What a hidden gem 💎. Beautiful architecture and charm. We where lucky enough to have the owner make us dinner, oh my goodness best ever.

I've visited this charming villa many times in the past fifteen years. Love it! Welcoming athmosphere, friendly owner, authentic antique furniture, clean rooms, gorgeous garden with roses and swimming pool, beautiful location, excellent for sightseeing... what's not to love?

My visit was perfect. Never took the time to write a good review. So now in Corona times I will. I read in other reviews certain things I really do not recognize. A jump into the past! I have high regards for this beautiful place. If you would love a relaxing place to stay and be immersed in history, Charming Villa Marcialla is the place to be. This is your home away from home. The owner, Simone, is very helpful and welcoming. The caretakers Daniele and Caterina, along with their lovely dog Kira, are very courteous and polite. Small Tuscany village in the middle of nowhere, ok only 40 km away from Firenze. Very nice and quiet little village with genuine country spirit.

Podere Montagione in Certaldo in Tuscany is a Bed and Breakfast equipped with all comforts located in the heart of Chianti. It stands in a splendid place, set in a large garden with olive and fruit trees and has a summer swimming pool and a barbecue shared with the guests. A moderately overpriced, quaint, gated village where you get your own villa that also has a pool. The view is obstructed by many tall trees, so there is nowhere to really enjoy it. We had to rent and drive a car from Florence. Driving through the hills is scary, and even more so with the insanity that the drivers here seem to do regularly, such as passing on blind uphill turns, driving double the max...

A lovely inexpensive stay with a pool and views. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. It was big and ACed. All essential available. The owners are exceptionally nice and helpful. Anything you need is there for you. All the photos of it are exactly what the place is, so don’t expect 5 star hotel, but service is definitely 5star. Great place to stay with a family

True relaxation in the Chianti hills. Very kind staff and breakfast with homemade jams. The only flaw is the difficult reception of the telephone signal which, combined with a very weak wifi, makes navigation practically impossible (especially where you have breakfast). Hii friends, i visited this hostel last week. The hostel is actually at a very nice location and near to some of the historical places (San Gimignano and Wine Yards). The rooms were CLEAN enough and lockers to keep your stuff was also much spacious. Bathrooms, the most important was also clean although a little space to shower was more complicatedbut adjustable if you spend one or two nights atleast...

Vibe of the hostel was great, travelers were all very friendly and congenital without it being a "party hostel" and the rules were lax. The showers were pretty poor though and in order for the rooms to be cool you need to open the windows which also let's in a large amount of beetles.

Nice place. I really enjoyed being in a small town. Florence wasn't hard to get to, and the bus ride was beautiful. It seems they mostly have four bed rooms, so while we only needed one bed ( we put two twins together) we had to extras. It'd be great for a group of friends or a family. Any wheelchair users may have problems getting around as lots of 'slopes' some of which extremely steep! Make sure to have a companion!

For the price it is a great b & b. The flaw is the soundproofing of the room. At night you can hear everything that happens in the structure, it would be enough to put at least some gaskets around the door. Podere Ghiole is a place where you can find good wine or oil (produced here) and / or "disconnect" from everyday life, relaxing in the pool or reading in front of a breathtaking view, finally finding some privacy. Nice place. We spent 2 weeks in high season with 4 people. We lucked out with apartment no 1 right next to the pool. There is a nice Tuscan atmosphere. Quiet place. What a lovely B&B. The rooms are lovely, the staff is so friendly, the food and wine are delicious, and the location... wow! the location is otherworldly. I fell in love with Tuscany at the Tenuta Il Corno. We'll be back!

Found this Special place by reccomadation. Absolute Gem. The Countess was a most knowledgable person and lovely host. The Food was excellent and service Top class . I wish them all the best going into the Summer season. And look forward to our next Visit . Cheers Paul for the reccomendation 👍

A real gem in the Tuscan landscape. Maria Giulia and her team makes sure that you are being cared for and feeling welcomed all the time. The place is great, the food fantastic and so was the wine, and its a pure joy to talk wine with Maria Giulia. An extra plus for how they all helped us out finding doctors and translating for us when our little toddler got sick during the stay. We would love to come...

The most amazing place in Italy! The food is phenomenal, the wine exquisite, the staff are all so friendly and really make you feel like family. The rooms are large, warm and rustic (but a little dated). The scenery is awe-inspiring, I really recommend getting up early and watching the sunrise. I will definitely be back 😍

Tenuta Il Corno is a really beautiful place. The staff is is friendly and helpful. The view around the apartments is amazing and the apartment is really nice and clean. We want to thank all the staff for their hospitality and will come back for sure.

About a half hour driver from the center of Firenze, also near Siena, San Gimignano. Good service, the rooms were nice with a rain shower (always a plus) Right next to the hotel there's this quaint ostería with really good food and an ample selection of wines The staff was easygoing, calm, friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.

This was not our first choice, we couldn’t find anything else, either this hotel at 160usd a night or move up to 1k. One thing I can say that the rooms were extremely clean and that was the only thing going for it. The staff were very friendly and helpful

Stayed there for 5 nights. Our base for exploring Chianti region. Very clean. Decent breakfast. Friendly staff. Location is convenient but nothing special.

Breakfast is terrific especially their buns.

The rooms for the price are good, but the beds and pillows were a little hard. As the rooms are climate controlled, the thin sheets are not bad. My pillowcase had some stains on it upon entering, but overall, it was a decent room. There is no gym here, which was a little surprising considering it is a 4-star hotel.
