I had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Hotel Imperiale and I must say it was a truly exceptional experience. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and all the modern amenities you could ask for.

But the real highlight of my stay was the breakfast. Oh, the breakfast! It was a sumptuous spread of fresh pastries, cheeses, meats, and eggs, all perfectly prepared and presented. The staff were attentive and friendly, refilling my plate with ease and answering any questions I had.

The location of the hotel was also convenient, with easy access to public transportation and many local attractions within walking distance.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Grand Hotel Imperiale to anyone looking for a comfortable and indulgent stay. The staff, rooms, and breakfast were all top-notch - I couldn't have asked for more!

This is a five star review from top to bottom for literally every single person that works at this Hotel.
Five star to Arianna the concierge that she was excellent with all her recommendations.
Five star to Christian for excellent service for our dinner and our late night snack.
Five star to the pastry Chef for the Apple Tart and sharing the recipe.
Five star to Adonis for great service every morning for breakfast. Highly recommend this Hotel excellent location, fantastic view, great food and the amazing team that made ou stay so wonderful.

It’s a old hotel and I’m not sure how it qualifies for 4 stars. I had to kill 2 bugs in the one night we stayed there. Room was cold and thermostat system was not switching to hot air. They do not have irons in the rooms for safety reasons (in the US even 3-star inns have irons in each room) and you need to go down to level 1 where they have an ironing room to iron your clothes. To be fair, we only checked-in late at night and left somewhat early in the morning so I have limited exposure to all that hotel has to offer. To me it is overpriced. We had dinner at Ristorante Ulivo and that was pretty good.

One of the best premium luxury suites and resorts in Como, Italy with direct access to the lake and country side as well. Options of both outdoor and indoor dining along with room service. The resort has an antique regal touch with a bit of modern flavour as well. We had a pleasant stay here and would highly recommend it for short stays. The food was amazing as well with a variety of restaurant options to choose from. Highly recommended.

This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. The hotel is listed as a 4 star but it is more like a 2 star. I pre-paid for 3 days but I left after 2 and lost the money I paid. Pros: 1. location. It is 2 minutes walk to ferry and right off the lake with beautiful views. 2. The pool by the lake. Con: 1. The room is rundown with old furnishings. There are no decorations. The walls are bare with the exception of a TV that doesn’t work. 2. The TV doesn’t work. After traveling through Europe for 2 weeks, I came to Lake Como to relax and do nothing in beautiful surroundings. I was looking forward to lazying around in a beautiful hotel room watching TV. No such luck here. 3. The bathroom sink didn’t drain well. 4. The water temperature barely got above cold, so I could not enjoy even a hot shower. 5. There is no iron in the room. You have to go downstairs to the iron room to use an iron. Such an inconvenience. 6. Pricing. This place is expensive for no reason. From the nightly rate to food prices. They say, you get what you pay for. I paid for way more than I got. If you stay here, do be informed.

Celebrated our wedding here and it was such a fantastic experience. We are grateful to Chiara and all of the extraordinary staff for all of their help. They made sure everything was perfect on our special day.

The room was gorgeous with a classic luxury interior. The breakfast buffet and room service were phenomenal. You can easily spend the day in the beautiful gardens and pool with a stunning view of the lake. Finally the relaxing spa made for an unforgettable stay.

I've never experienced anything like this in my life. My wife is hospitalized due to a brain lesion, so we had to cancel all our plans. However, this hotel refused to cancel our booking for an unreasonable reason. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. Despite sending several emails, I received no response. Their lack of compassion is appalling.

We had an amazing experience at the resort. Everyone from checkin, servers, and the pool staff were awesome. We were blown away with the service all around. We stayed in one of the suites with our family, and the room was great. We played cards on the patio at night and swam in the pool/lake all day. The food is great here as well! This was a GREAT option for our Italy trip.

Pro tip - use the car ferry if you go to Bellagio as it cuts off a ton of time.

When we drove to this hotel, we first didn't know where to park until we drove in the direction of the hotel. We saw a parking sign and rang the bell to enter the garage. The price for the garage was quite high for a night (€24). With a bigger car like an SUV the garage is quite tight but good we came with a small car. The front desk was very welcoming and friendly. They explained us everything. We booked a SPA with our room but unfortunately the SPA was full but they offered us an alternative with which we were OK. The room we had was nice, clean and spacious. The Hotel restaurant was very good. The drinks they served were delicious. The breakfast was amazing. They had plenty of options and for everyone there was something to choose from. The area is very nice and we will for sure come back.

We’ve just spent four nights at The Grand Hotel Imperiale in Moltrasio and would highly recommend it. The hotel itself is very traditional in style which isn’t our usual choice, but the staff were unfailingly welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were superb with a generous selection to choose from, we only ate dinner once in the bar and while hotel prices always feel high it wasn’t outrageous and was delicious.

The hotel spa is divine, a time must be reserved but ensures the spa is not too busy which makes it all the more enjoyable. My husband had a wonderful massage too.

Our main thanks must go to Arianna and the concierge team for all their helpful suggestions and advice regarding transportation, entertainment and local restaurants. Their friendliness and quick understanding of what we might enjoy ensured the he success of our time in Moltrasio. Grazie mille!
