Great base for our Cinque Terre walks. Amazing views of the harbour from our room. Hotel was clean and modern, and our room was very spacious. Recommended.

Although the room was quite small, it was modern and perfectly appointed. The view was great and we enjoyed sitting at the small table watching the view. The staff were extremely friendly. The location was great as well.

Really great hotel, nice people and good food, we were here for a weekend and the experience was excellent, Simona at the reception was very nice and helpful, they gave us a free aperitivo for my friend's birthday, the rooms was perfect very clean and aesthetic.

We visited the area to see Cinqe Terra! The hotel is located about 25 minutes walk from the train that takes you to the villages. We found the room we got relatively small but clean and contemporary. The breakfast was satisfactory. There is parking near by and overall worked out for us as a launch pad for visiting beautiful Cinque terra

This hotel is only 2 mins away from La Spezia Centrale train station. The hotel has an old and new wings. The breakfast has a generous spread.

Perfect location by the train station with a stunning lobby and classy hotel bar. The rooms themselves were a bit dated and given the age of the building you can hear a lot of foot traffic above you and in the adjacent rooms. The elevator is quite small, especially if you are fitting Americans inside it. Pleasant visit though. Cocktails are a must!

Nearby the shopping street, walking distance from the train station to cinque Terre. They have private parking €12,50 but for 5 Days we never have a chance to park inside the parking area. The hotel is in a convenient location. The rooms vary in size, but most are not very large and they start to show their age. The rooms are kept perfectly clean. The breakfast is simple but sufficient. So far dinner has been disappointing. The main problem I have is that the neighborhood is very noisy and I like to keep my window open at night. The people working at the hotel are friendly.

Me and my family spent 2 days at this hotel. Although the furniture wasn’t great ( 80’s style I think ) the hotel rooms / lobby were sparkling clean even the curtains smelled good 😊. My husband room smelled a bit of cigarette 🚬 but I guess if people are doing things against the rules by smoking inside or perhaps with the balcony door open this is nothing to do with the hotel organisation. Very close to the trainstation: perfect if you wanna go to Cinque Terre. Parking is a real problem in this area. The hotel has own parking places, so that is great too. Recommend it because of the location and free parking. We didn’t take the breakfast because we thought we could have better breakfast, cheaper, close. Because you’re very close to the center of La Spezia with lots of bakery’s and restaurants

We stayed 4 nights and it was great. Good place to visit the Cinque Terre because it's just next to the train station. The staff is friendly and professional. The breakfast is also great, lots of choices.

We chose Hotel Mary as our base to visit the Cinque Terre. We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is across the road from the train station and a few minutes walk to the main area of La Spezia so pretty much ideal. Breakfast was included and consisted of a very good buffet (cakes, cold meats, sausage, cheese, fresh yoghurt, fruit etc). We paid €60 a night which was not far off the cheapest at the time....

Well located hotel just in front of the train station. Decent breakfast served. Room was nice but could have been cleaner (especially bathroom). A but of a noisy neighborhood though even at night.

The hotel is conveniently next to the train station, so the location is excellent. They also provide excellent breakfast - lots of variety and tasty food. My only complaint is there was quite a bit of mildew in the shower - it could use some cleaning. So, I took off one star for that. Everything else was great.

The descent to the beautiful deserted beach is located directly under the hotel, in time you can go down to the beach in 40 minutes, climb in an hour. But the road to it is really not very easy, therefore it is recommended only for trained people. Highly recommend and plan to come here again!

We got room facing the railway station on higher floor at first night. Luckily that it is not noicy. Super location. Good hotel. But breakfast was in different building and not so good. There are many other places where you can get breakfast with good price near hotel. So I suggest to make booking without a breakfast

Amazing, kind staff. I had injured my leg while traveling and was transported back to the La Spezia for treatment. When I was released, I could not walk far. We had no place to stay. The staff went out of their way to help us with a place to stay for the night, helped us get what we needed to accommodate my disability, and even helped us to the train and on our way. Loved the hotel wth minimum requirements with the clininess. It's very nearer to the La spezia central and many supermarkets u can find nearby. The bestet hotel with the minimum price. By chance if u got an upper floor as ur room, ul b getting a very nice view of the surroundings.

