My family loved staying here so much! The staff at the hotel and restaurant were all very friendly. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. We also ate lunch and dinner here a few times, and it was also great. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance as we did not rent a car. They can help set up hotel transfers, and I’d highly recommend you do this option. We had room 202 next to the pool. This is such a special place. Book before they raise their prices, because they absolutely should. Great amenities (spa with sauna and hot tub, gym, pool, lounge area with games/books, accessible boat dock, etc). Thank you for your hospitality.

Property located in quiet, beautiful area in Lake Como. The room was quite nicely designed but as we understood after check-in different that the upper level suites which had pool access. Manager check-in was competent but not friendly. Restaurant food and staff were excellent

The whole setting is just beautiful. The food at the restaurant was delicious, including breakfast. The whole experience was just amazing.
Parking can be a little tight but you can use both sides of the garage on the inside which makes it better.

We chose this hotel spontaneously due to its high rating online, and it certainly lived up to it! The staff was incredibly helpful, and the rooms were carefully decorated and spotless. Our child loved the heated pool – it was small but clean and perfect for a relaxing swim with a stunning view of Lake Como. Breakfast was beautifully served at the hotel’s restaurant, adding a special touch to our mornings. The staff mentioned a spa is currently being developed, which sounds like a fantastic addition. We absolutely enjoyed our stay as a family and look forward to returning in the future!

The parking was free but not ideal because restaurant guests took all of the spots. The hotel did make room for us eventually.

I had a wonderful one-night stay at La Locanda del Cantiere. The room was spacious, clean, and offered a beautiful view of the lake. The staff provided excellent service, making the experience truly memorable. The food at the restaurant was fantastic, with delicious Italian dishes made from fresh ingredients. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Large, cozy and tidy rooms at a terrific location directly at Lake Como. The restaurant was way better than those in the neaby cities like Como, which, unfortunately and openly necessarily, rather focus on the masses of tourists. The menu seemed to vary on a daily basis, the food was fresh (handmade pasta) and extremely delicious, and the service took care of all our desires. We ordered an extra spaghetti that were not on the menu, which the service and the kitchen prepared without any hesitation and without overpricing. Also the breakfast was convincing - a small but fresh selection full of tast (instead of the usual breakfast with supermarket pastries). We had a great time at La Locanda, both the hotel and the restaurant, and would recommend it to anybody.

We were very fortunate to be able to stay in one of the new suites at the top. The listing says that it is a 3-star hotel, but these suites were something you would find in a 4 or 5-star hotel. Everything was so peaceful and d relaxing. It was our own private oasis for two nights. Breakfast was really good and was included with our stay. The manager and all of the staff were so polite and accommodating to us. I would absolutely come back here and stay in one of these new suites again. I would highly recommend staying here in lieu of one of the overpriced villas if you are here to attend a wedding. I would also recommend having a car because getting around Lake Como can be challenging and taxis are overpriced and hard to get. Our two nights here were the most relaxing of our entire stay.

Pro tip: Rent a boat and they will drop it off and pick it up at the public dock right in front of the hotel. This was probably one of our favorite things about our trip to Lake Como and it was super convenient that we could get the boat right in front of our hotel!
