Hotel Colombina

Everything was wonderful including the delicious breakfast buffet. Had plenty of choices including protein options such as eggs, meats, cheeses, Greek yogurt as well as delicious pastry options. Bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked but family room was very large and comfortable for 4 of us

So pleased to have found Hotel Colombina. We enjoyed wonderful few days at end March. The location is excellent - 2 mins walk to St Mark's Square. We had 2 rooms, one with beautiful view of the canal and Bridge of Sighs, and the other with roof terrace, 360 degree views including domes of St Marks and also the canal, bridge.
All the staff were super helpful and friendly right from moment we stepped off the boat from the airport to when we left . It made our trip so special. We would definitely recommend and look forward to coming again

Had a fantastic 40th wedding anniversary break in Venice. The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly. Wonderful room with view of the canal and bridge of sighs. Breakfast excellent. Hotel is in a great central location. Loved my stay there. Can not wait to revisit the beautiful city of Venice and this hotel. Thank you to all for making our stay special. A special mention for Marco the driver who took us on a cruise around the grand canal organised by the hotel it was fantastic, he was brilliant .

From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcome. The staff were warm and attentive, making check-in smooth and easy. A special mention to Tommaso, the manager, who was fantastic, his communication was excellent, and he handled everything with such care. Any issues were resolved quickly and professionally, which we really appreciated.

Our room was beautiful, and with a little lean out of the window, we could even catch a glimpse of the Bridge of Sighs, a sight that truly made me sigh in awe! The location was perfect, just a short walk to St. Mark’s Square, making it an ideal base for exploring the heart of Venice.

Breakfast was delicious, with a great mix of continental options, eggs, and bacon, plenty to keep us going for a full day of sightseeing.

If you're visiting Venice, I’d absolutely recommend staying here. The combination of friendly service, a stunning location, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere made our trip even more special. We would love to come back one day!

- Price, room is small and not really comfortable, too stuffy, too colorful, a strange arrangement of furniture, so-so breakfast

+ Good location. Nice staff. Very comfortable room.
- Breakfast was not on the roof with nice view like it shows on discription.

Great privately owned hotel close to all amenities. Very quiet as there are a lot of people about. Great breakfast, great staff and it is next to the bridge of siges so easy to find. IMPORTANT
Get yourself a guide book or map as you will get lost. But you are close to ST Marks square. enjoy your stay.....

From booking to checkout our stay was fantastic. Paolo set us up in a balcony room right after I booked and responded immediately to my transfer requests. Then when checking in hotel manager Filippo was wonderful. He made us feel very special and taken care of. He even took some pictures for us! A gentleman at the desk, I can't remember his name, was so helpful getting us oriented with a map and suggestions and when we tried to book a gondola and they were trying to charge us too much he showed us exactly where to go. Bar service at night was a great way to end the evening. We were very impressed but how well we were taken care of. This was for our honeymoon and this was the splurge of the trip. We were not disappointed and they even had prosecco waiting for us on ice! This hotel was my favorite part of our entire European tour. Thank you. I will be sharing my experience with everyone and we will be back as soon as possible. Thank you again sincerely for everything.