The shared bathroom was not always clean (although 24/24 was not expected) and the mattresses were just awful - noisy and uncomfortable. We were supposed to have a double bed but got 2 single beds put together instead, although not at the same level in height. Good for value, I would say, and close to the train station, which is a plus to visit 5terre. There must be better options (and cheaper) out...

Decent price, but very hot and noisy room - it felt like all the cars drove straight through our room all night long. Shared bathroom in the corridor.

Location, cleanliness, quiet, decent wifi. 15 minutes walk from train/bus station. Nice garden bar. Beside high end retail and restaurants. More or less this hotel fits short term stay.

Bit dated but very conveniently located and has everything you need. Keys are huge and a pain, then you are expected to leave them at reception which I wasn't keen on

It's a well situated place, we had a nice stay. It was a basic room with a double bed. Little plus, there was a sink in the room. It was a calm night but we didn't see the other travellers. Overall it was good!

Hotel Nella is a bit out of the way in a good way. Away from all the people staying in the town of La Spezia but easily accessible by a cab for 15 Euro or by the bus which takes about 10 mins and picks you up right opposite the hotel . It's clean and quiet . The man at the desk is very kind and helpful. He had a room ready for me much earlier than the check in time. The breakfast was perfect...

The service was amazing, and the breakfast was good. However the hotel was a bit old, and unfortunately it showed. The room became damp without the A/C, and the bathroom fan was broken and noisy. Free parking was definetly a plus, and the city 10 minutes away by car

The hotel is located in the highest area of La Spezia in a situation 10 minutes from the city center and surrounded by nature. The clean rooms equipped with every comfort ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff are extraordinarily friendly and helpful and I highly recommend it for both a short and a weekly vacation.

Staff was extremely nice and helpful! always gave us good tips where to go! Parking is good around the hotel look for the white parking spots near the dock which are free otherwise it is 18€ at the Hotel. Breakfast was OK very very simple. It is a 25 walk to the train station but otherwise very good location and it is quite fast by bus! The rooms are very clean and comfortable

The only bad thing about this place is the beds. They felt like they were made of stacked cardboard, but we were tired enough from our travels in Cinque Terre that is didn’t matter. The people running the place are very friendly and accommodating of requests. The walk from the hotel to the central train station is nice in the mornings. Definitely recommend!

The accommodation was fantastic. The view of our apartment was simply exceptional and we truly enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bay. Take advantage of the nice pizzeria around the corner, it's worth it.

Things we loved about our stay: 1-The view: very large windows made it so easy to enjoy the view. We also loved our private patio. 2-The pool: pool was nice too, not crowded and fantastic view. 3-the front desk lady was helpful. Things we didn’t like: 1-location! If you are planning to use public transportation this is not the best location. It has limited bus option and while we were there taxis...

The price is on the high side compared to the quality. The hygiene is ok but I was sorry to find hair in the shower. We had a lot of mosquitoes even though we kept windows and doors closed. The windows were open on arrival. The kitchen was a disappointment. We would have liked clean dishcloths. It is a beautiful building with a sublime view. We enjoyed the pool.

One of the best places I've stayed in a very long time. Arrived here with my wife as one of the destinations in our driving tour of Northern Italy. The owner Lucia was so warm and friendly on arrival. She waited for us even though we were very late! She welcomed us with a bottle of local wine. What a lovely surprise! Mira Mare in La Spezia has a wonderful location with an extraordinary view. We stayed in the apartment il Liceo', with a tasteful interior and a large terrace. Lucia and her team are very kind and helpful and they do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We would really recommend this holiday-location to everyone!

The villa is very nice , its a bit up in the mountains which is good and very relaxing (if you are looking for peaceful and out of the loud and bustled of the city) this place is for you very romantic especially if you’re couple. Very pleasant and comfortable hotel on the heights of La Spezia. Pretty (small) rooms all with a terrace and a superb view of the bay. Great pool, impeccable service and excellent restaurant. The hotel has a shuttle. But it is better to have your own means of transport (eg to go to Cinque Terre or Porto Venere) because the hotel is rather isolated.
