Great hotel! Super clean. Rich breakfast! Very friendly staff! However, you should be careful when booking - the "normal double rooms" only have a French balcony. We definitely missed a balcony to sit out on or to hang up clothes in the fresh air after hiking. Unfortunately, we did not pay attention when booking.

The hotel was perfect: everything was brand new and very clean. The staff was very friendly and nice. The dinners were excellent and very tasty. Even though the hotel is not close to the center, I'd recommend it for sure.

We booked the hotel at short notice while we were already there. Unfortunately, when we checked in, we found out that the room didn't even have air conditioning. But it's actually standard for me. For a minimal extra charge we got a new room, which was much more modern than the old one. Apparently there is a renovated area and a non-renovated area. hotel to recommend: spacious and well-organised rooms, beautiful terrace with beautiful views, large and well-serviced bathroom. Wless working and fast. Amazing family run 4*superior Boutique Hotel. The rooms and the rooftop rose garden have amazing mountain views and the Spa has an incredible indoor & outdoor pool, Sauna, Turkish bath and relaxation area. The absolute highlight is the food. We loved this hotel! We met friends for the weekend. Together we were four adults and seven children. It is clean, beautiful, modern but charming and the family who owns it is so kind and helpful! It is walking distance to a castle and gardens. The restaurant was delicious for breakfast and lunch. The pool was the perfect temperature and perfect for adults and children. Booked last minute and received a price around €150 incl breakfast which is excellent value these days. Loved the park, the outside pool, the outside lounge. The inside pool and the rooms are a tad on the older charming side, but this is typical in all of Italy, and especially in castle hotels. We were very happy with our stay.

Lovely historic hotel with fantastic views and extremely courteous staff. Wonderful outdoor pool and a convenient indoor one for bad weather. Breakfast and dinner were top notch, made even better by the historic interior of the dining hall. It’s very close to the center, but removed just enough to not be disturbed by constant foot traffic one sees in the old town quarter.

The place to stay in Merano. Approximately a 7 minute walk from downtown, along the river. This is a sanctuary of peace and tranquility. The amenities: pool, sauna, whirlpool, are great. There was aircon which functioned well. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The outdoor pool was very nice and I was often alone in it. We spent a very relaxing few days here. The hotel is beautifully located near the wine cellars, yet still close to the city center. You can buy homemade wine from them. The garden is beautiful, full of flowers, with a view of the mountains and a swimming pool. The owner and staff were very friendly, and the rooms were super clean. Overall a reasonably good hotel: rooms were okay and the swimming pool was amazing after a warm day in Merano. Breakfast was good, with enough variety. When checking in, the staff acted like we annoyed him and seemed reluctant to help us. The location also isn't great: it's around a 20 minute walk alongside a busy road to the town centre.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 days and felt very comfortable. The hotel is located in the residential area of ​​Merano. It is a simple hotel but everything is very clean and tidy. My second stay, if I return to Merano I will stay again. The staff is absolutely lovely, they’ll make reservations at the baths (the peel and wrap is a trip) and have spa bags (robe & towel) for rent, and I really like their single rooms (#209) - the balcony and hallway make it seem much larger. And the bedding is wonderful.

Great stay, staff were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Beautiful, walkable area. I would stay again! Only downside is Parking is slightly inconvenient as its not on the property but about 1-2 blocks away. If its busy its tricky to park for check in.

Fully renovated and supremely located hotel. The rooms are very spacious for European standards, and very comfortable. Reliable high-speed WiFi and functioning A/C. Easy access to pedestrian shopping and dining. The hotel offers free parking at a garage less than 50 meters away (parking reservation suggested). Full continental breakfast, and amazing coffee.
