My wife and I stayed here for two nights at the end of our trip to Tuscany. Let me just say that the experience was incredible. Location was very good, only a couple of blocks from the Tram that took us to the historic center and on the last day to the airport. Room was very clean and comfortable. But our rating of the hotel is overwhelmingly the result of the excellent treatment by the staff. When arriving we met up with a gentleman at the desk (we were early for our checkin, but he was able to get us to a room) and he was just so incredible in explaining how to get around Florence, to the Tram and just generally was kind, helpful and generous with his time. I wish we could remember his name, as he is certainly the reason that if we were to return to Florence we would go back to this hotel.

Excellent hotel. Chose this hotel due to its proximity to the airport. Our flight was going to get in late, and my wife and I wanted to be ready for the next day. The Cosmopolitan Hotel did not disappoint. Check-in went smoothly, and we had a great first sleep in Italy. Extra credit to the staff for helping me quickly track down the cab company who drove us to our next destination. I left my glasses case in the cab. Thanks to their helpfulness, I had my glasses back in less than 30 minutes. Much appreciated. Highly recommend. And thank you to the staff at the hotel!

Very nice and clean hotel with a helpful reception and very accommodating check out options. I missed breakfast so can’t say much about it but my mates enjoyed it. High note the rooms were nice and warm which was great given the freezing wet weather outside.

Arrived at Florence hotel at 11:30 on November 6th, stayed 1 night, and returned home 1 night on November 25th
I've been to many hotels, but I didn't want to go anywhere else.
The reason is that the late arrival at the hotel on a late flight was so kind, and the hotel was so clean.
Free parking and meals are not included in the hotel fee, but the breakfast was so good.
The bathroom was also very clean.
It's close to the airport and downtown, so I want to stay there again next time I go, and I want to recommend it to my friends.
And there's a restaurant across the hotel that's open until 1 AM, so you can have a simple drink and a snack.
I'm satisfied with everything.

The room was clean and tidy, of a good size. Breakfast started at 7:00 and was very good. There are two Italian restaurants nearby, Pizza Man and TITO, which are very good. Parking is available downstairs of the hotel. Will come again.

The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located near a tram station so within 20 minutes you’re in the city centre. €1.70 for a tram ticket which is valid for 90 minutes after validation, which isn’t too bad at all.
In regard to the cleanliness of the room, I would have to say that I’m a little disappointed. The room had been cleaned but it was clearly a surface-level clean as it was still fairly dusty. Another big problem air conditioning unit was really dusty, so when you switch it on, you’re just spreading dust in the room.
This was really frustrating especially since my husband has a severe dust allergy so he didn’t exactly have a great time here.
When opening the window to air the room, it was loud (traffic noise) as the hotel is on the main highway to the airport.
Stayed two nights but haven’t slept either night. Wouldn’t stay here again.

If you are American I recommend to stay somewhere else. The rooms were nice but two staff members not so much. Some staff were nice however two members it was very clear that they just wanted the money. We went for breakfast it was 10E per person and I went to take an item to go because we had to catch a flight and she was very very rude about it and I had to place the item back so I wasn't really able to eat. I was also informed that breakfast was included the night before but then we were charged in the morning. You are very close to the airport so that is nice but you are super far from anything good to see in the main section of the city. We only stayed one night so that we would be close to the airport but the B&B we stayed in before this one was cheaper and much more pleasant. This building had a cold feel to it. Very chain like feel.
