Highly recommend. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, fast wifi and great breakfast. Check-out time at 11AM is very fair and lets you ease into the day before leaving.
The location is a solid 4,5/5. It's not in the city center, which has its pros and cons. One the one hand, you're about 45-55 min. away from San Marco and the more scenic areas. On the other hand however, those are still easy to reach by boat. Lido is ideal for those who want to escape the busier, more touristy areas of Venice, still offering plenty of nice restaurants and cafés.
Would love to come back one day!

This hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, and the service is outstanding. Estella at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect.

The rooms were fine. The decor in the restaurant is a bit tacky… I would have given a higher score but the service was not great - the nights in September got cold and there was no blanket in the room. I asked the reception for one but they never brought one 😔

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at the New Reiter Hotel on Lido di Venezia. This charming, small hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms were cozy and inviting, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Cleanliness was impeccable, which made our stay even more pleasant.

This review is just about the restaurant, not the hotel. Me and my girlfriend were having holiday at Lido. We were dining here almost every evening, because:
- nice, friendly, professional staff
- we never had to wait even a minute to be seated, they even set up new tables if needed
- delicous drinks and food - best pizza in town!
- nice atmosphere, even with live music!
- friendly prices
We had some bad experiences at other restaurants here, but this one is a definitive recommendation. Thumbs up!

And again one of those restaurants where nice people work, but which is completely devalued by the behavior of the head waiter. He obviously enjoys keeping a family with two overtired children waiting on purpose and showing them who's boss. He was demonstratively standing at the counter, less than two meters away from us, looking at photos on his mobile phone. We asked for the bill multiple times, he always said "yes yes" but kept looking at photos. He just completely ignored us. And that for over 10 minutes.
Sure - in Venice a waiter can behave like this without consequences. The tourists will come anyway.

My wife and her sisters stayed here this week, what a gem. Our rooms were comfortable and very spacious there is tea, coffee and a kettles at your disposal. The breakfast was very good, lots of choices and delicious. There is a restaurant on site with a marvelous play ground at the back for the children. What a good idea. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the desk clerks were excellent especially Martucci ( I hope the name is correct) he was just so funny and cared for the customers comfort. We are so happy to have found this hotel and will definitely stay here again on our 4th visit to Venice. It is on Lido Island which is a fun place and one boat away from Venice central.

We loved to stay in this hotel ❤️Absolutely great staff, we were feeling travel sick when we came to the hotel so they gave us drinks and let us do the check in an hour earlier. There were very good air condition in the hotel room & lobby, even though the weather is over 30 degrees. Location is very good and we used google maps to navigate. There goes ferries from near the train station and centre directly to the island where the hotel is five minute walk away from a ferry stop. Ferries come frequently. Calm location with lots of shops and restaurants along the street that were open to late hours. If we come back to Venice, we would stay in this hotel again for sure.

Fantastic location, nice clean room, very quiet once in the room, friendly staff, great value for money, breakfast was OK. If I have to complain about anything, the pillow was a bit hard!

We were meant to stay at the hotel in August and my girlfriend and I were really looking forward to it. We had booked three nights but due to my mother being at high risk we are not allowed to travel. We had asked the hotel to refund us and they wouldn't. They said we needed a valid reason for us to cancel and we replied back with a doctors note of my mothers condition and they never even had the courtesy to answer back. We have tried to contact the hotel multiple times they have blocked my number and when i try a different number they are extremely hostile and rude. Poor customer service. I understand everyone is affected by the coronavirus but they have showed no empathy.
