We went to this hotel after a disastrous experience at another hotel and would just like to thank Hotel Ancora for saving our trip.

This hotel has friendly, professional staff and offered a beautiful, spacious and clean room with a lake view that had all amenities we needed.
The room service was exceptional as well.

We also booked the breakfast, which was tasty and offered a satisfying variety of foods, from savory to sweet. Baked goods, fruit, vegetables - you name it.

Thank you again, we enjoyed the week here. The hotel made up for the rainy weather with its coziness and turned our vacation into a romantic getaway.

Fantastic stay in this impeccably renovated small hotel, with breathtaking views of Lago Maggiore. Thanks to the excellent insulation, we slept peacefully despite the closeness of the road. A special shout out to the very nice ladies at reception.

Very friendly atmosphere! We especially appreciated the welcome bar with champagne, all day access to water, coffee, the and yummy snacks, the lovely breakfast, and friendly staff. Of course the location of the hotel was excellent as well!

Hotel wasn't the biggest but everything was excellent even my expectations. Breakfast- better than excellent. Car parking secured in garage 2 min walk. Very convenient location.

Staff was unwelcoming and not very invested in their role of hospitality. Their lack of effort for advice and help was extremely anemic. For this reason alone I would not go back.
