Perfect location by the train station with a stunning lobby and classy hotel bar. The rooms themselves were a bit dated and given the age of the building you can hear a lot of foot traffic above you and in the adjacent rooms. The elevator is quite small, especially if you are fitting Americans inside it. Pleasant visit though. Cocktails are a must!

This hotel is only 2 mins away from La Spezia Centrale train station. The hotel has an old and new wings. The breakfast has a generous spread.

Unfortunately the service at this hotel was very poor. The only positive thing about this hotel is the location and the cleaning staff.
- The room was extremely noisy (banging throughout the night similar to heavy footsteps).
- The staff at the front desk were unprepared to answer any questions or help with us with any of our requests.
- We were three guests yet they gave us only one room key and when we asked for another we were told we need to bring it back immediately.
- Moreover, they do not inform you that your room will not be cleaned unless you leave the sign on the door specifically requesting it.
- There is only one elevator which is very small, slow and noisy. Had to give up and take the stairs a few times.
In summary, during our stay here we were made to feel more like an inconvenience than welcome guests.

The Staff are incredibly nice, the breakfast and happy hour was amazingly good. The room super clean and classy. Top place.

Very professionally run. We had a nice room with modern conveniences. Extremely helpful front desk. Were quite pleased with the breakfast. Would certainly return.

Been in Italy 2 weeks, and this was one of our best hotel experiences.

Fantastic location as it is only a few minutes walk from train station. We walked back and forth between the station and the hotel over 2 days, as we bought a 2 day Cinque Terre train pass which worked really well for us.
Included breakfast at hotel was excellent and served in a nice room with views on the 5th floor.
Our room was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. Large bathroom with separate bedroom was fantastic!
Short walk to all kinds of shops in La Spezia. Felt like a pretty safe place in general and usually there were many other people on the streets we walked, day and evening.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Near la Spezia centrale train station, useful for day visit to 5 terre. Old style hotel but good
