Great base for our Cinque Terre walks. Amazing views of the harbour from our room. Hotel was clean and modern, and our room was very spacious. Recommended.
Although the room was quite small, it was modern and perfectly appointed. The view was great and we enjoyed sitting at the small table watching the view. The staff were extremely friendly. The location was great as well.
Outstanding location for a hotel right on the sea and every room has a sea view which is great. The hotel has all basic amenities and is not far from pier and the historic city centre. Breakfast is good relative to Europe standards
We stayed 2 nights here while traveling to Cinque Terre. Room was wonderful- even if it was small, it was well equipped and luxurious. We had a sea view room and the view was gorgeous. We walked to the harbor where we watched the fishing boat come back and walked the bridge. It’s a beautiful town. We walked to the central train station and it takes 20-25 min walk. The town is in the middle where there...
Really great hotel, nice people and good food, we were here for a weekend and the experience was excellent, Simona at the reception was very nice and helpful, they gave us a free aperitivo for my friend's birthday, the rooms was perfect very clean and aesthetic.
We visited the area to see Cinqe Terra! The hotel is located about 25 minutes walk from the train that takes you to the villages. We found the room we got relatively small but clean and contemporary. The breakfast was satisfactory. There is parking near by and overall worked out for us as a launch pad for visiting beautiful Cinque terra

Nearby the shopping street, walking distance from the train station to cinque Terre. They have private parking €12,50 but for 5 Days we never have a chance to park inside the parking area. But luckily we keep asking the reception to LET us know if the parking outside is available so they keep on eye on it Who is going to check out. Happy about it and parking outside the hotel is Free. Take note the...
The hotel is in a convenient location. The rooms vary in size, but most are not very large and they start to show their age. The rooms are kept perfectly clean. The breakfast is simple but sufficient. So far dinner has been disappointing. The main problem I have is that the neighborhood is very noisy and I like to keep my window open at night. The people working at the hotel are friendly.
Amazing hotel with exceptional housekeepers. The breakfast is top notch and the location is pretty good. Only reservations are the abysmal wifi and the turtle like speed of the elevator.
Excellent strategic position. It is about ten minutes walk from the central railway station, right in the city center, historical and shopping district and a five minutes walk from the famous museums like world famous Amedeo Lia museum and the naval Museum, right to it's entrance you get access to the funicular to the castle and archaeological museum for a breath talking city bird's eye view. It has...
Hotel has two entrances. There's one that's convenient for cars and within walking distance of the train station, and one in the pedestrian only area. Great location
Very clean, very good location. The staff are very helpful. The breakfast has an abundance of options which were very tasty.

Last time the hotel was furnished must be in the 70ts, it is clean but outdated. Good place to stay if you are just sleeping there and you want to park your car securely so that one can explore Cinque Terre by train. The station La Spezia is 5 minutes away from the hotel. Price is good considering the interior of the hotel. Friendly service.

This hotel is only 2 mins away from La Spezia Centrale train station. The hotel has an old and new wings. The breakfast has a generous spread.
The Staff are incredibly nice, the breakfast and happy hour was amazingly good. The room super clean and classy. Top place.
Perfect location by the train station with a stunning lobby and classy hotel bar. The rooms themselves were a bit dated and given the age of the building you can hear a lot of foot traffic above you and in the adjacent rooms. The elevator is quite small, especially if you are fitting Americans inside it. Pleasant visit though. Cocktails are a must!
Been in Italy 2 weeks, and this was one of our best hotel experiences. Front desk staff friendly, helpful, and professional. Fantastic location as it is only a few minutes walk from train station. We walked back and forth between the station and the hotel over 2 days, as we bought a 2 day Cinque Terre train pass which worked really well for us. Included breakfast at hotel was excellent and served...
Its actually a great place to stay despite its low star rating. Its clean and staff are very friendly
Very professionally run. We had a nice room with modern conveniences. Extremely helpful front desk. Were quite pleased with the breakfast. Would certainly return.

