Wide view of the endless fields next to Matera. This old farm has been converted in an idealistic hotel that is just starting. Loved the big rooms with old furniture together with more modern accents. The pool is very good, but the big score of this hotel is an even better breakfast. Most products come from the farm it self! Hope to see them soon, definitely coming back!

Charming Masseria in the middle of the countryside. Well-appointed and equipped rooms. Great staff, attentive and courteous. Quality dishes are served in the restaurant, and the service is efficient. Breakfast misses a hot option though. The owners add a nice presence. The only downside concerns the price which seems a bit over what you would expect for this standing. Beautiful and we'll restored country estate. Large cool rooms, beautiful decor and friendly service. Good breakfast including plenty of vegan options (I recommend letting them know on advance if you want them). We didn't try the restaurant or bar but they seemed very good. Great advice on what and how to visit things. Highly recommended as base for a visit to Matera.

Great place to experience the magic of Matera. Very nice breakfast in a large and atmospheric cave room. The cave rooms are cosy in early spring and definitely an experience. We opted in for the guided tour of Sassi which ended up being a highlight of our trip (many thanks to Alessio L).

This has been my most memorable hotel stay ever! I’ve stayed in a cave hotel on Santorini, Greece and this was by far much nicer and more authentic. This is a truly magical place that provides a very authentic experience of spending a night (or a few) in Matera. We stayed over for one night during the off season (in February) in the room with a bathtub and it was very relaxing to use it after a full day of traveling and exploring the town. The ventilation was very good in our room (room 14) which is a very important feature when it comes to sleeping...

It was three beautiful Jordanians. Matera and the Murgia is unique and the position of the apartment practically in the stones allows you to live it in full day and night. A special thanks to the owner, in addition to the sympathy has always been extremely available for our every request. The structure in the heart of Matera is located in a strategic point to be able to visit the whole city comfortably on foot. The tastefully furnished rooms which lack absolutely nothing, very comfortable bed. If I ever had to go back to Matera, I would certainly know where to stay....

Tricky to find the first time (in the Sassi down the stairs from the piano), but just a quick five minute walk from parking. Fantastic views. Rooms are scattered, but a small elevator is helpful. Rooms are air conditioned well with good wifi. Decor is reminiscent of a botique hotel. The pool is located in a cave and is stunning, but costs an extra 10 EUR to use. Terrific breakfasts. No room service...

Pretty good hotel. Nice and luxurious breakfast. Very special rooms some with real cave in it. The only negative is the Spa/Sauna. It’s not very well maintained, the Hamam ceiling is made of wood and filthy, the sauna tiny. Pool is ok. But 20€/person for 2h in this mediocre spa is overpriced.

Beautiful hotel at a great unbeatable location. Their restaurant RegiaCorte is a must visit. The rooms are spacious, however, they lack the luxury that you would expect at these rates. The washrooms were very basic and the lighting was not adequate. The air conditioning was not very effective, however, that could also be attributable to the heat wave as temperatures were at 41 degrees celsius.

A very memorable stay for sure…we spent two nights in a cave room and it was very special!! I wouldn’t recommend any more than two nights in this room as the caves are more humid and our things started to feel damp by the third day. Service team was exceptional. We had a little mix up with the cab when we arrived, and had to walk in the rain, but I actually really liked the walk through the old town!! What a nice hotel! It just happens to be off, unbeaten path in Matera. There’s not a lot around the hotel in the way of shops or restaurants. But the hotel itself offers at one stop shop with the restaurant. We have a wonderful Italian pasta dinner downstairs with our tour group. An enjoyed an amazing breakfast before we departed for Naples, Italy.

A beautiful resort that offers almost everything you need for a fantastic holiday in Matera. Gym, pools, spa and plenty of space inside and out. I spent five days in this beautiful place for work, and if I return to Matera, I will definitely come back here.

Perfect location for a visit in Matera. Underground parking with elevator so easy to load and unload luggage. Lovely breakfast, very friendly staff and very clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel is modern and a 1 minute walk from the main square - we appreciated the proximity and easy access especially given the 40C heat. Highly recommend.

Dream structure in the center of Matera, excellent location for visiting the stones. The girls at the reception welcomed us with kindness and professionalism. We stayed in the cave room depandace. This is difinately the place to stay in Matera. Apart from being a great cozy, fine hotel you get to be in historical place with extra oridinery staff and owner.

We stayed for a 24h pit stop in Matera, we are glad we stayed at Corte San Pietro as Giuseppe and Cosimo made our 24h as perfect as possible. They did managed to book la Lopa restaurant who was great. Finding a table outside during ferragosto in Italy is almost impossible. This hotel is fabulous. The view is amazing and breakfast is terrific. Our room was a cave -- as well as huge and very well-appointed, including our own private patio. The staff is very helpful and friendly. A bit of a walk to the center of town, but it's a beautiful stroll. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

The building and the location are stunning, so as the rooms some of which have a panoramic view over the Sassi. Very nice and friendly staff and a very good level of service overall. The hotel has its own parking which is a huge plus as you can forget your car for the duration of your stay here.
