Great view. You can see Mount Etna from your balcony if you are on the back side or if you are looking around the right side of the front of the building. Watch out for traffic when you are walking across the road to the beach though, because they go fast on that road. The dinner was bad and my whole group agreed.

Eat pasta EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. It’s very plain food and in the bedroom , right after the cleaner has been in there was ants EVERYWHERE. Every time the cleaners came in, they ate our food from the fridge and would go in our suitcases..

It is a small village with nothing to see but the sea. The apartment house is a 10-minute walk from the sea. Pebble beach, long, very clean water.The appartment house is not very modern, but very clean. Large rooms with large balcony. Breakfast okay, half board okay. It is a family business, so there are few staff and very slow. Almost no one speaks English. Nobody speaks foreign languages at the reception...

50 minutes and 80 euro ride on a taxi from Catania airport. Free parking. No cleaning, no soap in the shower, no towel change. Kitchen equiped only with the basic stuff. 5 minutes walk to the beach amd to the closest small market. 10 minutes on a car to Lidle. Mascali its a very small town with almost no night life.

We had a great time, the owners are kind, they took great care of us throughout our stay. Unparalleled hospitality, a family atmosphere. The kind and courteous staff, always ready to satisfy every need. Clean room, wifi network available. Animals in the structure well kept. This hotel is in a very peaceful location surrounded by citrus trees. Having access to a vehicle is a must. A great Hotel in my opinion. We were here for a total of four nights and really enjoyed our time! The location is really good, close to major sights like the Etna or Taormina, but it’s also close to the see, the highway as well as other towns around in case you would wanna go to a supermarket. There is also a really nice restaurant that offers a small, but high quality menu for very reasonable prices...

They have a lovely swimming pool and relaxing area. It is located in a quiet farm with lemon and citrus trees. You also have als view from certain rooms to the Etna Volcano. Helicopter flights available.

The place is nice and the prices is good. The staff was very nice and the food was good. I would stay here again. The rooms were very basic, but were clean and have everything you need. The property is nice to walk and the farm employees were very welcoming.

A new, modern hotel with beautiful design and comfortable rooms. Minor drawbacks include a small shower stall (even though the bathroom is large) and less-than-comfortable pillows. However, the service is excellent and everyone is willing to help with any questions. On clear days, the rooms overlooking Mount Etna and the pool area offer stunning views. Breakfasts are delicious and hearty.

We had a very pleasant stay. It's quite remote, so a car is essential. The rooms are very clean, but a bit noisy from other guests. Despite staying five nights, we unfortunately couldn't use the restaurant; every evening there was a different reason why we couldn't dine. The breakfast is very tasty. this resort/estate is really big, little bit outside from the town, near the ocean. in the middle of a really big lemon plantation. its calm, relaxed and very quiet. the owner (and i think his mom and dad) were extremely friendly and cute. the rooms are clean and you also have a kitchen and a sofa to chill. also the rooms re very big. from some of them you can see the etna in front, very cool....

Just spent a week here. Accomodation was basic but spotlessly clean. Lovely pool area, with lots of young people having a great time. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Staff were great. The staff at Villaggio Alkantara could not have been better. Everyone was so helpful. Antonella and Linda in the bar were so friendly and Irene and the rest of the cleaning team couldn't do enough for us. Luca at reception also deserves a shout out for being great. An excellent location with nearby swimming beaches and restaurants. Small and comfortable hotel in a thriving resort, clean, good breakfast and friendly staff. Wifi excellent. Good access to local buses for trips to Catania,Taormina and for airport transfers (booked in advance online, 'Etna' transport). We used it as a hiking base with a private group minibus facilitated.

Lovely stay at Kalos Hotel after reading the reviews I must say the stay we had was better than expected firstly the breakfast is not just continental but bacon, eggs and mini sausages too. Secondly they do have a pool of their own you do not need to walk next door to use theirs. Good location as it was super close to Taormina but also easy to go to other parts of Sicily nearby. I was a bit disappointed by the service as I kept getting forgotten when I had a problem or needed to request something. The air conditioning in the room was controlled by reception and they told me it could not go lower than 21 degrees Celsius which was not enough for me.

Nice hotel near the beach. This hotel has its own beach and good fish restaurant. Breakfast was good but it was always late on schedule. Aircon worked and view to the beach was nice. There is noise outside in most if the nights since there are bars and disco nearby. Grocery shop is one block away.

This was definitely the best accomodation that I had during my trip to Sicily. I had a lovely room with direct view to Mount Etna. The food was amazing and the staff at the reception very obliging.

Immaculately clean rooms, kind and helpful staff, strikingly delicious food in the reustrant, and intelligent elegant design all around make for a well earned 5 star review. Add this to the very modest fees for logging and food, make a stay here an easy, 100% unqualified recommendation for any foray to or around Mt. Etna.

Fantastic. AAA+++ The owner and staff are outstanding….you feel like you are with family. The hotel is exquisite not a single detail over looked. A gem of a find. I will NEVER stay anywhere else.

Overall okay, the service and facilities were okay, the breakfast was good. But the cleaning was not okay and the cleaning lady left the door unlocked on several occasions. Which was very unpleasant when you have all your luggage there.

Overall, the experience is OK, it is more suitable for vacation, the price/performance ratio is good, it is close to the beach, it is very convenient to go to the beach, but the facilities are old, especially the elevator, and there are not many types of breakfast

Lovely hotel a little dated but clean and spacious. Impressive dining room with extensive choice of food for break fast. Effective staff who sorted any issues out quickly and professionally. Excellent view of the bay from the front and views of Etna to the rear.

Very close (few meters by foot) from the beach, restaurants and shops. Bus stop approx 10mins walk away. Very nice view from balcony on Etna, clean rooms, good cleaning ladies and receptionists. Breakfast' quality average but many food choices to pick from.

Best ever service and stuff, cleaning of room daily, food choice is like a 5 star hotel and nothing from these bad comments seems like true. Location is much better the to go to Taormina or elsewhere, where you do not have so many beaches in front of you. Perfect place to go. For less budget you get it all.

Lovely hotel nice size room next to the beach

A structure a little dated, but very clean, I recommend it especially for the location, you are practically on the beach, clean and comfortable rooms, the only thing is that in my room the air conditioner was very noisy but otherwise I recommend it especially for those who have children

Good location ... structure should be soundproofed a bit. You can hear everything from the outside and from the inside. The rooms to the bare minimum. Decent breakfast !!! Perhaps the prices would be fairer if they were a little lower, since you can stay in large 4-star hotels nearby, with a few euros more.
