hotel Il Sole is the best option at Empoli. It is conveniently located across Empoli station. I was a guest for just one night at the last Firenze Rock..I found the hotel convenient, even for reaching the Visarno arena, where the concert was held. I had awesome stay in the apartment. The location was close the train station which I wanted since I was travelling each day to a new city. The surroundings and path to station was quiet and safe, I didn't have a problem returning at night. The room was clean and comfy with private bathroom and a balcony. Apartment away from the center, which can be easily reached on foot in less than 5 minutes. Very convenient compared to the station, less than 500 meters. Well organized bathroom, comfortable bed and electric shutters. Easy to find parking. Two air conditioners and well equipped kitchen. Wifi, two Smart TVs and security door, all new and very clean!

Brand new and very nice apartment, excellent cleanliness and location since the station is only 500 meters walk, possibility to park the car on the road and the owner has always been kind and helpful. The hotel would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Tuscany Empoli using as a base.

They are very kind, the pizza by the slice is one of the best in Empoli and in the ice cream parlor there are 2 tastes to try absolutely, that is the wonderful "so and so" and "mint" taste when we return to Empoli we will certainly return. Strongly recommended.

Great place to have a tasty snack. A little too small as a seat, it offers seating both inside and out. In addition to making flatbreads, pizzas and focaccias, they also make ice creams. The prices are great and the dunks as well. The focaccias are not the best. When I went there the bathroom was out of order.

The service here was so amazing too, which is why I'm giving it five stars. We had an elderly gentleman help us out too with our orders, and he was so sweet, constantly giving us snacks and shots of limoncello on the house.

So beautiful, homey, comfortable and grand. The villa is so lovely! The trees, the landscape, the pool was exquisite and the front desk was very helpful. Our room was private, comfortable, had everything we needed and was extremely close to the wedding venue to which we were attending. I would love to return to this stay again.

A lovely hotel to stay at for a very relaxing break and some relaxation. The customer service was brilliant from our arrival. Any issues we had were sorted out quickly. My wife and I booked out the whole of the iMassini for ourselves and our family & friends to stay whilst in Tuscany for our wedding and it was absolutely perfect. The grounds and the rooms are beautiful, it's so peaceful and relaxing. It's right in the middle of the countryside so you get a proper taste of Tuscany, although as noted in previous reviews you do need a car. All of the staff are so friendly...

Our apartment was at the top of the tower and had great views of the countryside. It was comfortable and had a lovely pool. Martin was excellent, we had an all day power cut on our last day, he arranged another place to stay and also took us there. Would recommend.

Very comfortable apartment in a quite Tuscany area. The room and the bathroom is big enough for three people and nicely furnished. You can take your breakfast outside in the shadow. They serve gluten-free bread, cookies and lactose-free milk also and kind staff helps you all the time. We loved the swimming pool looking to the hillsides and not busy at all, you really can relax. 5 minutes drive to Empoli...

Borgo San Giusto consists of a series of carefully restored old farmhouses, surrounded by greenery. I have stayed there several times and I can say that the rooms are all spacious and very comfortable, also suitable for longer stays. The accuracy and kindness of the staff makes the atmosphere even more pleasant and relaxing.

The structure is really welcoming, the staff is kind, the breakfast is plentiful and varied. The pool is a relaxing corner without crowding. The restaurant next door offers many tempting dishes and good service. To be recommended

Excellent B&B the quietness of the environment made it even more special. In the hills outside Empoli you have all you need. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant (not part of the B&B) is superb you don't need to go elsewhere. Just browse around when you are there. It does feel you are on a nice break even when you are travelling for work. We were guests of the "Poggiolo" in October. Excellent hospitality of the owners who made us feel immediately at ease with their courtesy and availability. Such a lovely sweet couple! Homebaked goods for breakfast (you'll definitely be full!) with beautiful views from the kitchen/terrace. Basic accommodations but has everything you would need (as with most places like this in Europe, make sure to bring your own shampoo!).

Located a few steps from the railway station which connects with Florence, Pisa, Livorno and Siena. A familiar and welcoming environment. The hosts were hyper-welcoming and did not spare themselves in giving advice on where to go for dinner and which nearby villages to visit. The house is clean and offers every comfort. I recommend it to anyone who wants to treat themselves to a moment of Tuscan tranquility

A lovely location at an amazing price. The local town is within walking distance and has supplies for quiet nights in the hills. We were promised bread every morning that never arrived - we chalked it up to language idiosyncrasies. Would definitely stay again.

Family-run apartment complex. Equipment good. Spacious green areas and a beautiful, large pool, which is regularly maintained. We were there with the extended family and had rented 2 spacious apartments. Everything was great and the price was very moderate. We'll be back for sure. The sea and the well-known cities can be reached easily in about one hour.

It was amazing! They will take theire time to really make a good dish!! But after waiting it is more than worth waiting for! Also the price was very good!!!

We happened to stay closed to this restaurante and the food was just fantastic. The server name Simone was an amazing person. He help us with his broken English and our broken Italian. We were in IL Paretaio in July and August 2022 the place is very beautiful, the apartment is very comfortable with air conditioning and very complete and very clean. What a lovely place to stay. The apartments got everything you need for a longer stay. We stayed for two weeks and never needed for anything. Particularly the outdoor areas are amazing: four gazebo's with bbq areas that you can use and plenty of high quality sunbeds near the pool. We loved hanging out here but also exploring Tuscany. Last time we came in the middle of winter and this time we opted for the menu including entry to the pool. it is really good, surrounded by greenery and silence. For each nucleus an umbrella and a sunbed and in our case a gazebo. If you use the swimming pool, the price includes lunch and we ate really well. Super cozy place! We stayed here with the entire family, 7 people in total. We were a little disappointed by the room that was advertised as it's individual room that turned out to be the living room and the pool that you see in the pictures is not accessible to the guests of the house. There's a different pool that's slightly smaller. The pool in the pictures is only for the people who rent individual...

The house is beautiful and the owners are very friendly. If you are traveling by car the site is ideal. But if as you travel on foot is not the best option because it is almost 2km from the town and to get there you have to climb a very hard slope.
