A fabulous family ran hotel with great food and wonderfully friendly staff

Room was cleaned every day, tv set and internet were working well, good selection of food and coffee for breakfast, very tasty dishes from the menu

Our family stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights and I have to say the views from the restaurant and pool are spectacular. The food was also great! The location is okay, but you must have a car. There is not much around that you could reach otherwise. The town of Como is only 10 minutes away by car. The hotel is relatively small. The room was nice (family deluxe) with an air conditioned bedroom, en suite w/ shower and a separate sitting room or second bedroom. It's on the side of a fairly major route north along the lake's west coast and the parking is directly opposite the hotel meaning it can be tricky to cross between the parking and the hotel (a light controlled crossing is a few tens of meters...

The whole setting is just beautiful. The food at the restaurant was delicious, including breakfast. The whole experience was just amazing. Parking can be a little tight but you can use both sides of the garage on the inside which makes it better.

Absolutely outstanding. The room was the best of the eight hotels we stayed in during our trip. The view was fantastic and the breakfast was a big plus. The parking was free but not ideal because restaurant guests took all of the spots. The hotel did make room for us eventually.

This hotel is open!!!!! His piano playing should not be kept hidden! We had a lovely stay and the staff were great and the rooms were clean and spacious! The restaurant featured inside the hotel on the first floor was the best!

Lovely B&B in Carate Urio just a few km north of Como. Easily accessible from the autostrade, but far enough away to be able to enjoy the peace and quiet. Faboulous breakfast served in the garden with freshly baked goods and homemade jams. Great views of the lake from the room.

The check-in time was up to 8pm but we would get there later. The staff was kind to leave instructions and even printed out a sheet of paper with notes in our room. That was very kind and helpful. The rooms have a small kitchen with silverware and some dishes and the view is really nice.

Nice stay at this small hotel on the shores of Lake Como. Good value for the price, unobstructed views of the lake, clean, and great service. The additional fee for breakfast is almost a must, as there is not much else around. This is the perfect place to come relax on the lake for a few days. Ristorante Vapore was also very good!

Hotel was wonderful and restaurant was very good! Hardest part was finding transportation to and from the hotel and the water taxi stops less frequently than other stops so plan accordingly.

The best place to stay and eat if you visit nesso. The staff is so friendly and they will help you in whatever thing you want. I really enjoyed my stay with the beautiful view from the room they offered us. Best place to try sea food local plates and mostly the pizza. It’s amazing how they made my weekend enjoyable. I came across this gem when descending from ghisello. It was sunny but very very cold and by the time I was down at the lake, I was frozen through. The owner peeled me off my bike and brought me inside to sit by his wood fired pizza oven and fed me warm cornetto and coffee. I truly felt blessed that day. Just another beautiful moment of my cycling in Italy.

Accommodation in a spacious house next to the villa. (Apartment above the garage) Parking for one car inside and another on the narrow road. Pleasant garden and sitting by the Lake. Beautiful B&B with stunning lakeviews! Located in a little village between Como and Bellagio, this oasis has the nicest hosts, great breakfast and the perfect spot to relax over Como. If you don't have a car, you probably want to takr a taxi. The bus does go there but they are inconsistent and the transfer timings don't align. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Villa Ortensie is pure heaven, a gorgeous space with the sweetest hosts in a landscape that is breathtakingly beautiful. The views from the rooms and breakfast area are postcard-perfect. A great place to stay, very friendly and welcoming owners. The rooms are beautiful as is the view. A perfect spring board to the mountains for walks. Relax with a book by the fire or on one of the many terraces.

An unique family-run guest house with stunning view of Lake Como. Room is spacious and tidy, and host is welcoming. Breakfast is ok. Only thing is you definitely need to use their shuttle service, which is an interesting experience but you lose a bit of flexibility there as it's not operated 24/7 for obvious reasons. Would recommend if you're looking for somewhere quiet for a peaceful getaway!

The Taverna Del Giglio: the ideal starting point for exploring Lake Como and its renowned city. The tradition of the village perched on the western shore and with a breathtaking view, meets the typical Mediterranean hospitality. The service is excellent, concrete and genuine. Lovely little hotel with all the right amenities, warm and friendly service, and superbe location right at the Moltrasio ferry pier. With an award winning restaurant in-house and several cafes and restaurants nearby it's the perfect Como Lago getaway for a relaxed weekend or lakeside stopover.

This hotel was perfectly located in Moltrasio. Right across the street from the ferry which takes you to all the little towns along Lake Como. The restaurant was amazing for dinner with delicious food and incredible service. It included breakfast which was really well done and had everything you could ask for! Rooms were large and clean. It’s a old hotel and I’m not sure how it qualifies for 4 stars. I had to kill 2 bugs in the one night we stayed there. Room was cold and thermostat system was not switching to hot air. They do not have irons in the rooms for safety reasons (in the US even 3-star inns have irons in each room) and you need to go down to level 1 where they have an ironing room to iron your clothes.
