What could have been better is the AC which was very weak so it was always hot and humid in the room, and the beds (3 separate 80 cm wide) felt small and like folding tent beds. Amazing experience here. The l Past reviews had worried me a bit but I couldn’t fault it. The staff are incredible going above and beyond always. WARNING: if you are staying here relying on hotel coach service, they do not run. You rely on public transport. The bus that regularly stops outside often will not stop because they are full. We're with a tour group. Rooms and beds are small. Seems to like that in most hotels in Italy. Our biggest complaint is the shower, tiny and no where to put your soap or shampoo. Stayed here in 2018 with my misses but never left a review for some reason, hotel is beautiful lovely location with spectacular views, staff can’t do enough for you and in general the atmosphere and food/drink was spot on. We will be coming back here in 2022, this time using more of the facilities as we didn’t use them enough last time.

A hotel with a good location, large and comfortable rooms, high degree of freedom for guests, parking fee is only 10 euros, and electric bicycles are available for rent. Friendly staff, a large and well-maintained garden in the hotel. I will choose to stay here again if I go to Sorrento next time.

The atmosphere of the lounge and facilities is good. If you are going to use a room, get at least a deluxe room. The basic standard room has little space for a carrier and the space between the bathroom and the room is somewhat narrow.

Nice property, with beautiful views off the escarpment. Nice pool and restaurant. Rooms were dated and in need of upgrades, for example our main door wouldn’t open very well due to it binding on the floor. Drainage in our shower stall was slow, so there were concerns of water overflow into the washroom.

Enjoyed our stay in September 2019. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They always had a pleasant attitude. Enjoyed their breakfast. Great selection of fruits. Five minute walk to the beach and 30 minutes to Sorrento. Train stops were not too far away. Oh yes, the lodging was clean and well maintained.

Wonderful place to stay — outside of the chaos of Sorrento, in a gorgeous garden and olive grove with a view down to the sea. Antonella is a garden artist and the place is just bursting with flowers and plants and fruit trees. The welcome is warm and the dinners home cooked and delicious. Hope to come again some day!

We have never ever been made to feel this welcome anywhere in the world and we have travelled extensively. Amazing experience. Experience Italy the Italian way. It’s a little far from the town of sorrento but I liked how quiet it was. Last day of our week at Don Camillo and it has been superb. A peaceful idyllic oasis away from downtown Sorrento set in beautiful grounds. The pool is excellent so it’s easy to just spend time here and escape the hustle and bustle of the area. The staff have been lovely and the food is very good. Would highly recommend.
