Hotel Gajeta in Gaeta

Staff were wonderful and welcoming and we were upgraded to a room with a balcony. Views across the water were lovely! Also, very walkable to restaurants and the Montagna and the medieval town.

Unfortunately, construction/renovation within the hotel (top floor?) started around 8:30am and was quite disruptive. We had already been woken up at 8am by the loud 8am daily flag raising ceremony at the US naval base across the street.

My wife and I had a wonderful time in Gaeta The hotel was clean, and the views from our room were stunning . We were walking distance to all of Gaeta’s attractions

The hotel, which is located in a stunning location right at the entrance to the medieval citadel, was nice and clean, and the terrace, the small but cosy, partially open-air gym, and the common areas were well-kept. The beach was accessible by free shuttle, and the hotel also provides free sun loungers and umbrellas. Free parking. We got a room with a sea view and a small terrace with deck chairs. Apart from the price of the room, breakfast was included, which was good. The buffet, quite decent, included everything from eggs to croissants to fruit. A nice mix of options. Breakfast was served in the dining room and on the terrace overlooking the sea. The concierge staff were very friendly, as were the ladies in charge of breakfast in the morning. Overall, for the price, it was a great place to stay and one to consider if you want to avoid the tourist area of ​​this charming city.

It was a good location across from a Navy/Military base. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Hotel Gaeta is clean and offers a wonderful view of the Gulf, with the NATO base located just across the street. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming—always greeting you with a warm “good morning.” The breakfast is delightful, and the terrace adds a charming touch to the experience. I especially appreciated the free parking, which made things very convenient. The rooms were spacious and spotless. Since it was April and the walls had been recently painted, the space felt a bit sterile—but that’s likely temporary. Everything is within walking distance, making it easy to explore Gaeta on foot. Overall, I truly loved this hotel and would gladly stay again.

Good value, helpful staff
This hotel is well-located and easily-walkable to little shops and cafes. The price was fair for the room (and breakfast!) and we got a room with a balcony which was lovely. The staff was all super helpful and even accomodated our strange requests including helping me figure out how to use the washer/dryer. Thanks so much for a nice stay!

Very conveniently located, walking distance to medieval city and restaurants, super friendly staff. There is a free shuttle to the beach and Agostino will take you there in no time. Ideal for sightseeing and exploring Gaeta and also going to the beaches . There is also a small gym with latest Technogym equipment on third floor, to workout with a dramatic view over the bay .

We have stayed here multiple times, and recently spent the first 5 nights of our honeymoon here. The hotel is perfectly located between "old" and "new" Gaeta, and directly across from the Navy pier. Serapo beach is a 10 minute walk. Highly recommend a room with a walk out balcony (third floor). The view is incredible. Everyone here is helpful (and speak enough English to communicate well), the rooms are clean, and the price is reasonable.
