We were on holiday in Matera and stayed in this beautiful loft. We were guests of this wonderful family who pampered us as if we were at home. Highly recommended for those who want to visit the stones of Matera. Very close to the center (near a bus stop) and in a very quiet and pleasant area.

Federica and her family offer exquisite hospitality in a magnificent villa with a well-kept garden. The room is at the top of an external staircase, with a small private terrace. Fantastic breakfast: fresh fruit every day and a different homemade dessert every morning, plus water, milk, yoghurt, juices, everything you may need. They even gave us a bottle of wine. Clean towels every day, air conditioning...

Clean and welcoming place. The room is small but equipped with every comfort. It is possible to have breakfast on the terrace thanks to the fantastic availability of Federica and her father who welcomed us in the best possible way: every day they prepared a different dessert for us and always supplied the breakfast necessaire. They also gave us valuable information to get around Matera and its surroundings

B&B Sant'Agnese di Matera is really nice comfortable, clean, in a BEAUTIFUL location out of the chaos of the city but equally close to public transport or easy walking to get to all the important sites. The welcome of Mrs. Federica and dad are commendable just two exquisite people. Very happy with the choice.

We stayed at this B&B from 23 to 25 April 2016. The apartment, although not too large, is divided in such a way as to give enough space for even five people. It was very clean and aesthetically pleasing, equipped with every kind of comfort: plenty of towels, kitchen utensils and so on. Food for breakfast was good in quantity and varied. Excellent location near to the Sassi Bassano. Very comfortable and spacious apartment and nice bathroom. Breakfast was provided in a nearby cafe and this was good with a choice of pastries.

A big plus is that it is in the city center. The disadvantages are that although breakfast is included, you have to ask for a card to eat breakfast every day, there is no microwave in common items, and it is on the 3rd floor.

Beautiful apartment in the center very nice and clean highly recommended for children or couples, air conditioning, TV, kitchen, complete with terrace and thanks to the architect great surprise! If I return to Matera I will certainly be a guest again. The owner is also very kind and prepared.

We stayed one night at Dimora Malì. The room is part of a magnificent historic building two minutes from the center and is equipped with all possible comforts, fridge and air conditioning. It is very spacious, modern and clean. We recommend anyone wanting to stay in this magnificent city.

We spent in La Corte dei Pastori 4 days and were glad we did this choice! The place has a great location: walking distance to the center, with a view on the dwellings and hiking trails, too! Oh, and the terrace: you won't want to finish your breakfast once you sit at a table with a stunning view and scrumptious food that Tiziana, the co-owner, serves you. We stayed in the biggest room with a kitchinette...

The room was very clean and pretty. We also had a wonderful view. The staff was very kind. The breakfast was very delicious. We are going to come back when we can!

Very clean and well equipped accomodation in the alleys of Matera with gorgeous view (especially during the sunrise). The breakfast was delicious and the host very helpful, giving us all the information we needed for our late arrival check-in. Will happily come back

We were visiting the city and looked for some apartment for 3 people near the Sassi. The apartment is just behind the central square, near the Sassi with private parking in the limited traffic area, perfect location. The amazing apartment, just renovated with a very nice roof and refined finishes, the bathroom very nice and classy, ​​new mattresses and you sleep very well, the sockets for charging...

Perfect location! The private parking, reserved in front of the room door, is to be considered a luxury if you want to visit Matera. We stopped for one night before reaching Salento. We were able to leave things not necessary for visiting the city directly in the car. For the center just take 2 steps, turn the corner and it is immediately a pedestrian area. The stones can be reached in less than 1...

Place is lovely as much as the owner. She makes you feel like at home and and, in case of need, she s always ready to help. We had a wonderful stay and we r willing to come back one day. Definitely high recommended.

Booked at the last minute to spend a night in Matera, this very homely B&B (as B&Bs should be) is in an excellent position to reach the stones and the center of Matera on foot, in about ten minutes. The owner welcomed us as if we were family, and was able to recommend an excellent guided tour for those who make a stop and escape in the city. She was also very knowledgeable about all the extra closed...

Great B & B .. Bathroom in the room much appreciated and not discounted! Clean room and Mr. Angelo helpful and courteous. He recommended us a great guide to Matera and some great restaurants! And for breakfast he brought us fresh croissants, much appreciated. Highly recommended

Well furnished and clean room! Angelo the owner is a very welcoming and kind person. He made a great breakfast with fresh croissants and gave us a map with an itinerary to visit the stones. Parked the car in the streets around we always moved on foot as the B&B is attached to the historic center. Super recommended !!!!!!

Quiet area, in the forest, at the hill with a beautiful view (from the parking), going by car it is close to the city center and state road. Room was clean, beds were OK for us, good (very quiet!), new air-conditioning. There is a large parking area.

Excellent cleaning comfortable rooms clean private bathroom, quiet place, the very kind lady, gave us directions where to park x the center, where to dine etc, x all this and gives a rating of 5! Nn and 5 stars only for breakfast ... .. packaged brioches, and discount, really sad, packaged bread, fett.biscottate, very poor, and sad. if only there were fresh brioches, cakes ... it would be excellent...

Excellent b & b peripheral location, but quiet and historic center easily reachable by car with cheap car parks. Clean, spacious and perfect rooms. Excellent value for money. If I were to return I would consider it again, I recommend it.

Very quiet place just a few minutes from Matera by car. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and clean rooms. Excellent mattresses. We removed two stars because: breakfast below average. A mirror is missing in the room (the ladies say). Wi fi not working causes work on the line in Matera. All things can be improved. However, the structure is valid and advisable for a peaceful stay.

The room was clean and comfortable, the private bathroom is not actually in the room but it is seperate. The elevator did not work so for people who cannot lug a suitcase up 3 flights of stairs it may not be a good choice. The owner was very nice and we also had a parking space available for us, the owner also said we could leave the car after check out which was nice.

Our room had a balcony, we had also private fridge and a little windmill. The hosts( signora) is really friendly and helpfull. House was clean and cosy. We had also all needed devices in bathroom like hair dryer, shower gel etc.

Friendly and helpful manager, nice and clean room. I give 4 stars for this reason, the only flaws were the lack of hot water in the shower (but I think it was not up to them) and the breakfast in a bar which opens at 11 (if you decide to leave early from Matera you can must arrange otherwise)

The accommodation is located in the center of Matera, a few meters from Via Ridola. Our room was the Ofra suite, a huge and clean room with a small balcony with a side view of the Cathedral. The hot tub was a real bonus. During the stay there was a momentary malfunction of the boiler, but the owner helped us by resolving it in a more than timely manner.