Nice hotel. Quiet area, good breakfast. Clean rooms and friendly staff. We even got a lunch package because we left early on our last day. Good value for money!!
Hotel Nella is a bit out of the way in a good way. Away from all the people staying in the town of La Spezia but easily accessible by a cab for 15 Euro or by the bus which takes about 10 mins and picks you up right opposite the hotel . It's clean and quiet . The man at the desk is very kind and helpful. He had a room ready for me much earlier than the check in time. The breakfast was perfect...
The service was amazing, and the breakfast was good. However the hotel was a bit old, and unfortunately it showed. The room became damp without the A/C, and the bathroom fan was broken and noisy. Free parking was definetly a plus, and the city 10 minutes away by car
The hotel is located in the highest area of La Spezia in a situation 10 minutes from the city center and surrounded by nature. The clean rooms equipped with every comfort ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff are extraordinarily friendly and helpful and I highly recommend it for both a short and a weekly vacation.

Me and my family spent 2 days at this hotel. Although the furniture wasn’t great ( 80’s style I think ) the hotel rooms / lobby were sparkling clean even the curtains smelled good 😊. My husband room smelled a bit of cigarette 🚬 but I guess if people are doing things against the rules by smoking inside or perhaps with the balcony door open this is nothing to do with the hotel organisation. Perhaps...
The staff is really very friendly and very nice. And they are always here to help. The hotel is a little bit old but comfortable and clean. I recomand this Hotel and will book there if I come back.
We loved the hotel. The room was big enough for family of four adults. The bathroom was super clean. The front desk staff was very helpful to identify the tourist attractions to visit. Great value for price. Visiting from New York only for two days.

Hosts were super friendly and helpful, we received plenty of information about Cinque Terre on arrival. They sent detailed information prior to check-in via whatsapp and even let us print train tickets in their office. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect base for travelling Cinque Terre as its so close to the train station!
Very warm welcome. The rooms have been decorated with care and exist of a mix between modern and older furniture. The location is also perfect. Only a short walk to the station.
We stayed for one night while visiting Cinque Terra. Perfect location, next to the train station. Private parking. The room was really nice decorated and the bed very comfortable. The voucher for the breakfast was perfect, we went to C Bon and it was excellent. Erica was really great while I was making my booking and the information we got in the room was really helpful. I really recommend this place
Great attention to details, tastefully decorated rooms. Above and beyond staff. Ideal location in the city next to the train station. Rooms are located on the ground floor and are partially subterranean. It means you can never fully get rid of humidity and then specific smell. Also even though there are windows, they are blinded (but transparent) so you have limited natural light. I believe, this should...
Very strange to reach by car, felt a little doubtful about my choice. Once you're actually inside, it's a very lovely and nicely furnished room with the perfect size for a young couple. Very clean and good shower aswell. Great location, only 3mins to the train station for Cinque Terre and 5mins to the old town of La Spezia. Breakfast is actually a coupon for a coffee and 1 brioche in one of 4 caffes...
We were four friends, this was quite narrow especially in the very small bath. Otherwise very good location to the city, easy check in and out, lovely furnished. The air conditioning was quite useless and did not manage to cool the room down sufficiently. No daylight due to our location on the ground floor and the temperature outside (to cool down the room). Our shower broke in the second night. Frustrating...

Very close to the trainstation: perfect if you wanna go to Cinque Terre. Parking is a real problem in this area. The hotel has own parking places, so that is great too. Recommend it because of the location and free parking. We didn’t take the breakfast because we thought we could have better breakfast, cheaper, close. Because you’re very close to the center of La Spezia with lots of bakery’s and restaurants
We stayed 4 nights and it was great. Good place to visit the Cinque Terre because it's just next to the train station. The staff is friendly and professional. The breakfast is also great, lots of choices.
Quiet clean room, great selection @ breakfast. Friendly warm staff. Situated opposite raiway short walk to town centre.
We chose Hotel Mary as our base to visit the Cinque Terre. We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is across the road from the train station and a few minutes walk to the main area of La Spezia so pretty much ideal. Breakfast was included and consisted of a very good buffet (cakes, cold meats, sausage, cheese, fresh yoghurt, fruit etc). We paid €60 a night which was not far off the cheapest at the time....
Well located hotel just in front of the train station. Decent breakfast served. Room was nice but could have been cleaner (especially bathroom). A but of a noisy neighborhood though even at night.
The hotel is conveniently next to the train station, so the location is excellent. They also provide excellent breakfast - lots of variety and tasty food. My only complaint is there was quite a bit of mildew in the shower - it could use some cleaning. So, I took off one star for that. Everything else was great.

