We overlooked a road that had walls surrounding an equestrian yard. Tiny shower but hot water.

This is a great hotel for the price. Not on the main islands of Venice; but, it’s just a short boat ride to the other islands. The hotel is walking distance from a beautiful sand beach.
My three-night stay at hotel Sorriso was a complete nightmare. The room had no heating, leaving us freezing cold even with extra layers and blankets. The old receptionist was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Only after two nights of complaints did a young receptionist finally move us to a different room. However, the fact that it took persistent complaints and two nights of discomfort to prompt any action is simply unacceptable. If a hotel cannot provide heating in April, they shouldn't be renting out rooms. A comfortable temperature for sleep is not an amenity, it's a must.
In addition to the heating and staff issues, another major problem was the presence of a large dog that freely wandered around the ground floor, including the reception, kitchen, and breakfast area. The dog incessantly barked at guests, creating a disruptive and unpleasant atmosphere. This not only detracted from the overall experience but also raised concerns about hygiene and safety.
Overall, my stay at this hotel in Venice was undoubtedly the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I strongly advise against considering this establishment for your visit to Venice. Look elsewhere for a hotel that prioritizes guest comfort, professionalism, and a peaceful environment.
It's a good accommodation if you don't want to spend the night in central Venice.
Nice, clean hotel. Air condition and comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to public transport and close to public beach. Good value for money.
