The rooms are spacious, the breakfast and pool are ok and the people are very friendly. The location is a bit quiet but the view makes up for it. As long as you have a car to visit other places this hotel is a nice place to spend the night.

Very lovely campsite! The view from the swimmingpool is gorgeous! The campsite is quiet, and there is lots of shade. Great location, great views, Not far from San Gimignano and Poggibonsi. Very nice landlord. Stayed there for a week in June and have reserved for two weeks for next year. The only flaw is the difficult reception of the telephone signal which, combined with a very weak wifi, makes navigation practically impossible (especially where you have breakfast). Hii friends, i visited this hostel last week. The hostel is actually at a very nice location and near to some of the historical places (San Gimignano and Wine Yards). The rooms were CLEAN enough and lockers to keep your stuff was also much spacious. Bathrooms, the most important was also clean although a little space to shower was more complicatedbut adjustable if you spend one or two nights atleast...

Vibe of the hostel was great, travelers were all very friendly and congenital without it being a "party hostel" and the rules were lax. The showers were pretty poor though and in order for the rooms to be cool you need to open the windows which also let's in a large amount of beetles.

It seems they mostly have four bed rooms, so while we only needed one bed ( we put two twins together) we had to extras. It'd be great for a group of friends or a family. For the price it is a great b & b. The flaw is the soundproofing of the room. At night you can hear everything that happens in the structure, it would be enough to put at least some gaskets around the door. The bathroom, although clean, is too small without a bidet and with a built-in shower. If the goal is to spend a night on the fly it is the right place ... for a vacation ... umhhh

Nice place. We spent 2 weeks in high season with 4 people. We lucked out with apartment no 1 right next to the pool. There is a nice Tuscan atmosphere. Quiet place. In our 2nd week all apartments were occupied. Then it got a bit busier. But luckily all nice friendly people (Hungarians and French). Apartment is a bit minimally furnished. Incredible hospitality from the hotel and all the team, they couldn't have done more to make our stay perfect. Happily welcomed our dog and even provided a bed and bowls for him. The property is outstanding and the manager and team were very friendly and nothing was a problem. The manager directed us to all of the most outstanding towns and villages, with amazing restaurants for all budgets. We had the most relaxing time!

The view of Castello and from the pool was breathtaking, you feel like staying in heart of Tuscany.

Scenic, nice property. Not very accessible strongly suggest a car. Taxis are hard to get. Swimming pool is not heated but good size and clean. Local town is a few kms away but hard to get to on foot.

The place is a true corner of paradise, completely isolated on the top of a hill with stunning views around, Vines and olive trees cover the gentle rolling hills. Plenty of outdoor seating with free benches, gazebos and deck chairs are available to complete the relax. A bottle of local wine was kindly offered as a courtesy welcome.

Just everything perfect! Thank you very much for everything. Only small point for improvement is to attach furniture leg feet rug felt pads to the chairs in the kitchen. Because when you move the chairs, it is quite noisy..

Spent 8 days in Podere san Filippo - wonderful apartment and a great base for visiting all the beautiful towns and villages in central Tuscany. Best visit in almost 10 years - the on site staff were wonderful hosts. Highly recommended.

Villa Fillinelle is an incredible estate, perfectly located amidst beautiful nature. The estate is a really old villa, but it's very comfortable and special to be there. We absolutely loved staying there. Giuseppe and Rosanna are wonderful hosts, making us feel very much at home. Our suite was beautiful and very spacious. The breakfast was good and satisfactory. A beautiful and cosy stay. Warm and friendly hosts. A breathtaking view of the Tuscan countryside and sunrise.

It was a perfect apartment for a small family with a child. Very clean with everything you need. Swimming pool was just perfect and there were a lot of possibilities for excursions around the accommodation. We found a great play ground in Barberino Val d’Elsa. It is for all age categories and there is a bar for aperitivo or a small restaurant to eat right next to it. Our daughter loved it.

Stategic position to visit the area, pool a bonus at the end of the day. For longer stay kitchen corner very handy. All rooms have access to garden or balcony, nice to have. We had mentioned we had a dog and they kindly call to check what we preferred. Breakfast good for short stays like ours, standard but nice overall, good coffee.

A great place to stay and explore with some good facilities. But following an air B and B booking and an unjustified review by the management it has spoiled our stay. Don’t expect good Wi-Fi and a good standard of repair. A shame as it could easily be much better.
