The room and the bathroom was big with very good daily cleaning. The Parking and WiFi was great. Only 1 km to the center of Merano shops, restaurants, terme Merano. We had beautiful view on the mountains from our big balcony, but not very private, they are just next to each other. The breakfast was just enough for us, but should be more veried like more vegetables and warm dishes(pancakes, scrambled...

We had a nice stay in Merano. We were very pleasantly received by the Brunner Family The room was well maintained and tastefully decorated. The breakfast buffet was rich and left nothing to be desired. We liked the hotel very much and will also book this hotel at our next holiday in Merano. Very symphatic. 5 stars.

Service was excellent. I had a single room and it was very comfortable, a modern bathroom and a balcony with a view of the mountains.

Nice garden. Free parking, ok WiFi speed, rental ebikes are about 30 euros for half a day to a day. Bikes are good, battery lasts at least for 30 km. Rooms have a great view of the mountains.

Very friendly hosts in this family run mid-sized hotel. Fantastic indoor AND outdoor pool with even greater views. Also very quiet neighborhood, yet only 10 minutes walking distance into the town center. I highly recommend this place if you intend to stay in Tirolo.

A great family-owned mountain-view hotel located on woodsy grounds less than a 20 minute walk from the centre. Room was modern, clean and quiet (though no aircon and no minibar). The staff were warming and helpful. There’s a good quality breakfast buffet with a bright restaurant and a bar. The pool was well-kept. Good value for money, we will certainly come back.

On the edge of town.idea if you have a car.Quiet, excellent food and drink and good outdoor swimming pool,very clean.Rooms are comfortable and clean.The owner and staff are excellent and very friendly.If you are on foot it is a good 15 minute plesant walk to town but another 10-15 minutes to the station.

We didn’t stay in the hotel but had lunch there on the day Merano flooded with tourists. The place’s real local, almost no tourist at lunch time. Food was very nice and good price. Service is good.

Good hotel in center of Meran. Very old building with high ceilings we liked it. Not up to date but good enough for us. Private parking was full so we had to put our car on the street. Breakfast was good but not perfect.

We spent a week at the Salgart as part of an Inghams holiday, we had a first floor room with a balcony overlooking the pool, with views of the valley. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have a safe and plenty of space for clothes etc. It maybe lacks in some of the little extras such as bottled water, small fridge and a kettle, but thats only a minor detail. Very nice hotel , so clean , big rooms and very good , the bath is big and arranged well , free parking , free Wi-Fi , twelve minutes from the centre , the breakfast is excellent and includes so much to eat , The hotel is suitable for four stars at least , hope to visit again

This is a family run hotel and it is one of the most enjoyable stays we have had in a hotel for many a year. The staff were polite, welcoming, helpful and had a sense of humour. They could not have been more helpful. The rooms were lovely with a great sized balcony and good views. We thought the location of the hotel was excellent. What a pleasure to return after the restrictions of the pandemic. The same beautiful location but with a change of management to Sabina and Linda we noticed some great improvements. A new thermal outdoor pool, new patio furniture, Wi-Fi throughout the rooms and lots of little touches. Service was super, food good and such a relaxing position. A hotel to feel good! We were here in August 2021 and were completely satisfied. Both the very clean and large room and the delicious breakfast with a large selection were simply brilliant. You can really tell how the Pichler family is there with all their hearts! We would love to come back and can warmly recommend the Sirmian.

Nice appartement with a beautiful view to the valley. The hotel is small but with familiar atmosphere. Breakfast was okay. The owner lady was very kind and helpful. We spent a beautiful holiday there and for sure we come back next summer.

A really fantastic hotel, here every euro is worth two. Well-kept, the rooms are super clean, the breakfast and especially the dinner is absolutely brilliant and most importantly the staff is a dream. Every wish is already done before it is expressed. You know what I mean... We won't have been here for the first time.

The view is spectacular, and the location is great—it's just a short walk to downtown and very close to the train station. The rooms are comfortable and feature a wonderful private balcony. Like our previous reviewers, we have only good things to say: a super-friendly and helpful hostess, clean, freshly renovated rooms including a modern bathroom, air conditioning, and a good breakfast served at your table! The building dates back to the 1950s, and some of the furnishings may be, too. But the charm and friendly service are what counts. We stayed there for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed...

We stayed two nights here, and it was absolutely perfect. Room had AC, great WiFi, a newly renovated bathroom and comfortable beds. Locked parking was available for free, and it was really easy to access the city from the hotel even if not going by car. Absolutely loved the service from the owner/worker Roberta. She will help you with anything. Chatting with her after visiting the city was lovely...

Excellent location with a breathtaking view of the Merano, 2 minutes from the train station. The landlady, Mrs. Roberta, is uniquely helpful and kind. An oasis in the center of Merano! I recommend Villa Tyrol to all guests who appreciate living in a paradise in the center of Merano. Free parking and newly renovated rooms with shower / toilet / hairdryer, minibar, satellite TV and some with bidet and south-facing balcony. Boss very friendly and tried hard. Looks well organized and is happy to help. Your partner, however, appears very unfriendly, snotty and dismissive. Room: despite the price rather simple, with hard-to-close bathroom doors and diced colored bed linen. Breakfast very good and varied. Pool area with no shade and a simple ready-to-use pool. Garden planting at most only in the making and sad for plant lovers...

Service was great. Pool was wonderful. Great setting. Breakfast set the day off well. We were on a motorcycle tour through the Alps and Villa Tyrol made it special.

Food is great and fresh, waiting times are usually long but its a price i am willing to pay since every sushi roll is fresh made.

I was only there for lunch but the food was delicious and the service quite fast. Everything was clean and everybody was nice and helpful and food was not too expensive.

Great Asian food (especially the sushi) for a fair price. All-you-can-eat lunch option costs €12.90, the dinner one is for €19.90. The restaurant could use a brushing up though.

A hotel above a bar on a busy street without other dining options nearby. The owners did their best to be helpful but their children ran around all afternoon slamming doors and at night the bar patrons went until 2AM. The kitchen is upstairs near my room and runners were constantly going in and out.
