Reviews
Price quality and place very good.
Normally with car rental, but now all by train, Cinque Terre, Genoa all easy to reach.
We find one the best restaurant in La Spezia, so we are happy
If you wanted to have tea/coffee - go down stairs to get milk, then sit on your bed.
Towels seemed like they came from a $2 shop - not pleasant to use.
Breakfast - eggs and bacon put out at the start and never refreshed in our 5 days. They looked and tasted like plastic. The less I say about service at breakfast the better - i.e. nothing cleared away till after you left.
The location is near the station - but don't walk with your cases as the paving is very rough. And at night my wife would not walk on some of the nearby streets.
The rooms were serviced but the hallways were dirty, and the stairs around the lift well are a disgrace. Also there is no handrail on the stairs making it potentially very dangerous.
The hotel tries to be "chic" - but this does not make up for lack of basic amenities and support, including no porter support, water on arrival etc.
Sorry - cannot recommend this for any reason.
The room, while compact at around 14-16 square meters, is cozy and comfortable.
The reception staff were pleasant and provided helpful information about the town.
Parking can be a minor inconvenience, as it is located 500 meters from the hotel and offers limited spaces shared with others, though it is situated within a secure building on the third floor. Better reserve before you come to hotel.
The bed in the room is very comfortable, and it might be beneficial to add an additional ceiling light above the clothing hanger to assist guests in selecting items later in the evening.
A small, wall-mounted refrigerator is provided, but its operation can be a bit noisy at night, which may be bothersome to some. Fortunately, all things inside, it's included already.
The shower pressure is excellent, and the bathroom, while small, feels surprisingly spacious and clean.
Regarding breakfast, it might be improved by including simple salad options or items like lettuce or baked beans.
Overall, the breakfast is adequate but not particularly exciting.
In conclusion, this hotel offers a great value for its price, providing a comfortable room and convenient access to Cinque Terre, making it a worthwhile choice for a stay.
