Hotel Orso Bruno

Exquisite boutique hotel with everything! Staff is exceptional and Antonia goes above and beyond for each guests needs ! Most especially findings rides. Amazing restaurant on site. Also Across from Urio boat launch and on the bus line. Minutes to Como city center. I missed it the moment we checked out. Rooms are spacious and clean and comfortable! Will visit again if ever in the area Views of the lake are breathtaking ❤️

Hotel Orso Bruno exceeded every expectation. Our room was directly on the lake, large, spacious, and absolutely spotless — one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in. Waking up to that view each morning was unforgettable.

The on-site restaurant is hands down the best in the area (and TripAdvisor agrees!). Every meal was incredible, and the staff are among the nicest people we’ve met in Italy — truly welcoming and attentive. Special mention to Samuel, the manager, who went above and beyond to prepare a personalized gluten-free breakfast for us.

The hotel is perfectly located with the ferry right in front, making it easy to reach other towns quickly. Honestly, I wouldn’t stay in Como town itself — too crowded. This location gives you peace, beauty, and convenience.

Considering the quality, the price is very reasonable. I’ve been to Lake Como many times, and this was by far my favorite stay. Don’t think twice — book here, you won’t regret it!

We spent 3 nights at Hotel Orso Bruno and would have happily stayed longer if our schedule had allowed. Great location with ferry and bus directly out front. Lovely breakfast in the morning in the dining room overlooking the lake. We had a great dinner in the restaurant as well. The room was clean and spacious with beautiful views of the lake. The best part of our stay was the staff- everyone, from the front desk to the dining room staff, was so kind, friendly and helpful. I accidentally left my phone in a taxi and they quickly called the taxi service to locate the driver and help coordinate the return. I hope we will be back again soon. Quaint immaculate hotel ,Food was delicious. Very nice selection for breakfast.Dinner is available until 10:30 pm.Steps away is the boat to take you to various locations,and runs all day long.Next door is a lovely bar,with tables and seating by the lake for a cocktail and light snack if you chose. Best to pay a few dollars and reserve parking when booking This hotel was an excellent choice for Quinto and I. 3 thumbs up!!

This quaint hotel was really clean and good-sized! The front desk was very friendly and check in and check out was easy. Two balconies with amazing views in our room!

Hotel was wonderful and restaurant was very good! Hardest part was finding transportation to and from the hotel and the water taxi stops less frequently than other stops so plan accordingly.

Beautiful little hotel in the stunning Lake Como! Breakfasts were brilliant - what a view. The ferry left from right outside and it was walkable to a couple of nice restaurants. We had the family room for four which was perfectly adequate for us. Would highly recommend this hotel. I would stay again if I’m ever lucky enough to be back in lake Como!

Unfortunately I arrived late and had to leave early for business but they made it very easy for me to collect my keys, access my room and parking and the room was lovely.

Our family of five, including two teenagers, had a truly pleasant stay at the family-run Orso Bruno. Finding accommodation for us in a single room can be a challenge, but Orso Bruno offered a fantastic family room that comfortably fit everyone. The convenient Bus-Boat stop right outside the hotel made exploring Como town and the surrounding lakeside villages a breeze. We also enjoyed the breakfast and dinner, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. We will absolutely be returning! 10/10