The descent to the beautiful deserted beach is located directly under the hotel, in time you can go down to the beach in 40 minutes, climb in an hour. But the road to it is really not very easy, therefore it is recommended only for trained people. Highly recommend and plan to come here again!
Possibility to go trekking among the vineyards and the Mediterranean scrub, to access the sea through a spectacular mule track or to relax in the middle of nature away from the confusion in a part of the still authentic part of the 5 Terre Park. Hotel with attention to detail with stylish furnishings and stunning views of the sea as far as the eye can see.
Very well cared for structure in a historic building with rooms overlooking the sea providing an incredible view. Ideal for those who love trekking, nature and tranquility. With a little effort along an ancient mule track you reach the beach of Persico, a unique and wild place,

Super nice location which takes only 2-3 minutes from the railway station. We stay here for 2 separate night for walking around Cinque Terre. We got room facing the railway station on higher floor at first night. Luckily that it is not noicy. Came here after more than a year with a couple of friends. Super friendly staff and amazing location, in a couple of minutes we were at the train station.
Good hotel on a budget and friendly staff. Due to its location it can get very noisy at night. They can improve their facilities but overall they treated me and my family very well and gave us good recommendations. Thank you!!
Amazing, kind staff. I had injured my leg while traveling and was transported back to the La Spezia for treatment. When I was released, I could not walk far. We had no place to stay. The staff went out of their way to help us with a place to stay for the night, helped us get what we needed to accommodate my disability, and even helped us to the train and on our way. Gracie mille!
Loved the hotel wth minimum requirements with the clininess. It's very nearer to the La spezia central and many supermarkets u can find nearby. The bestet hotel with the minimum price. By chance if u got an upper floor as ur room, ul b getting a very nice view of the surroundings.
The shared bathroom was not always clean (although 24/24 was not expected) and the mattresses were just awful - noisy and uncomfortable. We were supposed to have a double bed but got 2 single beds put together instead, although not at the same level in height. Good for value, I would say, and close to the train station, which is a plus to visit 5terre. There must be better options (and cheaper) out...
Decent price, but very hot and noisy room - it felt like all the cars drove straight through our room all night long. Shared bathroom in the corridor.

Great location, very clean and refurbished hotel. Rooms with AC, great soundproof windows and good mattresses to ensure a great sleep time.
Awesome atmosphere here, staff were very friendly, rooms nice and clean & great location. Will come back here agaon really enjoyed my stay.
Location, cleanliness, quiet, decent wifi. 15 minutes walk from train/bus station. Nice garden bar. Beside high end retail and restaurants. More or less this hotel fits short term stay.
Bit dated but very conveniently located and has everything you need. Keys are huge and a pain, then you are expected to leave them at reception which I wasn't keen on
Great value. Good location near marina, castle, and train station. Nice shower, albeit small. Great sound-proofed windows. Pillows are too flat.

It's a well situated place, we had a nice stay. It was a basic room with a double bed. Little plus, there was a sink in the room. It was a calm night but we didn't see the other travellers. Overall it was good!
Great experience. The rooms are great value for the location and the owners have some great recommendations to get your most out of your time in the area.
Superb price for a base for Cinque Terre. Owner was very accommodating when my train was delayed past check in time.
The room is nice , with everything needed for being in Cinque terre , the owners are so good and ready to help you with everything , perfect relation with the price. Thanks for everything
Great place to stay ! Alice & Antonio are so nice and give great advice. If you're lucky enough, you may have a room with Chagall paintings and pictures of Truffaut.
Really liked this place, the owner makes it 5⭐️! Simple but for the price it's unbeatable. They even helped us store our bikes! What a WIN!

Excellent room! Beautiful view. Carlotta was very accommodating and even drove us into town on morning. Breakfast was nice and a great way to start the day. We couldn't have been happier.
The best Hosts & View from La Spezia. If you are planning to go to Cinque Terre then that’s an amazing stay. The only bad thing about this place is the beds. They felt like they were made of stacked cardboard, but we were tired enough from our travels in Cinque Terre that is didn’t matter. The people running the place are very friendly and accommodating of requests. The walk from the hotel to the central train station is nice in the mornings. Definitely recommend!
