Hotel Isola Sacra Rome Airport

This is a great hotel - a little oasis - particularly for guests looking for a hotel near the airport. We also found it to be a convenient location from which to drive in to Rome for dinner and a nice evening on the town. There is an active late afternoon/early evening cocktail hour by the pool that was popular during our stay. Poolside dining is also available. Parking is plentiful and convenient. The courtesy breakfast provides many offerings including scrambled eggs, prosciutto, customized coffee options, fruit and pastries with ample, comfortable seating. It's a great business or tourist hotel!

We spent 5 days at Isola Sacra after a week in Roma. The location was perfect. Peace and tranquility away from the busy city was needed. A beautiful well maintained hotel. Rooms were fantastic, cleaned daily and up to date. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Checkin and checkout very efficient with a quick shuttle back to the airport.
My only blemish is better communication to guests about the taxi service around Fiumicino. It’s typically a flat rate and not metered. We paid 60 Euro for a service arranged by Hotel front desk that took us to a restaurant only 7min away - service needed because our mother cannot walk far. This price for the short haul is not acceptable.
Other than that we loved our stay and would definitely come again. It’s a great hotel just on location and access to airport alone.

Hotel Isola Sacra is close to Fiumicino Airport and so was an easy choice for our overnight stay as we needed to be at the airport earlyish the next morning. After our respective flights into Rome, we were very happy to be able to pick up the Hotel shuttle service to take us there. The bus was very easy to locate outside the arrivals area. On reaching the Hotel, helpful reception staff provided us with all the information we needed for our stay. We quickly settled in to our room and then went down to the very newly opened poolside bar (it had only opened the day before!) and enjoyed a couple of refreshing drinks. It was a haven after the hectic travelling we’d done and the staff there were delightful.
No need to worry about where we’d go for dinner because we only had to stroll to the restaurant and there we were able to eat a relaxed meal. Enchanting atmosphere in the restaurant. All so convenient and stress free - this was the glorious thing about our stay.
Next morning, an early delicious breakfast and we were off again.

We stayed here for a night pre-cruise and also at the end of our two week trip. We had a triple room and there was plenty of space (both rooms) and it was clean. Shower was fantastic and a/c really worked! Pool was lovely. Staff was great before we arrived and once we were there. They helped us with car service to cruise port. They have a restaurant and there is one restaurant very close - about a 3 minute walk. I would stay here again for ease of travel when flying in/out of Rome.

Nice modern room, although the bedspread were tacky. We got a terrace overlooking the pretty pool which you have to PAY TO USE!!! that is crazy and really a cheap trick. I stay here often to allow an early morning departure back to the US. I will say that yet again the restaurant was STELLAR!! the same super enthusiastic man runs it, we had one of the best ravioli dishes of my entire vacation and my friend had an outstanding pizza. Really really good. The did however redecorate the restaurant from modern and upbeat to used looking rusty. Not very nice. But we ate outdoors and had a lovely meal. It was hard to find the transport van at the airport and ended up taking a taxi instead. But the early morning van to the airport was fine.

Not really above or below expectations. The rooms were nice, just like the breakfast. The swimming pool wasn't ideal, because we had to pay for it.
